In this monologue, Dennis Prager laments the decline of true education, arguing that it should transmit the cultural and literary gifts of past generations—such as Beethoven, Shakespeare, and the Bible—to youth, but instead modern schooling produces "ignoramus" students. He then attacks major tech platforms (Google, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook) for suppressing free discourse, especially when left‑wing political forces demand content removal. Prager criticizes the Democratic Party for failing to defend liberty and notes the absence of such criticism in Senator Tim Scott’s speech. He pivots to a personal anecdote about attending a Los Angeles Kings hockey game under strict COVID‑19 protocols: limited attendance, mandatory vaccination or test proof, no food inside, standing‑only eating, and mandatory masks despite empty seats. He uses this experience to illustrate what he sees as absurd, authoritarian public‑health measures. Finally, Prager highlights President Joe Biden’s appearance at a Zoom summit with world leaders as the sole masked participant, framing it as an embarrassing, “ashamed‑to‑be‑American” moment that signals weakness to foreign observers.

The purpose of education is to distill the greatest and give it to the next generation, as it's a gift from the past generation. Beethoven is a gift to me. Shakespeare is a gift. The Bible is a gift. Instead, ignoramuses are teaching your children to be ignoramuses. Liberty? Said to a kid, give me liberty or give me death, he would laugh at it. What, are you nuts? I'll take non-liberty any day. I, I was somewhat naive. I, I really did believe that Americans as a whole, with the exceptions of a few leftists, valued liberty. And when I look at the people who run Google, YouTube, TikTok, owned by communist Chinese government, and Twitter and Facebook, nearly all of whom grew up in America or came here for freedom and then suppress it? I, I'm, I, I'm stunned, actually. I shouldn't be stunned, but I, I am. You are given the ability to allow free discourse in the world And if you differ with it, you take it down. Or better, if the Democratic Party, the left-wing party, differs with it, you take it down. Not much in either speech about that, unfortunately. Did Tim Scott mention the suppression of freedom? I don't remember. He— it was a fine speech he gave, but it was— he didn't include that, and he should have. All right, let's hear what the President of the United States had to say in this embarrassing, humiliating, ashamed-to-be-an-American moment of looking at a bunch of adults act like babies. Oh, let's bump elbows. But wait, we're both vaccinated. Doesn't matter. Why should people get a vaccine if it doesn't change any behavior afterwards? Get a vaccine, but hey, continue to wear a mask. Get a vaccine, but you know, distance seating. Listen to this. I got a text from a dear friend of mine. Went to a hockey game. The Los Angeles Kings. That's the hockey team in LA, obviously. So I'd like you— he of course took a picture, which I can't put here, but here. Went to the Kings game Monday PM. Bizarre. 1,500 allowed in, maybe 800 showed up. 20,000 capacity. We had to show either a recent COVID test result or vaccinated or vaccination card. A recording of fans talking and cheering was broadcast throughout the arena. Is that mind-blowing? This is the stuff of science fiction. We couldn't bring food inside. Why is that? Do you have any idea why that is? Limited concessions, and we had to eat while standing. That's a new one. You get it? Needless to say, no desire to return until things change. Also had to wear masks even though there wasn't anyone around us for 50 feet. That's an enjoyable experience, I got to tell you. The, the sick and the scared. The sick, the scared. I wish I had another word that began with S for totalitarian or tyrant, but I don't. The sick, the scared. And the power-loving are in charge. See the picture of the President of the United States at a forum with world leaders by Zoom, the only one wearing a mask? So here's the question: Do you think foreign leaders said, wow, America is really being run by a sensitive man, or wow, what a wimp.
