Why is nobody talking about how insane it is that when you buy a house, it's celebrated in society like you've now made it in life? Most of the people who I know who bought a house have squeezed out their last dollar for the house deposit and now they're living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to pay the mortgage. All because society says that if you own a house, you're now successful in life.
That could be that. Because here in America, 47% of real estate agents didn't sell one home last year and and 87% quit before the five year mark. People are getting bad advice. So don't follow a platitude that says owning a home means now you've made it. Follow a plan, follow the math. Get the right education with the right team.
