In this brief interview, Dennis Prager speaks with 24‑year‑old filmmaker Will Witt about his PragerU short documentary “The Religion of Green.” Witt explains that the film argues environmentalism has become a substitute religion, a view that was reinforced after speaking with experts such as Michael Schellenberger and Alex Epstein, who cite scientific reports (including ICPP) to support the claim. Prager congratulates Witt on producing the 20‑minute documentary and urges viewers to watch it for free on prageru.com.

Will Witt, another terrific endeavor by him for PragerU. He's 24 years old and legitimately quite a star at PragerU. The piece, the documentary he's put out, your kids should see it. I mean, kids like, you know, if they're 30, 25, 20, 15. The Religion of Green. You, uh, you, you knew that this is a substitute religion from the beginning. Did making the documentary simply reinforce what you suspected?
It definitely did. Uh, talking with some of the experts who we talked to, like Michael Schellenberger, Alex Epstein, some of the people who are in the doc, just kind of reinforcing that really reinforced my views because these guys are actual scientists And for them to come on and say this has become a religion, because they've actually looked at the facts, they've looked at the ICPP reports, and for them to come on and say it's a religion really just emboldens everything that I had already thought.
Well, congratulations, Will. It's, it's, it's not easy to make a documentary, even if it's 20 minutes. You did a great job.
Thank you so much, Dennis. I really appreciate it.
You deserve it. Thank you. So go to prageru.com and see it. It's all free.
