I don't know the answer. I'm, you know, I'm here at Daily Wire and I'm sort of the panel's resident non-optimist. I'm not a pessimist, but I don't know how you can rationally be optimistic or pessimistic. It's this— I just don't know how there is to know. And I don't work on vibes. Most people have strong vibes. I'm not a vibe guy, so I don't know what to say. How do you guys feel? I'm very curious.
Well, Dennis, we want to know what you think. My feeling is it's real simple. Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? Unless you're an illegal alien, the answer is no. That should be the end of the discussion. The fact that it's close is to me mind-boggling, and it's a statement about how left-wing the media are, how they've pounded Donald Trump for all these years, and therefore people aren't, in my opinion, seeing the issues clearly. Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? I know you think Donald Trump is a fascist, but are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? That to me should be the end of the discussion, but apparently it's not.
That's right. It's not complex, is it?

It's not difficult. And it's bizarre, Dennis, that we're living in an era right now where we saw a candidate who is arguably the worst candidate in the history of American politics in a blink of an eye because they kicked Grandpa Joe down the steps in July. And it's close. I mean, I'm like, I'm with Larry. I'm in a state of shock that it could even be close. How can they even be in the same arena after what we've witnessed in 2024?
It shows the impact of the left on the American people. And as I say so often, one of the handful of changed mind ideas in my last 15 years— by and large, at a certain age, you tend to have established your positions. There is something that has changed my mind. I always believed, since I studied the left graduate school.
