A military official credits strong White House leadership for record recruitment numbers and defends the current commander-in-chief's commitment to protecting citizens of all backgrounds. He rejects accusations of racism, saying he risks his own life to defend everyone.
Recruitment levels are up, and it's obvious why. They've got a leader in the White House. They've got a commander-in-chief that they want to serve, a commander-in-chief that isn't going to put them in harm's way unless it is necessary for America's interest. You got a commander-in-chief that aren't going to tell the vast majority of soldiers that happen to be white that are protecting your freedom Regardless of if you're Black, Latino, and Asian, I'm going to fight for you. But don't sit here and tell me I'm a racist when I'm risking your life, my life for you.
