One of the most transformational questions I ask my clients is, are you willing to see how your company failing could be just as good as your company succeeding? Most of them initially reply, absolutely not. Are you crazy? No way, right? If I didn't care if my company failed, what would drive me? Why would I motivate myself? Why would I do anything? But actually, it turns out it's easier to create the results that you're not attached to. The less attached you are to an outcome, the easier it is to create them. So ironically, what they find is that as they let go of attachment, they free up their creativity, their aliveness, they're less stressed, and they're actually more resourceful and able to make the company successful.
