In this monologue, Dennis Prager critiques the reliability of Palestinian casualty reporting, highlights what he describes as false media narratives surrounding the Al‑Ahli Arab Hospital explosion, and argues that left‑wing media deliberately distort facts to serve ideological goals. He cites the Gaza Ministry of Health’s admission that one‑third of its reported 33,091 Palestinian deaths lack essential identifying data, and points to a U.S. intelligence assessment that the hospital blast was likely caused by a Palestinian rocket, with casualties estimated between 100 and 300 rather than the 500 claimed by early reports. Prager contends that leftist media prioritize political aims over truth, labeling peace as the enemy of the left regarding Israel and the broader Arab world. He praises Israel’s targeting of Hezbollah terrorists and references graphic accounts from a Daily Mail‑cited Lebanese doctor. Finally, he delivers a sweeping condemnation of Palestinians as a collective, calling them an “unimpressive group” responsible for unprecedented terrorism, while conceding the existence of commendable individuals. The overall narrative frames Palestinian sources as unreliable, leftist media as deceitful, and Israel’s actions as justified.

So April of this past year, from the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health said on April 6th that it had incomplete data for 11,371 of the 33,091 Palestinian fatalities it claims to have documented. So one-third of the number even they admit they can't identify. In the statistical report, the ministry notes that it considers an individual record to be incomplete if it is missing any of the following key points: identity number, full name, date of birth, or date of death. That's it. That's all. They don't even have that. The health ministry also released a report on April 3rd that acknowledges the presence of incomplete data but did not define what it meant by incomplete. On October 16th, the Health Ministry told global media— this is last year— that an Israeli airstrike was responsible. Some of you may remember this for an explosion that killed 500 Palestinians in the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in northern Gaza. U.S. media quickly reported the story, even though it became clear within hours there was no evidence to support claims of an airstrike or a death toll close to 500. Get that? There was nothing to support either an Israeli airstrike or the death toll, and, and the world's media went with it. Soon evidence emerged showing that a rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists was nearly certain to have caused the blast in the hospital's parking lot. An unclassified U.S. intelligence report on October 18th said the blast likely caused between 100 to 300 deaths, and it leaned toward casualty estimates, quote, at the low end of the 100 to 300 spectrum. The media, which are leftist, and therefore truth is not a left-wing value, and therefore they lie. It's not an issue. They don't ask what is true. They ask what comports with our aims socially, morally, politically. So Israel finally targets— or not finally, but Israel targets specific Hezbollah terrorists. And even then, even— did you see the Daily Mail report by a Lebanese doctor? I think it was the tragedy. Saw eyeballs hanging and so on. These are monsters. Did Israel ask for this? Peace is the enemy of the left, and with regard to Israel, peace is the enemy, and peace is the enemy of the Arab world with regard, or much of the Arab world, with regard to Israel. And the Muslim world, especially Iran. I will never, I will till my dying day be angry that Israel made October 7th possible by incompetence. But you can't be incompetent when, see, they lulled themselves, they believed that, oh, we'll keep bringing in people from Gaza to work for us and make a good living. And almost become members of the family, not knowing that all they were doing was drawing diagrams of each family's homes to know how to murder the families when Hamas would attack. It's an unimpressive group, the Palestinians. There are wonderful individual Palestinians, but as a totality, it is an unimpressive group. It has unleashed the greatest amount of terrorism in our lifetime.
