In this satirical YouTube segment, two speakers (A and B) riff on the aftermath of Donald Trump’s election victory. They claim the result is a "terrible night" for a wide array of groups—immigrants, healthcare workers, climate scientists, journalists, the middle class, seniors on Social Security, NATO allies, and even Trump supporters—suggesting that everyone will suffer regardless of how they voted. The dialogue mocks Democratic figures such as Kamala Harris, accusing her of false middle‑class claims and depicting her as needing a McDonald’s job, and ridicules liberal celebrities (Whoopi Goldberg, Bette Midder, Barbra Streisand) for their reactions. The speakers also downplay the Capitol riot, labeling it a non‑insurrection, and use dark humor about watching opponents “suffer.” The overall tone is partisan, sarcastic, and hyperbolic, aiming to lampoon both the political left’s outrage and the notion that Trump’s win would be universally catastrophic.
The plan.
Children, for the hundreds of thousands of hardworking immigrants who make this country go, for healthcare, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech. It was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors who rely on Social Security, for our allies in Ukraine. For NATO, for the truth and democracy and decency. And it was a terrible night for everyone who voted against him. And guess what? It was a bad night for everyone who voted for him too. You just don't realize it yet.
You know, I, I, I've worried more about the audience than I worry about him applauding all that, but I guess they know. So his support, he's in New York, right? You, you'll know all of this, right, John? He's in LA? I could have been going to a show all this time? I can go tonight? I think I'll pass. But we're too stupid to realize it yet. That's my favorite of his lines. But you geniuses, you know about what's going to happen exactly, and you know what's right. We're the stupid people. Yeah, poor people will suffer, the middle class. You know, Kamala Harris claimed she was part of the middle class, and I don't think so. Oh, did you see that blog shot? Someone did it on Facebook. I saw where now that she's lost, she needs a job, and you see her walking into McDonald's for a job, which will be her first time, obviously, because I don't think they ever proved that she worked at McDonald's. But that didn't stop her, you know, telling the truth was not one of her goals. But Social Security, I guess we're going to lose people who have Social Security. You're going to all lose your benefits. It was a terrible night for all of you. You just got to listen to these guys. And oh yeah, also part of my favorites, you guys tell the truth. You weren't a threat to democracy and decency locking up people who went into the Capitol to protest. You could call it a riot, but it wasn't an insurrection. And it was just some people, but some of them in solitary confinement. I mean, no, you're no threat to democracy. And decency. And I thought, but I was wrong, Sean, I was going to say I haven't watched, and I did say it, since Johnny Carson left. Because you never knew where Johnny Carson was. I would have guessed he was a liberal, but you never really could figure that out. He picked on both sides and he was genuinely funny. I would love to be a fly on the wall with these people. Wouldn't you guys love to be a fly on the wall to watch them? I'm sorry, I would love to watch their meltdown. Sean, you can answer that. Sean, or maybe even see what they really know about these issues. Would you? It doesn't make me look good, but wouldn't you like to watch them now suffering a little bit? He said he feels guilty watching them brings him such joy. That's what I'm saying. I wonder if I should repent that because, you know, it's not the decent thing to do. But I just, are they gonna move? They always threaten. I heard Bette Midler, she's one of the way out ones, I think she took down her account, whatever it was. Barbra Streisand years ago threatened to leave. They never leave. I wonder if it's 'cause this country is so great. Even maybe under Trump, the things you say, what Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of these people say, I catch clips, I don't watch these shows. Well, first of all, I saw her on tape saying, "The next president of the United States, Kamala Harris." These people— Dennis always asks this. Do they believe what they say? Do they really believe it?
