Well, it is what it is, and we have to fight it. And that's what I do every day. It's a sick world of the left. Sick. It's pathologic. It's pathologic. One of the things that PragerU is doing is PragerForce, 15,000 young people around the world. And on this final day of fundraising, I am interviewing a high school student who's in PragerForce in Brentwood, Tennessee, Matthew Mason. Matthew, it's a pleasure to meet you.
Thank you, Mr. Prager. It's great to be on your show.
Thank you. Tell me a little about yourself. Are you in a high school? Are you homeschooled? Which?
Um, well, I am of high school age, but I am currently being homeschooled.
At what age did you begin?
Um, kindergarten. I've always been homeschooled.
Oh, you've always been homeschooled. By the way, one of the reasons I immediately asked was you said Mr. Prager. That is very often a giveaway that somebody is actually— I don't have a problem with Dennis, but I do admire the way you were raised in that regard. Are you intending to go to a college?
Uh, yeah, I think I will go to college.
And are you aware, having been homeschooled, what colleges typically teach, or shall I say indoctrinate?
Yeah, I think I have because I've, you know, seen a lot of campus lectures and I stay pretty informed. But I am planning on probably going to one of the more conservative colleges. They're It's also Christian. I'm not planning on going to, you know, UC Berkeley or anything.
Right, okay, so in that sense, you're one of the few, actually, colleges— not even all Christian colleges have been untainted by "you don't know the gender of a child when it's born." Are you familiar with that argument, that there is no such thing as fixed gender?
Yeah, I am. It's kind of like the idea that, like, your mind is all that matters and your physical body doesn't matter. I mean, I don't find it very convincing, but I think that's the basis of it.
So how, being homeschooled, have you become aware of what's going on out there?
Well, I mean, I think how I'm more aware is that I— well, I listen to, you know, a lot of lectures. I listen to you. I listen to, you know, Charlie Kirk. Listen to Ben Shapiro, and you know, they talk about it a lot. So I think that's probably the main source of information I'm, you know, where I'm getting.
How did you discover PragerU?
Well, I was actually listening to a lecture by Charlie Kirk, and he mentioned PragerU during the lecture. So I checked it out. I loved your guys's videos, and I wanted to get involved, so I joined Prager Force.
Have you been at any meeting to meet other Prager Force members?
Well, I, I've been on virtual events. Um, I joined, um, this past summer in June, and obviously, um, there's been a lot of lockdowns already, so I don't think there's been a lot of, um, right, right. Yet there, there have been some—
there have been Zoom meetings.
Yes, I've done some Zoom meetings.
Oh, that's wonderful. Now, uh, do you have a way to through social media, mouth-to-mouth, Zoom-to-Zoom way of spreading word about our videos?
Oh yeah, I have a Twitter account. That's my main form of spreading, and I, I like to retweet your guys's, you know, videos and comment on things and such.
And I always ask this, and I'll just preface it by noting I always in, in years. It's amazing to me. I've always gotten a different answer. Do you have a favorite PragerU video?
Yes, I do.
Drum roll, please. Go ahead.
Okay, and it's the one that— it's one of the videos that you did. It's, um, I believe it's actually your most recent one. It's, um, How the Left Sees the World: Power, Race, and Class.
That's right, that has not been chosen yet. Power racing class. That's exactly— yes. All right, hold on with me, uh, just a couple of more questions. Uh, this, this young man will be spreading the word. PragerU.com, 833-PRAGER-U for the donation. And Sean Want you to know that there is a magnificent product out there called Relief Factor.
