PragerForce Members from Around the World

Dennis Prager talks with Emily, a Swedish conservative, and members from Singapore and New Zealand about whether rights come from God or individuals. Emily explains that Swedish conservatives value tradition and personal responsibility without religious belief, while Prager notes that PragerForce, unlike PragerU, doesn't require faith in God.

Well, thank God we're here, and thank God you're here. And Emily from Sweden?
Yeah, I'm in a political party in Sweden who is conservative, so there I'm with the people who think the same as me. But it's really nice to meet people from other countries also that share the same values.
Well, I, I, it would be hard for me to believe that there is one thing that they do share with you or our young man from Singapore, and that is a commitment to Judeo-Christian values. I just assume even conservatives in Sweden are very secular.
Yeah, they are. And, um, but we think the same in other questions, even though, right, many people aren't Christians or, yeah, believe in something, right? We believe in, like, traditions and low taxes and so on.
So So when we speak of American values and quote the Declaration of Independence of America, where they say that all men are created equal and they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So where would a Swedish conservative, or specifically you, believe our rights come from? If not a creator?
I think it comes from ourselves, actually. And it's like, even though we don't have any creator or God we think of and we believe in, we think that, yeah, we should be very good personalities and, yeah, do the best things. Because if you're a good person, yeah, that's good for you.
No, it is. All of that is true. Alright, so that way I'm just clarifying an area of where PragerU and America stand for, at least traditionally, that I think obviously it's a very few Swedish conservatives would agree. Yeah, do you see our videos on God? Are they of interest to you?
No, I don't really look at them so much because I'm not a believer myself, but yeah, I share the same values.
Even though I don't believe. That's why you're on Prager Force. We don't have a religious litmus test. And my friend from New Zealand, who is, ladies and gentlemen, wearing a shirt and jacket of all colors. It's sort of like Joseph and the coat of many colors. Where are you from in New Zealand? I'm from New Zealand, but unlike Joseph, I only have one brother, so Well, the fact that you even knew Joseph had more than one brother is impressive. The fact that you knew who Joseph was was not expected. Alright, we'll talk to you about New Zealand in a moment. First, we do in America what makes this possible, a commercial. Without these, I am up to my friends, yes, ReviewZone. ReviewZone, folks, is the only— wait, weight loss product that I have ever advertised to you because it's all natural. I spoke to doctors who have made this.
