Biden promised to propose a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented immigrants in his first 100 days. A commentator disputes the plan and argues the election hinges on character, calling Biden a corrupt career politician while fact-checking Trump's claims about his record with Black voters.
Within 100 days, I'm going to send to the United States Congress a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people.
Yeah, okay, what do you say to that, folks? Another reason to vote for Joe Biden, isn't it? You know why they want another 11 million people? You know what it means? You know, this is, uh, undocumented. That means people who, who sneaked into the United States. Illegal. They used to be called illegal aliens. Now it's undocumented. The language change. You want 11 million people who illegally came into the U.S. to become citizens? Vote Democrat. Those of you in Arizona, well, I don't know, I like the senatorial candidate. He's a nice guy. He's a former astronaut.
Wow.
You want 11 million more undocumented Americans to become Americans? You want illegal— 11 million. It's astonishing. There you go. I mean, what's more obvious in terms of the difference? You vote Democrat, this is your future. United States hangs in the balance in many ways in this election. I don't want to say in all ways because I don't want to dispirit you, so I'll say in many ways. Yep. All right, let's see. Let's go to 44.
The fact of the matter is there is institutional racism in America, and we have always said— we've never lived up to it— that we hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women are created equal. Well, guess what? We have never ever lived up to.
Who lives up to it? I mean, what are you talking— what is this, utopia? We have lived up to it more than any other nation in the history of the world. This is what they do. It's, here's utopian ideal, and here's our failure. Systemic racism. It's another reason to vote for him. How a liberal could vote for the Democrats is a disgrace. It's just disgraceful. It's a— it's truly an alienation from all your liberal values. 45.
He's been in government 47 years. He never did a thing.
That's exactly right. 46.
Nobody has done more for the Black community than Donald Trump. And if you look, with the exception of Abraham Lincoln, possible exception, but the exception of Abraham Lincoln, nobody has done what I've done.
I think that's true, to be honest. A lot of blacks think that's true. By the way, this is recorded as a lie by the Washington Post in their 22,000 lies. This is an example of a lie in their view. Number 47.
You know, Joe, I ran because of you. I ran because of Barack Obama, because you did a poor job. If I thought you did a good job, I would have never run. I would have never run. I ran because of you. I'm looking at you now. You're a politician. I ran because of you.
There's another— just such pure truth. He's a politician. That's all he is. That's all Joe Biden is, is a politician who got wealthy As a politician. Corrupt politician. That's correct. Number 48.
Well, I tell you what, I, uh, I hope he does look at me because what's happening here is you know who I am. You know who he is.
I do.
You know his character. You know my character.
Agreed.
You know our reputations for honor and telling the truth. I am anxious to have this race. I am anxious to see this take place. I am The character of the country is on the ballot. Our character is on the ballot. Look at us closely.
Happen to agree with all of that. That's the irony.
