New Covid Vaccine

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued a 90-day stop-work order on a $460 million HHS contract with biotech firm Vaxart to develop an oral COVID-19 vaccine. The project, part of a $4.7 billion Biden initiative, had already dispersed $240 million with $230 million now on hold. A trial involving 10,000 participants has been delayed.

Trump's HHS halts multimillion-dollar Biden-era contract to create a new COVID-19 vaccine. So you had RFK Jr. has halted a Biden-era contract to create this new vaccine. Um, he says, quote, while it is crucial that the Department of Health and Human Services support pandemic preparedness, 4 years of the Biden administration's failed oversight have made it necessary to review agreements for vaccine production, including Vaxxarts. Now keep that in mind, that isn't just a shot at the Biden administration. This is absolute truth. There was literally no oversight for monies or research when it came to COVID jabs, COVID vaccines, as well as virtually everything else, is what, is what we're finding out now through all of the things that are being exposed through Doge. RFK Jr. goes on. Quote, I look forward to working with Vaxart and medical experts to ensure this work produces safe, effective, and fiscal-minded vaccine technology. Now, that's some of the things that we've been wanting all along. Is it fiscally responsible? Is it safe? Is it effective? Is it really a vaccine, or is it a therapeutic, which many of these so-called vaccines turned out to be? The HHS, uh, contract according to Breitbart, is with American biotech company, uh, Vaxart, which has been developing a new COVID-19 vaccine that is taken orally. So Kennedy didn't terminate the contract, for all of you out there. Instead, the trial is paused. It's a 90-day pause to stop the work order, um, and that was issued on Friday. Uh, the stop work order came ahead of the beginning of a, of clinical trials on Monday with 10,000 individuals. So no oversight by the federal government. 10,000 individuals that were going to be lab rats for this vaccine, and it had not been reviewed by the Department of Health and Human Services. You got that? The contract is part of the Biden administration's $4.7 billion Project Next Generation Initiative, which it launched in 2023. They did so in order to streamline the development of new vaccines, according to the report. The Vaxart vaccine is funded through an agreement with BARDA. BARDA, B-A-R-D-A, is an acronym, and that stands for Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority. That comes under the department in the administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response in— within the HHS. Um, BARDA had obligated, uh, had obligated— excuse me— $460 million for the, uh, for the development of the, uh, of Vaxart's COVID-19 vaccine. $240 million had already been dispersed for the prelim— or for the preliminary study. Uh, however, the stop work order prevents the company from invoicing, or prevents, I'm sorry, Vaxart from invoicing BARDA, basically within the HHS, the remaining $230 million for clinical trials under further, until further notice. According to the report, Vaxart is still able to invoice HHS, excuse me, for medical monitoring of the people who took part in early trials. The pause comes less than 2 weeks after Kennedy's confirmation. All right, so this is a good thing. I mean, we're going to be spending all this money for vaccines and there's no telling, let's be honest, there's no telling how these people, Vaxart, and listen, I simply don't know. I'm not accusing Vaxart of anything, but do we know how these people were able to secure that money from the federal government, $490 million? More than half of it being paid out already, and no oversight by the HHS, just giving it out, cash to people.
