California's Legislative Analyst's Office found Governor Newsom cut $101 million from wildfire and forest-resilience funding in his 2024-25 budget. A 2021 investigation showed he claimed 90,000 acres of completed fuel-reduction work when only 11,399 were actually done.

Gavin Newsom, uh, the 20— uh, in, uh, the 2024-25 California state budget, uh, which Gavin Newsom signed into law in June of last year, slashed funding for wildfire and forest resilience by $101 million as part of a series of cutbacks. This according to an analysis by the state's Legislative Analyst's Office. Also There is this, uh, where is it? Alan Estrin sent me this. Okay, the Los Angeles wildfires, an avoidable tragedy. Where's this number? So Gavin Newsom— here it is. In 2021, an investigation found that Gavin Newsom had misled the public about the acreage of fuel reduction projects completed in the state. He said that there was a, uh, he said that they had completed 90,000, or he claimed. All right, he actually did 11,399 acres. So again, the governor just lied. Also, Zach, do we have that video clip? Can we play it? And you guys have seen this, of the, of the woman that confronted— the mother that confronted Gavin Newsom, and he went ahead and just straight up lied, said he was talking to Joe Biden on the phone. If we have it, can we roll it, Zach?
Governor, you got a second? Governor, governor, I live here. Governor, that was my daughter's school. Governor, please tell me what you're going to do. I'm not going to hurt him, I promise.
I'm literally talking to the president right now to specifically answer the question of what we can do for you and your daughter.
Can I hear it? Can I hear your call? Because I don't believe it.
I'm sorry, there's literally— I've tried 5 times. That's why I'm walking around to make—
Why is the president not taking your call? Because it's not going through.
—why?
So let's get it. Let's get it. I want to be here when you call the president. I appreciate it.
I'm doing that right now. And it's to immediately get reimbursements, individual assistance, and to help you out. I'm devastated for you. I'm so sorry, especially for your daughter. I have 4 kids. Losing a school—
Everyone who went to school there, they lost their homes. They lost 2 homes because they were living in one building and another. Governor, please tell me— tell me, what are you going to do with the president right now?
We're getting— We're getting the resources to help rebuild.
Why was there no water in the hydrants, Governor? It's all literally— Is it going to be different next time?
It has to be.
Has to be. Of course. What are you going to do? Fill the hydrants. I would fill them up personally. You know that. I literally— I would fill up the hydrants myself. But would you do that? I would do whatever I can. But you're not. I see the— Do you know there's water dripping over there, Governor? There's water coming out there. You can use it.
I appreciate it. I'm going to make the call to address everything I can right now, including making sure people are safe.
I'd like to make sure you do. Can I have an opportunity to at least tell people you're doing what you're saying you're doing? Could somebody have a contact? Can I have your contact information?
Okay, man, that lady had the audacity to believe that she's as important as a Delta smelt. Now, obviously that may come across wrong, but that's what social justice warriors do. So social justice warriors, they're interested in their agenda. They're interested in equity. They don't have time to worry about little people. They don't, they don't have time for that. They've got a goal in mind. They want to make sure that everything is fair. Hey, you're rich, your house burnt down, you're in Pacific Palisades. Not exactly the hood, even though there are some poor neighborhoods that are being burned down even as we speak. But these people don't prioritize people. They're social justice warriors. They're not servant leaders. They're not there to serve the people. Gavin Newsom looked that lady in the face. She lost her house, her kids lost her school, and he just straight up lied to her face. This guy should never have been elected. He destroyed San Francisco and then he was elected governor. He has so little respect for the voter that a lady loses her house, her home, and he lies right to her face. What a disgusting, despicable man.
