Gov't Therapy Sessions Offered After Election

The State Department offered mental health counseling to employees after the 2024 election. Dennis Prager calls this evidence of a deep state unwilling to accept Trump's victory, and argues federal workers who can't support his foreign policy should resign or be fired.

Derek Issa, the congressman from California, writes regarding the therapy sessions in the State Department, I am concerned that the department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government-funded, government-funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris was not elected president, uh, of the United States. In addition to the therapy sessions, Am Greatness writes, an internal State Department email advertised an, quote, insightful webinar where we delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times, close quote. Uh, change is a constant in our lives, ISA writes, but it can often bring about stress. Oh, I'm sorry, this is the State Department. Change is a, uh, is a constant in our lives, but it can often, often bring about stress and uncertainty. Join us for an insightful webinar where we will delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times. This session will provide tips and practical strategies for managing stress and maintaining your well-being. Issa referred to these sessions as, quote unquote, disturbing, noting that, quote, nonpartisan government officials should not be having a, quote, personal meltdown over the result of a free and fair election, close quote. He goes on to say, the mere fact that the department is hosting these sessions raises significant questions about the willingness of its personnel to implement the lawful policy priorities that the American people elected President Trump to pursue and implement. ICE's letter continued, the Trump administration has a mandate for wholesale change in the foreign policy arena, and if Foreign Service officers cannot follow through the American people's preferences, they should resign and seek a political appointment in the next Democrat administration. Now, why is this so disconcerting? Because obviously we'll get to the issue, uh, with Judge Chutkan in just a moment here. But why is this in particularly so disconcerting? You're talking about the Secretary of State. Now, Senator Marco Rubio is going to be coming in and replacing, uh, Antony Blinken. Thank you, Jesus. All right, for that one, I'm so appreciative of that. I've never been more appreciative of Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Marco Rubio, than I am now. And I mean that sincerely. I like Senator Marco Rubio. I think he has been a good senator for the state of Florida. I've had my disagreements with him on some issues, but overall, I think he's been a good senator. I think he's going to make an excellent Secretary of State. Given the times that we're living in right now and the foreign policy debacle that the Trump administration will be inheriting. But this is why this is so, so disconcerting to me. This is the Secretary of State. This is the State Department. This is a guy that's over, I mean, over our foreign policy, dealing with the, uh, you know, relations with, uh, foreign adversaries and allies and all of that kind of good stuff. And yet here he is with the audacity to send out this email saying, hey, if you guys need therapy sessions, uh, after this, uh, loss, you know, I'm paraphrasing, but hit me up. Now what's so disconcerting about that is the fact that all of these employees are supposed to be neutral. A lot of these employees you cannot get rid of. This is why I'm so thankful for this Doge— I'm calling it Doge Commission. Department of Government Efficiency with Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk. But this is why this is so crucial. The fact that the Secretary of State is comfortable enough to send out an email that says if you need therapy sessions because Trump is elected not only suggests that you have children in the State Department that can't deal with life, but you also have a bunch of left-wing radical loyalists that are loyal to the system, not just necessarily loyal to a Kamala Harris or to a Joe Biden, but have been trained and brainwashed perhaps on these college campuses. And now they are loyal to a system. The work that President Trump is going to have to do. This is why I say, guys, it is fun. I am so glad we won that election. We all breathed a sigh of relief. But I'm telling you, the work has just begun. As Ned Ryan and his book has said, The American Leviathan. We are talking about a state within a state. You're talking about a group of people that literally want to get rid of our civil liberties. They don't even think about it. I don't even think a lot of these people think about it. But the fact that you have the Secretary of State talking about therapy sessions, you got grown behind men and women working in our federal government that have to be treated like little babies. and you've got grown behind men and women in our federal department that are literally adversarial to our system as it exists. What will they do? This is the deep state. It's not complicated. Frankly, anyone, in my opinion, anyone who took Secretary of State Blinken, and I'm so glad we get to say former soon, up on that offer, in my opinion, should be fired. If you're a grown-behind adult and you can't listen— we suffered through the election of 2020. We all have our disagreements with it. We suffered through it. We endured. We accepted it. And we continue to fight for 2024. These people are supposed to be neutral. That's very scary to me. That's very scary to me. And so I want you to understand, we are all— again, we're all excited. We all can bring good news. You know, forgive me. I know sometimes bad host, bad host, bad host. I get it because I come with the thunder sometimes. But man, I don't play when it comes to freedom. I simply do not play when it comes to freedom. I want to make sure that after President Trump leaves the White House, that America is even more free than he left it, quite frankly. When whomever else, whomever the next president is, this. I, I, you know, I want the same. I want the same thing.
