The Dennis Prager Show LIVE

Dennis Prager takes calls on the Cleveland Indians rebranding, COVID skepticism, big tech surveillance, and the Virginia governor's race. He discusses Hunter Biden bribery allegations, the Extortion 17 helicopter shoot-down documentary, and a New Jersey school removing holiday names from its calendar.

Hi everybody, Dennis Prager here. Good to be with you. Happens once a year, your birthday, and this is my once a year. I will say that turning 21 is more exciting. Birthdays, birthdays have a different form of meaning at different times of your life. However, as bizarre as it sounds, but anyone who knows me knows it's true, and someone who knows me very, very, very well, and someone who knows me very, very well is here. Notice that, gentlemen. One of you knows me very, very, very well, and one very, very well know that my inner nature is 21. I'm actually— oh, I'm not looking forward to it, but I am still awaiting the time when I feel anywhere approximate to my age. I'm very blessed in that way. This is not a boast, it is just a fact. I feel very lucky that this is true, but it is. Anyway, uh, in light of my birthday being August 2nd, we do We have inaugurated August as fundraising month for Prager University, and if it's just to help us keep everything free, the largest non-left video site on earth with a billion views a year, most of them under 35 years of age, please help us out at prageru.com or 833-PRAGER-U if you'd like to just honor me on my birthday I'm very touched, and that would be a particularly wonderful way to do so. Okay, everybody, Dennis Prager here. That you knew already. And we're back to masks. Is this now, uh, is this now national? What is the mask? I'm not quite certain. The CDC is recommending it, but it is not yet a national policy. I know in, in where I live, it's, it's been— I don't know if the word is mandated, but it's been mandated indoors. You have to wear a mask even if you're vaccinated. It turns out the Fauci— Dr. Fauci said that you are as likely to carry a viral load if you are in— if you are vaccinated as if you are not. So you ask the logical question, then why get vaccinated? And they, they offer the idea that you will get less sick if you are vaccinated, but you are just as likely to transmit it, apparently. I, I, my friends, they say whatever they want to say on any given day. Masks were useless, Dr. Fauci said in the beginning. The New England Journal of Medicine had a report that they were useless. However, the New England Journal of Medicine writers came under intense pressure to add an addendum— somewhat redundant adding an addendum— but to add an addendum later that of course they didn't mean to discourage people from wearing masks. There isn't much honesty in the medical profession. Here's another proof for you today. I'm just seeing this as I read this to you. Remove sex from public birth certificates, the American Medical Association says. This is from WebMD. Sex should be removed as a legal designation on the public part of birth certificates, the American Medical Association said Monday. Requiring it can lead to discrimination and unnecessary burden on individuals whose current gender identity does not align with their designation at birth. They won't even say with their biology. It's like, I designate you Dennis, but if you don't want the name Dennis, then you take James. It's designated, it doesn't exist. American Medical Association is the ACLU with the word medical in it. That's all it is. The left is ruining science with the speed of light, as it ruins everything else it touches. I say this every day because I bring an example every day, usually more than one example. If you don't fight the left, you are helping destroy civilization as we know it, okay? The issue is no longer not to be on the left. The issue is to be anti-left. I'm inverting exactly what they claim. It's not enough not to be racist, you have to be anti-racist. Fine. By the way, I am anti-racist. I'll take that deal. I'm anti-racist and I'm anti-left. In fact, I'm anti-left in large measure because I am anti-racist. Because the only systemic racism in the country is on the left. This, this actually is as scary and damning a headline as I have read to you, and I do that regularly. A person's sex designation at birth would still be submitted to the U.S. standard certificate of live birth for medical, public health, and statistic and statistical use only. Willie Underwood III, MD, author of Board Report 15, explained that a standard certificate of live birth is critical for uniformly collecting and processing data, but the government issues birth certificates to individuals. According to the report, 48 states—Tennessee and Ohio are the exceptions—and the District of Columbia allow people to amend their sex designation on their birth certificate certificate to reflect their gender identities. Let me understand this. Oh, Tennessee and Ohio. Oh, Tennessee and Ohio do not allow you to do that. Ohio, that's an interesting one. But only 10 states allow for a gender-neutral designation, usually X, on birth certificates. The State Department does not currently offer an option for gender-neutral designation on U.S. passports. Assigning— listen to this. This is— this— and this guy, this is an MD. He's author of the board report. Assigning sex using binary variables. If I asked this guy, how are you, how are you, would he speak this way? Does he talk this way in normal— in normal life? Assigning sex using binary variables in the public portion of the birth certificate fails to recognize the medical spectrum of gender identity. Ooh. Jeremy Toler, MD, a delegate from GLMA. I assume that's Gay and Lesbian Medical Association. That's a— that's what we call an intelligent guess, but I don't know. Health professionals advancing LGBTQ equality said transgender, gender non-binary, and individuals with differences in sex development can be placed at a disadvantage by the sex label on the birth certificate. We unfortunately still live in a world where it is unsafe— that's their key word, unsafe— in many cases for one's gender to vary from the sex assigned at birth. Okay, so now you know about the AMA. Robert Jackson, MD, an alternate delegate from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, spoke against the measure. "We as physicians need to report things accurately," Jackson said. All through medical school, residency, and specialty training, we were supposed to delegate all of the physical findings of the patient we're taking care of. I think when the child is born, they do have physical characteristics, either male or female. And I think that probably should be on the public record. That's just my personal opinion. Sarah Mae Smith, MD, delegate from California, speaking on behalf of the Women's Physicians Section, said removing the sex designation is important for moving toward gender equity. But is it true? That's the point. Is it science? We'll be back. Don't you get tired of commercials screaming at you to buy gold now with inflated promises on future values? In an unregulated industry, you need honest, real experts to give you solid advice to protect your wealth and top picks on the best coins and bullion based on real-time data and historical trends. For example, as environmental policy becomes a hot topic, one precious metal that's been significantly undervalued for years is potentially set to surge. Nick Grovich, owner of AMFED Coin and Bullion, has long recommended this precious metal. Up to 600,000 ounces of this rare metal will be needed by 2030 to produce green hydrogen. Nick is doubling down on this pick, and you should too. Call Nick at AmFed Coin and Bullion to find out more. I've been friends with Nick for years, and he's my go-to guy when it comes to coins and bullion. I trust him. He is a good and very knowledgeable man. Call Nick at 800-221-7694. 800-221-7694. The biggest story nationally is that Nancy Pelosi is attempting a coup in the House of Representatives. The speaker has never been nonpartisan as they are in the British Parliament, but they have always respected party rule of their own caucuses and committee assignments, etc. Nancy Pelosi, having lost the effort to get an independent commission established for January 6th, that didn't get through the Senate because it was a not fair piece of law and therefore it's languishing. She decided to put together her own committee. Again, that's her prerogative as the speaker of the majority party. She usurped one of the positions on— it's not a fair split. Normally it would be 13 members, 7 Democrats, 6 Republicans. The leader of the Republicans would name the 6. Speaker Pelosi took 8 of the seats and named Republican Liz Cheney. People kind of thought about that for a while. They didn't like the precedent of the speaker putting a member on, but they overlooked it. And Kevin McCarthy named 5 other members, including ranking minority member Jim Banks, a friend of mine from Indiana, who is a relative newcomer, but he is the largest elected member of a caucus in the House of Representatives. Jim Banks leads the Republican Study Committee, has broad and deep support in the House caucus. And then 4 other people to go along with Liz Cheney. And Nancy Pelosi vetoed Jim Banks and Jim Jordan, and the Republicans are out. Never before even considered. The most radical thing by a person who is alleged to be investigating radical behavior. Nancy Pelosi never misses a chance to miss a chance to be hyper-partisan and destroyed by partisanship. There will be no panel. There'll be a Nancy Pelosi circus.

My girlfriend and my best friend You got 30 days to grow up, son. Nathan Hanning, it is good to have you home. Donuts, Nathan. Inaugurated August 2nd, years ago, with my birthday today. Amazing how many people write me that it's their birthday too, which makes perfect sense. If you have a large enough database, you get a lot of people with the same birthday. I do want to remind you about Pure Talk, ladies and gentlemen, because it's a great value. I, I couldn't believe it. $30 a month and you get unlimited text, unlimited talk, 6 gigabytes of data. I thought, no, it's probably not as good as Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile. Turns out it's the same. Just save about $800 a year per family. That's how good it is. I got a phone through them. I got their service. It all works out. You can keep your phone and keep your number, by the way. That, that's fine. But if you want to get a brand new phone at a great price, I would use PureTalk as well. Very simple, just do #250. Dial #250. #250 and say Dennis Prager. #250. Pure Talk. Okay, y'all, Dennis Prager here. Now let me ask you a question. If the medical, the medical establishment announced, as it did last year, that masks are very important, however, if you're demonstrating for racial justice, uh, vast numbers of you, that's more important, so you don't need a mask. If the medical profession announces that there aren't male and female in the human species that, as one doctor at the AMA said, it's a, it's a spectrum. Of course, there's no, there's no binary gender. There is binary gender among all mammals and primates, just not, not, not the human one. Notice that. And these are scientists. They have been corrupted. So here's my question: why listen to them about COVID if they lie about sex, one of the most basic things on Earth? If they lie about masks and protests, why would you— why do you believe for a moment they're telling you the truth about vaccinations or about masks? I'm not saying they're lying. I'm just saying, why would you believe them? I don't believe anything the AMA says. I don't believe anything Fauci says. I don't believe anything the CDC says. There is no reason to believe them. They don't always lie. No liar always lies. But they have an agenda beyond science. That's why they lie. Get it? There was something much, much, much higher for Walensky and the others than science. It's being, as they call today, woke. Progressive politics is infinitely more important than science. Science is nothing. Progressive politics is everything. Get it? We are in the early dark ages where religious doctrine trumped science. Today it is non-religious doctrine that trumps science. Why do you believe anything they say? Do you believe that children are not born male or female? Do you believe that? If not, they're lying to you for the sake of being progressive. I don't believe anything they say. That's it. There's no reason to believe anything they say. They have changed their minds. Lancet was caught lying last year. The Journal of the American Medical Association— they all do because science is not their priority. This is a tragedy, and I assume relatively new. But if somebody were to— if you're not vaccinated and someone asks you why, you just tell them you have zero reason to trust medical authorities in this country. That's it. You're not anti-vax. Just say that, and it's an honest answer. I don't know when to believe them. They don't tell me the truth about anything. You're vaccinated, but you should wear a mask. Does that make any sense to any of you? You had the virus, but you should still get vaccinated. Does that make any sense to any of you? Or is there a ton of money in Big Pharma that trickles over to the CDC. Sometimes it's, uh, this is a crisis of truth in the realm of science. I don't believe them. Last week I read to you from Bari Weiss. God bless Bari Weiss, the courageous woman who left the New York Times because the New York Times is not a truth teller. They lie as much as the medical profession. Med schools are now denying biological sex. Professors are apologizing for saying male and female. Students are policing teachers. This is what it looks like when activism takes over medicine. You know, during a recent endocrinology course at a top medical school in the University of California system, A professor stopped mid-lecture to apologize for something he'd said at the beginning of class. "I don't want you to think that I am in any way trying to imply anything, and if you can summon some generosity to forgive me, I would really appreciate it," the physician says in a recording provided by a student. By the way, you want— you want to make America better? You want to fight back? Have your kids record everything said in their college class, high school class. And medical school and law school. Why would that be wrong? Why is that morally even problematic? If teachers want hidden from the world what they say to students, they're cowards. I taught at college. Kids asked me then, can I record you? And I remember asking, why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't I want what I say here heard by others? I'm proud of what I say here. Have your kid record. It's effortless, right? It's effortless to record a speech. Have your kid do it. You're paying that much money? Would you want to know what, what the so-called teachers are saying? Anyway, this was recorded. Again, I'm very sorry for that. It was certainly not my intention to offend anyone. The worst thing I can do as a human being is be offensive. His offense? Using the term pregnant women. What should a physician say now? Pregnant birthing person. Birthing person. Back in a moment.

There's been talk about potentially people advocating at the federal level imposing compulsory masks on kids. We're not doing that in Florida. Okay.
At the end of the day, we're not doing that in Florida.
We're not doing it anywhere that I have anything to say with it because it's silly and it's stupid and it doesn't work. Kids touch their faces. Kids take those masks off. Have you ever seen kids with masks? It's just not a very smart thing. I also want to run down the fact that a booster shot is likely to be necessary. It's going to be signaled by the CDC's advisory group. U.S. median home price hit a new record. In June of $363,300 as sales increased 14% year over year on strong demand. President Biden is going to be the kiss of death for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. Hi there, all. I unfortunately predicted this decades ago when the arguments were made for same-sex marriage, the key argument was gender doesn't matter. That was the, that was the key argument. Love is love. Gender doesn't matter. That was the argument that, that worried me. And I was right. Now you see what happens when you believe gender doesn't matter. We slid from gender doesn't matter to gender doesn't exist, which by the way is almost synonymous. If something has no importance, has no effect, has no consequence, makes no difference, then it doesn't matter if it exists or not, correct? And this is what has been taught for decades, and now we see the fruit of it. The AMA has come out against sex on your birth certificates. That's the American Medical Association. Rafael in Altadena, California says birth certificates should say double X or XY, the chromosomes, not male or female. They wouldn't even allow that. They don't— the AMA does not— the left does not believe— AMA and left are synonymous now— does not, does not believe that XX or XY matter. You can have XY and say you're a female. There are no solutions. The only solution is to overthrow the left in every arena of life. Is for some doctors to courageously say the AMA is corrupt morally and medically. However, doctors have as much courage as any other profession, not less, not more. And since courage is the rarest of the human traits, courage is rare among doctors. That's it. It's not anti-doctor, it's anti-human. Humans are weak. Some aren't, and they give me strength just as I give you strength. Meeting wonderful people— wonderful includes courageous— is a wonderful part of life, perhaps the best. And this is, uh, what it is. David in Irvine, California, hello. Hey, can you hear me? I can.
All right, well, you were recently talking about recording, um, the teachers and professors and the like, um, and in California you can't legally record audio without both parties' consent. However, since they are government employees, teachers, police, and bureaucrats, you can always record them. Private school teachers, maybe they have private rules where where you can't. But if you're dealing with— shit, I'm sorry about that.
What's your dog's name?
His name is Jake and he doesn't like landscapers and it's my escaping day. I'm sorry. Anyway, the point is that if you're dealing with a teacher, a public school teacher, or police or bureaucrats, you can Zoom record them. You can record their audio.
We record police officers, right? Why can't we record record teachers.
No, absolutely. That's exactly my point.
Yes, it is. And I salute you for it. That's ex— I love it. I hadn't thought about it, right? You didn't get the policeman's permission to record, but you can. That's perfect. A perfect example. Anyway, the notion that you need somebody's permission, two parties' permission, is in private conversation. I understand that. A public lecture is not private conversation. Please have your kids record what goes on in class. The anti-American, anti-truth indoctrination that permeates our schools will become clear to you, and then hopefully you will remove your child from school. Anyway, why would you send your child to a school this coming year to have another year of masks? The, the, the biggest reason for most parents is the option seems so daunting. The option of homeschooling, it is daunting, but you find out how to do it, it becomes less daunting. It'll change your whole life for the better. It'll, it'll help you have a much greater guarantee of a kind, intellectually alive son or daughter. I meet homeschoolers and it is clear that they were homeschooled. You know how? By their simple joy of life. Want me greater joy of life? I have something for you. Relief Factor. Relief Factor, which is currently making its way through my system as it does every single day, is a miracle supplement. Can't say drug because drug implies over-the-counter. It is safe. Take it as long as you want. It's an anti-inflammatory that relieves people of joint and muscle pain. It is a phenomenon, this product. That's why you hear the ads so often. If it doesn't work in 3 weeks, they say, it probably won't work. So try it for 3 weeks for $20 special price. Doesn't work? Cancel the order. ReliefFactor.com, 800-500-8384.

This is Hugh Hewitt for townhall.com. We are living in the Age of Surveillance Capitalism. That's the title of a book by Shoshana Zuboff whose thinking has shaped my own as we look on the growing power of big tech. The biggest flaw in most tech companies' business models is a general willingness to loot an individual's personal information, and thus his or her privacy, without payment for this data and without informed consent. Did you know that a small percentage of apps provide your consent to remotely turn on your phone's microphone and record you after you sign their terms and conditions? I imagine your response is like mine: "What? I'd never agree to that!" I am certain a hard line on personal privacy would have a greater appeal to the public than many other issues currently separating the parties. Watch that vast uncharted space in which party moves to restore data that has been taken and to repair walls of privacy that were breached long ago. Whoever gets there first will be a long-term winner.

You've heard more science from me than you have for most doctors in this country with regard to COVID. It is a tragedy. It is not only not a boast, it is a condemnation. Here's an example. Today is a birthday gift to me. Today in the Jerusalem Post, Israeli scientist says COVID-19 could be treated for under $1 a day. Yep, that's what I've been telling you for well over a year, and I've been doing it. Double-blind, double-blind study. Your ignorant doctor is against ivermectin. Ignorant is the— that's the charitable exclamation. Dennis Prager, because, uh, he doesn't know about so many of the studies that have taken place. Double-blind study, and, and argues, oh, we don't have a double-blind study for ivermectin. Shows ivermectin reduces disease's duration and infectiousness. Ivermectin could help reduce the lung— the length of infection for people who contract coronavirus for less than a dollar a day. According to recent research by Sheva, or Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, Professor Eli Schwartz, founder of the Center for Travel Medicine and Tropical Disease at Sheva, conducted a randomized controlled double-blinded trial from May 15, 2020 through the end of January 2021 to evaluate the effectiveness of ivermectin ivermectin in reducing viral shedding among non-hospitalized patients with mild to moderate COVID-19. Ivermectin has been approved by the US FDA since 1987. That's 13 plus 21 is 34 years it's been, it's been approved. The drug's discoverers were awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Medicine. I mentioned that last week. So what do you say about that? Yeah, dollar a day, my friends. That's why they hate it. Doesn't make pharmaceutical companies billions of dollars. Let's put this study up, okay? Put it up at thedennisprager.com. By the way, the author of the article is sort of a hysteric on the issue, so it's even more powerful. I keep— I, I follow the Jerusalem Post. And this author is quite, uh, is quite the purveyor of panic on COVID. But here, to this— I, I think it's a female— to her credit, that she is— she has reported this story. You want to reduce, uh, COVID with no masks and no vaccines? Then take it in advance as a prophylactic. But it's very non— uh, it's not sexy. Ivermectin vaccine, woo! Vaccine. Oh, a second vaccine? No, no, no, a booster dose for the, for the variant. How many exactly are you prepared to take? Maybe, maybe there is no upper limit. All right. All is good. And, uh, Jim in Orlando, Florida.
Hello, Dennis, what a pleasure. Thank you. Um, girl and boy are disappearing from birth certificates, husband and wife, man, woman from marriage licenses. My question is this: how soon will we be prohibited from saying yes, sir? And yes, ma'am.
Oh, it will go, uh, the way of Mrs. Nobody says Mrs. anymore. It's all Ms. And soon it will be frowned upon because if you say yes, sir, or call over the waitress and say ma'am, can I, can I trouble you for another glass of water, you will be implying that you know the sex of that person. Without that person having informed you of their preferred pronoun. Do you know why people fight these battles? In large measure because their, their lives are empty. These are people without meaning who have found meaning. They're overwhelmingly secular. They need meaning. In the vast, vast null and void created by the absence of God. Now, I'm not saying they're all atheists. They're secular. They may believe— they may say they believe in God and think they do. But of course, I always have a question that lets me know if we believe in the same God. At all? Has your God revealed his will, or if you prefer, her will, in any text? If you didn't, then what you believe in is something you made up. Might be beautiful, but you made it up. Now, of course, you could think we made it up too. That's correct. But at least I have a belief in a text given by God. The Ten Commandments to begin with? If God didn't reveal his will, how the hell do you know anything he wants you to do? Because you've made it up. You can't say, I made up the Ten Commandments. Genesis 1:1 is, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. When you drop 1:1, you end up with 1:2. 2, and all was null and void. Chaos. I think Genesis 1:1 is the most important verse in the Bible, and Genesis 1:2 is the second most important verse in the Bible. Yeah, without Genesis 1:1, you end up with Genesis 1:2—chaos. We have massive chaos in our secular world, and it That nullness and voidness, as Genesis 1:2 is translated, creates the need to find meaning without Genesis 1:1. So they fight male and female.

You have an answer? I'm looking to my producer. Yeah, you could— why don't we have Zoom schools that actually teach and not indoctrinate? Yes. So the answer from my producer is, why doesn't the caller start one.
I'm a cop. You're a cop.
I, I, I, I think it's an unrealistic answer. I think, I think he— how could he find the right teachers? Uh, I don't know who could start it, but I think the idea is superb.
Great ideas, huh? There are a lot of great ideas out there.
All right, all right. My, um, my producer was tough man to impress, and I love that about him, by the way. It's a great, it's a great idea. Yeah, but I, I don't know why. Okay, I love the idea. It does not strike me as over, over the top. You— there's no limit to the number of kids, but somebody has to grade their papers, obviously. I would like homeschoolers, people homeschooling their kids, to let me know. There must be something analogous. It's so— the idea seems so simple, not simplistic, that I don't know. We've already started Zoom. People are used to it. It's very interesting. I mean, to a certain extent, obviously not nearly to that extent, we have that with PragerU and all its courses. You can fill a kid's life now with the 500 videos that we've already put out by some of the world's greatest thinkers, many of them amazingly professors. I say amazingly because many professors are fools. Not all are, and we try to find them. That's, uh, look, as the great Hebrew saying goes, what is certain is certain. What is certain is schools have been corrupted. They no longer teach, they indoctrinate. And just on a, on a social basis, you want your kids wearing a mask for another year?

Hey Sebastian, thanks so much for having me.
I gotta ask you, because I haven't seen the boss in a couple of weeks, how excited is he to be back on the campaign trail?
Oh, oh, he's loving it.
He can't wait to get back out there, and you could feel it. You could see it on Saturday. The people won it. I don't know if you saw those crowds, but waiting for— since Friday, thousands of people. Doesn't exactly look like someone who lost the state of Arizona, by the way. But this speech is— that clip you played, that was also one of my favorites, when, you know, the only good thing about the Biden campaign were those perfectly drawn circles for the 6 fake news media to sit in, and they definitely were not drawn by Hunter Biden. I think President Trump literally hit everything. Uh, he hit all the major issues. He talked about the rigged and stolen election. He talked about what's happening to our country, uh, and the people are responding. Our movement is growing. And yes, I can tell you, he's so happy to be back out there, and he's not going anywhere.

We go from the sublime to the ridiculous, don't we? We see headlines, Cleveland Indians change the team name to the Guardians. I don't know why that cracks me up so much, but it does. I, I don't want the Cleveland Indians to ever win another baseball game for the rest of their existence. That's so stupid. There won't be any more— there won't be any more Cleveland Indians. Indians is offensive, so they change the name. So now we got the Washington baseball team. Now we got the Cleveland Guardians with this stupid logo. That's what— that's what's important to people at a time when the country is headed in the wrong direction?

Billions of dollars have been spent creating housing for the homeless, and all you're doing is inducing other people from other states to come to California. Enjoy our wonderful weather and the compassionate way that we treat homelessness and get a free home. And until you deal with the underlying reason, Carl, why people in the streets in the first place, none of this matters. I urge us to get the pastors involved, get the churches involved. They know what to do. They know how much better to deal with this than can a government. Right now the governor is hostile towards churches, right?
Oh yeah, right.
They were handing all these mandates down, letting people not worship. Many of these people schizophrenic. The person that was hitting the baseball bat on the sidewalk, that person sounds like he's a danger to himself and to others. And I'm sorry, those people need to be physically picked up. And then the rest of them have alcohol problems or drug problems, and they need to be treated. Now what we've done with Proposition 47, the idea was, okay, if somebody goes in and steals $950, they ought not be put in jail. Many of them are stealing money to support their drug or alcohol habit. Let's not throw them in jail. But without the threat of throwing them in jail, Why would they go into treatment, which was the goal behind Proposition 47? So they're not going into treatment. They go, why should I go into treatment? What happens if I don't? Well, nothing. You don't go to jail. Okay, I'll steal $950 every single day, by the way, to support my drug habit without having to go into treatment. You remove the threat of making people go to jail, there's no reason why they ought to go to treatment. And then if we get them to become self-sufficient, where are they gonna live? We don't have low-cost apartments, low-cost housing. That's because there's been hostility against people who are building homes. When I become governor, I'm gonna suspend CQA. That's the California Quality Control Act that has allowed anybody, virtually for virtually any reason, to file a lawsuit to stop almost anything. That's why so much of our housing is so expensive.

I was pretty confident, like 95%, before I went to Trump Tower a few weeks ago to see the boss. After I met with him, it was 98% that he's running for reelection. When is he going to make it official, Liz?
I wish I could break news with you. Yes. And your great show, Sebastian. But no, that is his news to make. It is his decision. But as he said several times recently, He thinks that the people will be very pleased with the decision that he has made. Good. All right.
So here's the big question. The rallies are great. He clearly gets lots of energy from it. People are re-energized after the events of last November. It's clear from the crowds in Arizona and elsewhere that, you know, it was just a sham. What is the message from the Save America PAC, from you, from the, the, the Trump upper tier to those Americans— and there's a lot of them because I receive the DMs, they comment on my social media— who just say, that's it, I'm not going to even bother to vote anymore because they stole it last time and I'm not going to let them steal it again. And there's just no point.
Well, we have to be unified and we can't let them steal it from us. I mean, if we just sit back and do nothing, then they will have won. They will have gotten away with the most corrupt, rigged, fraudulent election in history. And that's why the president is not giving up. That's why we're still fighting for these audits. That's why we see these great patriots in Arizona, in Georgia. Now Pennsylvania is moving, Wisconsin's moving. We cannot give up on this.

Hey, hey everybody, I'm Dennis Prager. Good to be with you. A reminder, August 2nd is my birthday and we inaugurate— we inaugurated it early this year because I'm going to Hungary on Wednesday to give some speeches. But we inaugurate fundraising month for PragerU, so it would be a nice, if I can say it, nice birthday gift if you helped the organization which has my Uncle Murray's name, PragerU. We're doing a lot of good and we're fighting for the West. And for freedom and for America. Anyway, that's easy. PragerU.com, 833-PRAGER-U. One of the reasons I suspect that Olympics watching is down— I mean, there are many reasons. One is empty stadiums are a bummer. I actually, I feel for many of the athletes to to be honest. It's, it's like playing in a graveyard. For the record, I, you know, if I had any interest and they said, oh, okay, look, if you want to take the risk, come and see an event, I would have gone without a mask with the public. I've done it since the beginning of the lockdown. And I think in March of 2020, I spoke at a rally to open up Los Angeles in front of City Hall in Los Angeles. No mask, hugging dozens, dozens of strangers also with no masks. People are just scared. The, the— I told you, the last year and a half has been one of the great learning opportunities of my life. Nothing I learned is happy. That's the problem. The ability to brainwash people is so easy that I did not think it was possible in a free society to brainwash people. However, thanks to Twitter and Facebook and Google and YouTube suppressing all dissent, or nearly all dissent, the ease with which people can be brainwashed cannot be overstated. Also, that was one revelation to to me that a free society can have a controlled press, pure propaganda. That the— another, another revelation of the year is that all you need to manipulate people is fear. That's the biggest, that's the best one. Fear. Fear. In this case, first it was fear Trump. Based on nothing, absolutely nothing. The man is, is a raving Jeffersonian Democrat compared to the Democratic Party and to the New York Times and the others. And fear of COVID Fear. That's it. That's all you need. I see people wearing masks outdoors. And I realize how effective irrational fear is. On a personal note, I have told you for a long time, since I am very open about myself, when I think about being on a plane going down— I admit that not everybody thinks about it, but I don't think— I don't dwell on it at all. Just if I think about it, The thing that I fear most is not dying. It's the screaming and panic on board the plane. I, I hate screaming and panic, and the left are screamers and panickers. They're panic inducers. They're afraid and they spread the fear. So anyway, that was all on my total willingness to go to an Olympics game with a crowd of people. Isn't it amazing when you think about it? Nothing is left to individual choice except abortion. Nothing is left to individual choice. How about if you want to take the risk and show up at an Olympic event do so. But of course they'll say, ah, but then they'll catch COVID and spread it to others. So how about you go to an Olympic event, you get tested? I don't know. Anyway, there's another reason for the lack of watching of the Olympics, at least for Americans. When we see our athletes crap on the country, I actually was thrilled that the American women's soccer team lost. I mean, they lost to another unfree society, Canada. But the Canadian women's team, I don't think craps on Canada as much as the American team craps on America. Megan Rapinoe, the best known of their players, is truly an objectionable human being. How could I root for her? By the way, it takes a lot for me not to root for an American team. Then you get this very troubled woman shot putter stands on the platform, totally violating IOC rules, by the way. You cannot make political gestures medal ceremony. They've allowed it otherwise, which was a stupid thing, but the IOC, somewhat like Germany, is always wrong. There's some institutions and places that are just always wrong. The IOC has been always wrong throughout its history. International Olympic Committee. So they decided this year you can make political gestures, but at least Not when you get your medal. But of course, American leftists don't believe that rules apply to them because they are, they are finer human beings. So this woman crosses her arms above her head as in an X to show that everything is intersectionality, and she did it on behalf of all the oppressed of the world. Now she is gay, black, and what was the— oh, and depressed, been suicidal. She's— that's why I said a troubled soul. She is obviously— she acknowledges being a troubled soul. But what has happened in America is if you're a troubled soul, you don't look within, you look without. That's the key of what the left has done with young people. You're unhappy, It's America's fault. And if you are not white, it's white's fault. That is what is taught to your kids at school. That's why you should take them out. Reason number 846. So that's what this, this Raven Saunders— most high-profile protest yet in Tokyo. The woman has been given more than 99.9% of humanity as she stands on the platform. She's oppressed. How exactly is she oppressed? Are gays oppressed in America? Are blacks oppressed? Are athletes oppressed? Are the depressed oppressed? All of her categories of identification, are any of them oppressed? She said her aim was to encourage openly gay athletes. Encourage them to do what? Isn't Megan Rapinoe gay? Has she exactly been in the closet? And black people to be like her, to be honest with themselves and with others. Hmm. Crossing of her wrists, the intersection of where all people who are oppressed meet. Well, I want to tell you, that really helped all the people oppressed in the world. Yes, indeed. Think about it. I wonder if she had in mind the people of Cuba. There really are some people oppressed in the world. People of Venezuela, Nicaragua, just to name the left-wing regimes in the Americas. What about the people of communist China? Did she have the people of North Korea, the most oppressed people on the face of the earth? She have them in mind? Who did she have in mind? I'm Would be interesting to ask, name the 5 most oppressed people in the world, Raven. But I— the key to her story is the woman is depressed, clinically depressed, suicidal, but the left has taught her her problems are of an external nature because she is depressed and suicidal. Because of America. That's it. That's the way people are taught. It's funny because she said be honest with themselves. She should be honest with herself. Her problems do not emanate from oppression by her fellow Americans.

We cannot give Hey, yes indeed, yes, that's me. I'm Dennis Prager. By the way, a reminder Good people are in 3 groups, as you know: those who fight, those who help the fighters, and those who do nothing. Helping the fighters is as important as fighting. Among the fighters is the Job Creators Network. They are the ones who took Major League Baseball to court, sued them over taking the All-Star Game out of Georgia. The number of people that they hurt for no good reason And ironically, so many more blacks in Georgia than in Colorado, where they moved the two. But nothing has to make sense. It has to sound good and feel good. The Job Creators Network fights for small businesses. So all they want is your support. They're not even asking you for money. They just want you to join. Go to support JCN, Job Creators Network, supportjcn.com. I've had them them over. They fight on behalf of small businesses, and if you don't own a small business, you should still, you should still help them, obviously. Supportjcn.com. Once you start fighting, you can't stop. You know what I, uh, I found talking about that? No, on a personal note, are you familiar— I'm looking at my producer— are you familiar with The two kids who were killed in the movie theater— I forgot what state was that in. I was reading so much about it and I forgot where it happened. I'll get it for you. Wasn't here in California? It probably was. But check it out. Anyway, two teenagers were just randomly shot in the head and killed. A guy and a girl, and it was here in California. Where? Southern? Northern? Right, so Southern California. Anyway, so my heart broke looking at the pictures of these two young people and the monster. They found the monster would kill them. I would have a trial next week. Found guilty, I would execute him the week after. Yeah, Corona, California. Yeah, it's so, it's so, it's so heartbreaking to have seen that. And so how did this even come up in my talking to you right now about getting into habits? Habits is the key to life, bad habits and good habits. So, and I mentioned it in terms of support JCN. You get into a habit of fighting for the good And it just, it leads to another act. The famous Hebrew saying, one sin drags along another, and one good deed drags along another good deed. So I, I now have been in the habit, whenever I read in these pieces here of these tragedies, that they've set up a GoFundMe account, I send them I'm not going to make a big difference in their lives, but it's my way of saying you're not alone. And when they say X number of thousands of people donated, that I do believe touches them in some way. So I just keep sending these things when I read about them. I got into that habit. That's my point. Yep. I really would like to know the story of this guy. For the record, the guy who was killed is Hispanic. The woman was a white girl, and the murderer was Hispanic. And there's nothing to be learned from it. I'm simply noting it because people make assumptions when they hear these things, and I don't want you to assume what may not be true. Anyway, the guy has no record. Usually people who do that, they have this long rap sheet. So that, I admit, I have some curiosity There is a percentage of humanity that has no conscience. There is a term for them. It's a psychopath, right? Isn't that the term? But it is not a small percentage, by the way. It's obvious it's not a majority, but it is not a tiny group of people. And not all of them are murderers. There are people without conscience who are just without conscience and they have been socialized into not murdering and so on. I don't know, it's one of the questions that I will pose to God at the preordained, or well, I don't believe it's preordained, at the at the proper time? Like, why did he make the mosquito? I've got a bunch of questions. How is it that there is a percentage of humanity that has no conscience? And what do we do about the ones who have no conscience, like this guy, and just murdered two young people randomly? What do we do with them? Well, I think we kill them. That's what I think. If this guy is removed from the human race, the world will be a better place. This runs so contrary to the ethos and emotions that dominate the educated that they think I'm mean in saying that. That's what's so amazing. I printed out, by the way, in that regard, because I really wanted to— I may deal with this on the Ultimate Issues Hour. There was another horrible murder, and they finally— this was a year, decades ago. Yes, here it is. Serial killer and child molester Joseph Duncan, 58, dies on death row from brain cancer decades after slaughtering 3 young boys and an Idaho family. And he— the, uh, the reactions of the relatives and friends, the celebratory reactions that he finally died, run so contrary to, oh, we, we don't, we don't want to put any murderer to death that it's worth bringing to your attention. We will return. 1-800-PRAGER-776.

Did you know that a small percentage of apps provide your consent to remotely turn on your phone's microphone and record you after you sign their terms and conditions? Hey, Sebastian, thanks so much for having me.
I gotta ask you, because I haven't seen the boss in a couple of weeks, How excited is he to be back on the campaign trail?
This being fundraising month, August, for PragerU, I'd like to take a moment to speak to Taylor Hops. Is that how your last name is pronounced, Taylor? Yes. And she's identified on my screen as a young mom who wants her 2-year-old to grow up in the world of PragerU that PragerU envisions, not the world the left envisions. So welcome to my show. Where do you live?
Thank you. I live in Texas. I live in a little town about 2 hours outside of Dallas-Fort Worth called Wichita Falls. Fall.
Yeah, I heard of it for some reason. That's— it's to the west of Dallas.
Yes, it's to the west. Right.
So thank you for coming on. And how come you're coming on? Well, thank you.
Let me start by saying thank you for having me on, and happy birthday to you. Thank you. Um, and what started for me coming on is, um, with PragerU, what got me started in general is I'm a young mom. My daughter is actually 4, she's no longer 2, um, and my husband and I are kind of at that phase where we kind of had to make the decision whether we were going to homeschool or put her in public school. And seeing a lot of videos, you know, surface through PragerU and a lot of the educational videos you guys have through Prep really gave us the foundation and encouragement to homeschool our daughter. And we'll be using a lot of PragerU resources as well when we start to get into more of a curriculum with her as she gets older.
Well, you made my day. That's a birthday gift, I gotta tell you. I think it's a great way to raise a kid. There are really wonderful things there. They're wholesome. They're not anti— they're not— certainly there's nothing nothing dark. It's just very wholesome stuff we put out.
And yes, I, I love it all. And, uh, it's pretty interesting because I always knew I was conservative growing up. My mom was always conservative. I was always aware of her beliefs, but I didn't really know, uh, kind of where I stood. And it was about a year and a half, 2 years ago when I was exposed to PragerU videos and I mean, it was just kind of like that solidifying, like, yep, this is where I stand, this is what I believe. And then when I found PrEP, I was like, this is the perfect way to introduce things to my child in the most informative and fun way. And I love that PragerU has that.
PrEP, folks, is the PragerU program for educators and parents. P-R-E-G-E-R-U Resources. PragerU Resources, yeah. For educators and parents. Well, you are the people that will save this country. I'm curious, in your area where you live, is it generally traditional conservative religious?
Yes, it is. And generally we live in a small town, so there are, there are a lot of more of that American dream lifestyle that people have around here. It's very wholesome. I will say though, I was a little disappointed with this last upcoming election. Our city and our county was actually one of the ones that actually did a little bit more Democratic voting this election cycle around.
Wait, that includes Wichita Falls? Wichita Falls, not just the district?
Yes, the whole county. It was anywhere from, I believe it was 0.5% to 10% increase from the 2016 to 2020.
How do you explain that? I was very surprised.
Honestly, I think it's because we have Midwestern State University here, so it is becoming a little bit more of a college town, and Wichita Falls itself is growing at a very slow but steady rate. And so I think a lot of that is being implemented in, in the way we're seeing colleges go nowadays. I mean, it's not surprising. Um, it's a little disappointing and I hope that more people will start to see it. Um, but yeah, I, I would definitely say it's more towards the universities that are here.
College-educated mind thinks that wholesome is boring.
Yes, without a doubt, they definitely do. I will say that there is one thing that was kind of my saving grace is I went to college for a little bit and shortly realized that, you know, for me, I have a little bit more of an entrepreneurial mind, and I ended up not going. So I kind of survived a lot of that indoctrination. That's right. That's exactly right.
That's exactly right. So Take 30 seconds to make a pitch for people to help PragerU.
Well, I would say that if you want to avoid the indoctrination, be educated on videos that speak facts over your opinions. I think this is one of those places that you need to go. There are videos of stories of us, so there are other people that have stories similar to everybody that you know, or someone that you do know, or maybe even yourself. Health, as well as videos that are educational for your children as young as 3rd grade. I know that you guys are working on younger, and I think that that's absolutely incredible. So it's just a movement that allows you to have information even in under 5 minutes that you're not going to see from mainstream media or social media. That's today.
Let me just tell you, you are a joy. I really hope we meet one day. So, uh, bless you, Taylor. Thank you. Thank you. Hunter Biden's getting $500,000.
It's a bribe. It's disgraceful. And the fake news media is talking about it like it's okay.
Yeah, I'm just wondering, what if, uh, what if Eric, what if Don Jr. were getting a cool half a mil for some scribbles? I need to go to Central Park. I need one of those portraits. Let's ask somebody who's on Team Trump officially. She is President Trump's spokesperson, also the Save America PAC, and we're so excited to have her on the show. Liz Harrington, welcome to America First.
Hey Sebastian, thanks so much for having me.
I gotta ask you, because I haven't seen the boss in a couple of weeks, how excited is he to be back on the campaign trail?
Oh, oh, he's loving it. He can't wait to get back out there, and you feel it. You could see it on Saturday. The people won it. I don't know if you saw those crowds, but waiting for— since Friday, thousands of people. Doesn't exactly look like someone who lost the state of Arizona, by the way. But this speech, that clip you played, that was also one of my favorites, when, you know, the only good thing about the Biden campaign were those perfectly drawn circles for the 6 fake media to sit in, and they definitely were not drawn by Hunter Biden. I think President Trump literally hit everything. He hit all the major issues. He talked about the rigged and stolen election. He talked about what's happening to our country, and the people are responding.

That's what— that's what's important to people at a time when the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Hey, I'm Dennis Prager. I ought to— I ought— if I tweeted more, which is a big, big sin in my life that I don't, but if I did, I would have a picture— maybe I will— of this woman athlete who identifies as queer, black, depressed, and suicidal, raising her arms in a cross, in an X, for all the oppressed people of the world. I'd like to list the 5 most oppressed people in the world. What made me think of that? Well, I did think of that, but Brent in Los Angeles has a nominee for that. Hello, Brent.
Hi, Dennis, how are you? Yeah, I was calling in to say I'm surprised you You asked who the Olympian shot, Pudda Raven, was protesting for, and I was thinking, well, obviously the mass murder of tens of thousands of Black Christian Nigerians by Boko Haram, uh, the million Uyghurs being tortured and enslaved and raped by the CCP, the thousands of, uh, child sex slaves being brought across our border with, uh, Biden's blessing, and the tremendous Black-on-Black murder victims in Democrat cities, and also Cuba.
Right. It's a good list, I'm sorry to say. The slaughter of Christians by Muslims in Nigeria and other West African countries is— the ignoring of it, generally speaking, I mean, it's reported, but it's not a big deal at all. It's really analogous to the ignoring of the, of the mass murder of Ukrainians by Stalin in the early 1930s. That's the state we're in on the reporting. Elizabeth in Troy, Michigan. Hello.
Birthday blessings, Dennis Prager. I was your number 7 contributor to No Safe Spaces. Really? And yet, yes, I was. Yes, I was. Thank you.
So I've been listening to you and agree almost exclusively.
I have one difference with what I've heard you talking about today.
You said that the word for people without a conscience is sociopath. My word is Democrat.
Well, they have a— it's an interesting question. The left— let's see, what else did you, uh— yes, one second. Oh yeah, you called in, by the way, to talk about the the Olympics, and I don't mind the topic you just raised, but I have to ask all of you to talk to me about the topic you told the screener. That's why I take the call. Anyway, the left has a broken compass because it doesn't think in terms of good and evil. It thinks in terms of black and white, rich and poor. And race, gender, class. That's how it works. They deny gender, but they think nevertheless of the breakdown of society is male-female, male oppressor, oppressor, woman victim. So anyway, that's a reaction to that. Christine in Atlanta, Georgia. Hello.
Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Yep, yep, yep. Hi, this is a university professor who's not a fool.
Wow. What? I'd like to meet you for a cigar.
I think I met you at one point, but anyway, I am I'm calling with reference to the gentleman, the police officer, who was thinking it would be great to have schools that were Zoom schools. And why didn't someone start those? And I wanted you to know that Bill Bennett started one well over a decade ago. It is now a company called K-12. And in most states in the country, we have— we have one in Georgia— cyber academies that are K-12 K-12, all online schools. In Georgia, ours is the third largest in the country. It's 10,000 kids. And you asked also, when you were talking about this, how you would figure out how to test the kids. We've got the technology for all of that. The instructional science research is racing ahead to try to find out the best ways to do this. I use online teaching myself, and I've found some very interesting assessment vehicles that use AI. And, uh, it's just so, so the cyber schools around the country are charter schools, and, um, they— you'd have to check the curriculum with each one of them because of course that's what you're concerned about. But ours in Georgia is very solid. So, and so how does one find out about this?
K-12.com? What is the website? Yes, that is it.
That's K-12. That's what Bill Bennett started. Well, you know, I vaguely remember that, and I didn't—
it obviously, it didn't come to mind. That is terrific that you called about that. So let me ask you one more question. Is that the— is that an easy way to do homeschooling?
It is different. I think some kids, they have really developed the all-online thing in these cyber schools to be very effective. I've had parents come up to me sobbing. I've been on the board, um, sobbing, saying, you know, you saved my child. But I think that for some kids, it's probably better to do homeschool where you're face to face with somebody all the time. But for instance, We in the cyber schools, we have clubs, we have groups that get together outside of school. We also put together parents because the parents should be there when the kid is online. We put together parents so parents can form into groups to help each other.
Oh, okay, I understand now. Okay, there's more obvious social interaction with homeschooling, but this is an easy way to get started with your kid's education along with things like PragerU and others, and not send them to the indoctrination centers.

Together we stand with all who understand what it means to be born and built from the land.
Because this is the city we love and the game we believe in, and together we are all Cleveland Guardians.
Now you know they sat around and said, all right, we gotta make this change. What are we— how are we going to tell the— our fans that we're not— I know, said the owners of the Cleveland Indians. I don't know who owns the team, could care less. I don't even follow professional sports that closely. Maybe you do. It's boring. It's boring to hear people yammer about professional sports. The only people that are interested are people that are really into sports, and that's fine, but most people aren't. It's just a fact. Most people don't live and die by, you know, the statistics and the standings in the AL West. I mean, and I'm not putting you down if you do, but most of us don't. All right. So I don't know who owns the team, but don't you just envision, what are we gonna do? Let's get to— we'll pay Tom Hanks $10 million, we'll put together a, a, a slick video with dramatic music, and we'll show all these great shots of Cleveland, and we'll try to convince people that we're uniting by changing the name of the Cleveland Indians Since 1915.

Some lawyer hit a little girl. The community is left in shock as former cancer patient Sharon Blackwell was struck by an oncoming coming vehicle. Take this in evidence, sir.
I need to call my wife. You've been accused of texting while driving. We don't make an example out of this guy, the public will crucify us. Before you take your daughter off life support, give God room to be God. You're not guaranteed another day, but you have today.
The move.
Get back. I'll shoot you. No one's left inside for the pastor and his two daughters. If you run, I'll shoot your family. Nobody cares whether I live or die. It's a bet.
I'm not gonna stand around and be a part of it anymore.
Well, everybody, Dennis Prager here. Hmm, all right, let's take a challenge. I think it's a challenge. Christine in Chicago, hi. Hi, how are you?
I just called to wish you a very happy happy birthday today.
Oh, I was wrong. You're not calling to challenge me?
No, no, no, no, no. I, uh, I'm calling to tell you how much I love your show. You are the voice of reason on the radio, and, um, I've turned many of my family and friends onto your show. But I also have a question, because you're going to be— you've been in the Lisle area several times for the smokers and I really want to go, but I have asthma, and I was wondering if you're ever gonna do an event for people who have compromised breathing systems that we can attend.
I would love that. I think I need to do that. An evening with Dennis Prager for those who have compromised breathing issues. Yes, yes, yes, a CBI evening. I can't believe I haven't done it yet.
No, I would love to see you in live, but I thought I would have to wear a non-fitting mask to come in.
You know what, I feel bad. I truly do feel bad for you. I would love to meet you, but I get it. You're not gonna want to be at a cigar evening with me. Right. I hear you. What do I do, guys? I wonder if I could fill an auditorium with compromised breathing issues people. That would be, that would be an interesting test of my appeal. Oh, God bless you, Christine. That was a good one. Let's see, Steve in Prescott, Arizona.
Hello. So I know my time is limited, but you were talking about, um, there was nothing to learn from the guy that shot everybody or shot those two people, right, in the movie theater. And I was telling your call screener that I think whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, there's always something to learn. And I appreciate and love your show, and, uh, with your motto about, you know, thinking on your program If you're not a thinker, you need my program. If you are a thinker, you'll love my program. I just wanted to know what you think about that comment.
Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, that was my old, uh, I've got— I haven't used that in years. That's right. If, if— what is it? It was, I think, if you, if you don't like to think, you need my show. If you like to think, you'll love my show. Anyway, still we have the question: what can we learn about— from that man? All right, we return. I'm Dennis Prager.

I think you're actually ahead, Glenn Youngkin, and I'll tell you why. Dan Balz had a story in the Washington Post this week that polling is broken in America. Systemically understating Republican support. So if you're tied in the polls, and you are, I actually think you're 5 points ahead of Terry. And I think Terry's worn out, tired, and boring. And I don't think he can beat you anyway. But it's good to run like you're behind, right? Yeah, it is.
You know, what's interesting is as soon as the polling came out last week, he called his friend Joe Biden, and Joe Biden's going to show up in Virginia campaigning. He's not coming far. He's just coming barely across the river. And I will tell you what this demonstrates is that Terry's got a failed record. I mean, when he was governor, the murder rate went up 43%. We're at a 20-year high in murder rate in Virginia. He's actually completely ostracized in the entire law enforcement community, and they know he won't stand for them. And Virginia's economy continues to trail all of our peer states, and everybody blames Terry and Ralph Northam for it. They shut down our economy. Terry absolutely didn't bring the number of jobs to Virginia that our peer states did. And Virginians are tired of it. They're ready for a new kind of leader who's going to build business, grow jobs, fix our schools, and make our communities safe.
I agree that you've got a great platform. I want to bring up this, this visit from Joe Biden. You've also got the hometown paper against you. The Washington Post sent out Sean Sullivan to cover this, and I've got the story in my hand. They do not mention you until Paragraph 26. I counted.

This rabid Trump-hating Republican replacing Jim Jordan or Jim Banks, take your pick. I saw Jim Banks yesterday, the Indiana congressman, on, on one of the Sunday morning news shows. I think he was on, he was on Fox News Sunday. Martha MacCallum was guest hosting. Guy makes such a, uh, a great point. He didn't say anything that was disqualifying. They're just going to ask why the Speaker's office didn't have the, the Capitol more secure. Did they have reports? What do they know and when do they know it? If they had reports before January 6th that there could be violence, why did they do it? Why did they do enough about it? Those are legitimate questions. Pelosi doesn't want those questions. You think she's going to get those questions from Adam Kinzinger? Here was Stephanopoulos with a cagey, grinning, maniacal Nancy Pelosi yesterday on ABC This Week.
Will you be appointing more Republicans to the committee like Congressman Adam Kinzinger?
That would be my plan.
So when will that be announced?
Perhaps after I speak to Adam Kinzinger. But I'm not about to announce it right this minute, but you could say that that is the direction that I would be going on. He has— he and other Republicans have expressed an interest to serve on the, um, on the select committee.
Tolerate their antics? Hey, Madam Speaker, you're responsible for security at the U.S. Capitol. Why wasn't there better security on January 6th? How did those hundreds of people get to breach the Capitol the way they did. Oh, I'm not tolerating those antics.

Why is that golfer having his life dream be torn away from— what's his name again? He's a total stud. Jon Rahm, who now has tested positive twice for the Chinese coronavirus despite being vaccinated. What's going on here? Why is it that we have so many people in charge that want to go—
Hi everybody, I'm Dennis Prager. Wonderful to be with you. Today's my birthday, and this is the inauguration, official inauguration of PragerU fundraising month on my birthday, each August 2nd. PragerU.com, 833-PRAGER-U. And I thank you. And a lot of warmth. Get a lot of hate in life, and I get a lot of love in life. And might I add that in each in their own way make me feel wonderful. The love is very deeply touching and moving, and the hate means I'm effective. So there you go. Is that a fair way of living, murder? Yeah, they keep reporting on the COVID cases in, uh, in Florida because they want— they're dying to bring down DeSantis. The media has no agenda of truth, as it has political agendas. So we keep reading about cases, cases, cases of the, of the Delta variant. I like that. I've got to remember that. If you call somebody a Delta variant, is it Is that a mean thing to say? You know, you are one Delta variant. What do you think? Not much of it. You don't think much of it? No. Well, that's fair. It's a fair reaction. So I have a question. Who cares? Cases means nothing. Death means something. Means something. Serious illness, prolonged serious illness means something. Cases means nothing. If theoretically there was a— what comes after Delta? Epsilon? Seriously, in the air? Epsilon? So if there's an epsilon variant, there's a gamma variant, how do they pick it out? Lambda variant. They're coming next. How about a Phi Beta Kappa variant? There you go. Let's say there's a Phi Beta Kappa variant and everybody has it but nobody dies. So 300 million cases and nobody dies. Does it matter? How many Americans get a cold every year? Would you say a third of the country gets a cold every year? I would say so, right? 100 million cases of cold. Why isn't it reported? Because they almost never lead to death. That's what matters. The mayor of Washington, D.C., did you see that? She's having a big celebration. Some— she had one right after telling Washingtonians that they had to wear masks. She didn't have masks. So here's the question, since I, I have contempt for all Democratic politicians because they're, they're destroying the country. Either they're destroying it or they're allowing it to be destroyed. So Putting that aside, however, how do you explain that you did that? Like Newsom having an unmasked gathering at a restaurant while forbidding restaurants to be open in California, or people, and people obviously attending them. So how do you explain it? Is it hypocrisy? It is hypocrisy, but hypocrisy doesn't really explain it. The question is, do they believe what they're telling us to do? That's what is fascinating. That's one of the fascinating questions to me. See, I don't believe— I believe I believe some of them are simply scared. I believe that many of them, like Nancy Pelosi, doesn't believe in masks any more than I do. Remember, she was caught. Nothing happens, by the way, when Democrats do these things. Look at Cuomo.
With all the women who came forth, the guy, the guy is still pontificating to the country what to do.
So how does one explain this? Some of them are truly, that is Democratic politicians, are truly paranoid. They are, they're scaredy cats. But most of them don't believe what they tell you. Nancy Pelosi went to an underground speakeasy hair salon to get her hair done in the— while screaming lockdown in California. The mayor of Washington, D.C. is— just had a, a big event right after telling people that they can't gather and without masks and did so. So they don't believe it. This is all done to control you, but they don't want to be controlled. So I just thought I would share that for the record. Principia Scientific International, July 19th: 5 times more UK child suicides than COVID deaths during lockdown. 5 times more children and young people committed suicide than died of COVID-19 during the first year of the pandemic in the United Kingdom, according to a study which also concluded that lockdowns are more detrimental to children's health than the virus itself. No kidding. The virus is meaningless with regard to young people, especially children. But what we have done to them— deprived them of a year of schooling, deprived them of friends, not allow them to see faces other than their immediate family. Every time I see a 3-year-old— excuse me, 2-year-old— with a mask on at an airport, I'm embarrassed to be an American. Takes a lot to embarrass me to be an American, although it's taking less and less because it's happening more and more. But this is a phenomenon. 2-year-olds wearing masks. 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, 10-year-olds. 5 times more children and young people committed suicide than died of COVID We ought to put this up. Did you send me this? Researchers with the University of College London, the University of York, the University of Liverpool, University of Bristol found in a study that has not yet been peer-reviewed that the coronavirus doesn't appear to present a significant risk to children as compared with other age groups. What I don't understand, what do you, what do you need a peer-reviewed study for? You just look at the data. How many kids have died of this and how many? It's nothing. It's virtually nothing. I would suspect that more kids have died in car crashes. Well, I have— I do have an interesting— you want to— you want to say it on the air? Yeah. Here we go, ladies and gentlemen, the Living Martyr, a rare appearance on the radio.
So I did talk this weekend to a major economist who is friend— close friends with another, another major economist. This hasn't been published yet, but I think it will be very soon, and that is your child is more likely to die die in a school bus accident, then from COVID then from COVID Wow, that's hard to believe because that's so rare.
That's the, the whole— but, but no, none of them were dying of COVID It's— yes, another great reason to homeschool, says. Between the two of you, I'm really entertained. Sometimes I just think I should just, you know, sort I would have to take a break, sip on my coffee, and have the two of you, uh, uh, he in his serious way and you in your hilarious way. Thank you. That, that, that is really something. I would not be surprised. Okay, I would be a little surprised, let's put it that way. It's coming. The risk of removal of children and young people from their normal activities across education and social events prove a greater risk than that of SARS-CoV-2 itself. That's the study's conclusion. It was revealed in the study that only 25 children under the age of 18 died, died of COVID-19 from the start of the pandemic until the end of February 2021. Around 61, 61 children in all died after testing positive, but in 36 cases it was found that the virus did not contribute contribute to their death. But during the same time period, there were 124 suicides among children and 268 deaths from trauma, the study's authors found, while noting the virus is rarely fatal for children. That's right. Professor Lorna Fraser of the University of York added, even when we found higher risk for some groups with severe medical problems, these risks were still very small compared to risks seen in adults. Lockdowns are causing a spike in children harming themselves and drug overdoses among children. You know what the definition of both a liberal and a leftist? They don't ask the question, what price?
This is Hugh Hewitt for TownHall.com. We are living in the Age of Surveillance Capitalism. That's the title of a book by Shoshana Zuboff. Whose thinking has shaped my own as we look on the growing power of Big Tech. I imagine your response is like mine: What? I'd never agree to that. I am certain a hard line on personal privacy would have a greater appeal to the public than many other issues currently separating the parties. Watch that vast uncharted space in which party moves to restore data that has been taken and to repair walls of privacy that were breached long ago. Whoever gets there first will be a long-term winner.

I'll bet you the French Revolution abolished holidays, but they made new ones. By the way, the phoniness of Indigenous Peoples' Day instead of Columbus Day, the total The total hypocrisy, the phoniness. Has Columbia University changed its name to Indigenous University? Of course they won't, because it would cost them so much money. Who wants— who would want to get a degree from Indigenous University as opposed to Columbia University? By the way, I am totally in favor of it. I went to Columbia. I would say with pride, I went to the School of International Affairs. At Indigenous U. I would love to see that. Is Columbus, Ohio changing its name to Indigenous Ohio? How about the country of Columbia? That's right, the District of Columbia. District of Indigenous. Holidays like Thanksgiving will call day off. Jewish holidays like Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are also called day off. If we don't have anything on the calendar, we don't have to— we don't have to have anyone be hurt with hurt feelings, uh, board member Doreen Roche said. That, by the way, is part of the reason that women are disproportionately dismantling the West because of feelings. Men have to battle their natures and women have to battle their natures, or society is really in trouble. But we've only taught men to battle their natures, their sexual predatory nature and their aggressive, physically aggressive nature. Anything women have to battle, or are they— they just come out perfect? I guess they come out perfect, the left's view, because the left is the feminized part of society. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, so the question is not asked, is it good for society, or even is it true? The question asked is, does it hurt anyone's feelings? You cannot make social policy based on that question. You cannot make social policy on the quest— based on the question, will anybody die? Remember Andrew Cuomo's thing that I played from the very beginning of the lockdown? If everything I do will only save one life, I will sleep well at night. You can't make social policy like that. Otherwise, you, you will have the speed limit on every highway 35 miles per hour. When you go from 55 to 65, we know more people will die, but we don't make speed limits based on the question only, will more people die? There will be people with hurt feelings if Thanksgiving is on the calendar. I guess so. Leftists who give thanks for nothing. That's a good one. What is the holiday the left most hates? People might say Christmas or Columbus Day. No, Thanksgiving, because they give no thanks. Hey, here's a good one for you. Jen Psaki said we have to teach the the bad as well as the good about America. Here's the $64,000 question. Ms. Psaki, could you please tell us what good they're teaching kids about America? Saving lives. And if everything we do saves just one life, I'll be happy.

This is Hugh Hewitt for townhall.com. We are living in the Age of Surveillance Capitalism. That's the title of a book by Shoshana Zuboff, whose thinking has shaped my own as we look on the growing power of big tech. The biggest flaw in most tech companies' business models is a general willingness to loot an individual's personal information and thus his or her privacy without payment for this data and without informed consent. Did you know that a small percentage of apps provide your consent to remotely turn on your phone's microphone and record you after you sign their terms and conditions? I imagine your response is like mine: "What? I'd never agree to that." I am certain a hard line on personal privacy would have a greater appeal to the public than many other issues currently separating the parties. Watch that vast uncharted space in which party moves to restore data that has been taken and to repair walls of privacy that were breached long ago. Whoever gets there first will be a long-term winner.

Yeah, I'm just wondering, what if, uh, what Eric, what if Don Jr. were getting a cool half a mil for some scribbles? I need to go to Central Park. I need one of those portraits. Let's ask somebody who's on Team Trump officially. She is President Trump's spokesperson, also the Save America PAC, and we're so excited to have her on the show. Liz Harrington, welcome.
Hey everybody, I have Don Brown on the line. Don Brown is a former U.S. Navy JAG officer, author of 15 books. It's a lot. And the latest is— I wonder what happened here— Callsign Extortion 17, the shootdown of SEAL Team 6. That was, uh, and now there's a film based on his book. It's called The Fallen Angel. It's at salemnow.com. Don, uh, welcome to my show.
And it's so great to be here. Appreciate the great work you're doing. So it's a special honor and privilege for me to be able to discuss these 30 American Navy SEALs, 17 of them who lost their lives, on your show. God bless you for having me, and I thank you.
Wow. Well, that's very touching. Thank you. So obviously, Bring My listeners up to speed. What exactly is this about?
Fallen Angels, a very dramatic and emotional film about an American military helicopter called Extortion 17, which was shot down 10 years ago this coming Friday, August 6, 2011, and which marked the largest loss of life for the United States in the Afghan War and also the largest loss of life in the of our Navy SEALs. And we lost 30 Americans on board that aircraft, including 6— SEAL Team 6 had 17 members on board that aircraft. And this shootdown occurred just 96 days, you know, just about 3 months after our Navy SEALs had taken out Osama bin Laden. And the shootdown occurred under some very, very questionable circumstances. Appears to be a very large military cover-up. But there's really, I think there's a dual-pronged tragedy here. One, these guys, their names had never even been learned, let alone forgotten. And so I think this film Fallen Angel is going to bring some light to the nation about these 30 heroes who have sort of been lost amidst a cacophonous chorus of foolish soundbites from liberal media. You know, you hear the phrase, save say his name, say your name. How about saying their names? 30 Americans losing their lives in one swath, including 17 members of SEAL Team Six.
3 months after bin Laden is killed by Navy SEALs and they announce bounty on Navy SEALs.
They announced bounty on Navy SEALs. Our— the current gentleman who apparently is in the White House, Mr. Biden, just 2 days after there had been an agreement put forth by the former Defense Secretary Bob Gates to keep the names of the identity of the Americans who took bin Laden out, to keep it a secret, to keep it quiet. Biden goes to a hotel in Washington, D.C. and announces that SEAL Team, the Navy SEALs have taken out bin Laden. As soon as Biden did that, he can't control his mouth, a bounty was placed on the heads of the Navy SEALs. And in this tango Indy River Valley in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, in the 90-some days after the bin Laden mission, there had been 3 attacks against special operations helicopters flying in that valley. And it was a heavily infested Taliban valley. And yet the rules of engagement still prevented— Obama's rules of engagement still prevented us from using what we call pre-suppression fire, to fire into an area, into a landing zone before our helicopters landed. This chopper was hanging in the air, strangely, for 10 minutes. We lost communication for 10 minutes. It hung in the air for 7 minutes after it should have been on the ground. It should have been only a 10-minute flight, making itself a huge, loud, roaring target for Taliban on the ground. The shootdown was not even announced by the American administration. It was announced by Karzai. President Karzai announced it the next morning that there had been a shootdown, and we We saw from the British and French press quoting sources inside the Karzai administration that the Taliban had been tipped on the flight. There are many, many unanswered questions, including what happened to the helicopter's black box. We've gotten multiple reports. You know, if you think Fauci is bad flip-flopping about, you know, whether you need a mask or not, you go back and read the military report on what happened to the black box in this case, and it almost looks like— makes Fauci look intelligible, almost, not quite. But they first said the black box, which had a cockpit voice recorder, was washed away in a flood. And they maintained that story after sending Pathfinders in to look for it for 3 days. The Pathfinder commander said the first time he could never find the black box. Military told the family members it washed away in a flood. That was in 2011. Then in 2014, they changed their tune and said, well, the black box never had— I mean, the helicopter never had a black box to begin with. We've since had pilots come forward saying, yes, it did, it did have a black box and had a flight data recorder and a voice data cockpit voice recorder. You see, Dennis, one thing I didn't really realize—

I'm Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com for Town Hall. Democrats have doubled down on radical indoctrination in schools with their embrace of critical race theory.
School boards and teachers unions have rushed to implement CRT into their curricula, in some cases while avoiding parental notification.
Even as these education leaders refused to reopen schools to children, they now plan to use their near monopoly on education to push this highly controversial ideology. It's already begun to backfire.
Parents have begun demanding answers from school boards and campaigned to unseat their members.
Politico reports that even Democratic voters are repelled by these plans and that the radical efforts have fired up independent and conservative voters.
The combination of closures and radical agendas have handed Republicans their best opening in decades. With parents under attack by the education establishment, now is the time to demand comprehensive school choice. The choice between liberty and bureaucratic domination over children is now crystal clear in all demographics and areas. The GOP needs to wake up to this golden opportunity.

We've had 11—
I didn't expect to go over a segment, but I got to tell you, I am riveted by this story. Riveted on so many grounds. Don Brown, author of 15 books, former U.S. Navy officer. So he wrote a book, Callsign Extortion 17: The Shootdown of SEAL Team Six. Based on that book is the new documentary Fallen Angel, and it's at the salemnow.com. Uh, did you make this film?
The film was made by, um, Steven Spivey and Carl Horstman are the filmmakers. Steven Spivey's RPM Films. Carl Horstman runs Triple Horse Studios in Atlanta. They had the Atlanta area, and they are pretty well-known filmmaker down in the area. So I'm one of many folks who was interviewed for the film. I see. I'm probably in it, you know, a couple of times, as you'll see. But, um, it was a team effort. We had 30 US Army Rangers come up from Fort Benning to take part in the film. God bless them, they were really professionals. We had folks come forward who, after my book came out, Dennis, you know, everybody says conspiracy theory, conspiracy theories. I was hoping that when my book came out, people would come forward, and people have come forward because of my book and for other reasons. And so we interviewed a US Air Force officer who who saw the events leading up to the shootdown. We interviewed— or the filmmakers, I should say, Steven Spivey and Carl Hortzman interviewed a US Navy mortician who received the bodies when they came in, interviewed US Army Rangers who were first on the ground. The interviews are riveting. And I think the filmmakers do a great job of, for the first time, letting the nation know who these guys were, these 30 Americans I mean, there's a dual tragedy here. One, we don't know who these guys are. You know, say their names. My goodness, they're the best that we've had to offer. And then two, the inexplicable chain of flip-flops and hide-the-ball tactics by the Pentagon.
I don't know if you're free to give away— well, first of all, is there anything to give away? Does your film come to a resolution?
The film, the film comes to a resolution in one respect by, by giving honor to the fallen, as it should. But there are more questions than there are answers. The film still— we have more answers than we did when my book came out. But the, but the film and the book raise even more questions that the Pentagon doesn't tell us. And of course, no book and no film can cover the whole story, right?
So what is your theory? Even beyond the specific questions, why did this happen? Why would anybody at the Pentagon hide what the Taliban did?
Dennis, my theory is that there could very well have been a green-on-blue attack inside that chopper. There was a switch-out. You know, I did not know what I'm getting right now.
What is green on blue? What is green on blue?
That's what green on blue means— an Afghan ally attacking our American forces.
You know, there were, there were Afghan allies on that chopper?
Well, there are Afghans on board the chopper, yes. And the thing that I did not realize at the time, at this time in the war on terror in 2011, we were forcing our special operators, our U.S. Navy SEALs, U.S. Army Rangers primarily, to fly these missions with Afghan commandos. We call them APUs. And I— and you can see what— because I reviewed 1,250 pages of the military record that had been declassified and testimony from our Navy SEALs and our Rangers, they did not want to fly these guys. They were not reliable. And not only that, but these— there were a rash of green-on-blue attacks whereby the Afghans would shoot our guys in the back. We even had a major general, Major General Green, who was shot in 2014 by Afghan bodyguards and killed. No one was beyond, you know, them switching on a moment's notice. And not only that, Dennis, but these— there were 7 Afghans who were swapped out on board this chopper, and their names did not match the flight manifest. We since found out that there was some—
okay, so why would the Pentagon seek to suppress these facts?
Well, if there are, I believe, if you stop and think about it, it's 2011, a year before the 2012 presidential election, and I'm speculating at this point, but based upon, there's a lot of circumstantial evidence in my opinion that points toward an internal attack on that chopper. Why? Because it could be politically embarrassing on multiple fronts. You know, if you have Afghan forces attack, you know, pulling the trigger on an internal bomb or getting into a firefight with Navy SEALs inside that chopper, that, number one, that, you know, it blows away the theory that they're as reliable as the Obama administration wanted us to believe. You know, it's extremely embarrassing from that standpoint. It would be a political embarrassment, you know, to the Karzai administration at the time. and the disappearance of the black box. There's an inexplicable disappearance of that helicopter's black box, which contained a voice, a cockpit voice recorder, which would have told us what happened. Remember, this helicopter was hanging in the ground, hanging in the air for 7 minutes longer than it should have been hanging in the air. We're flying these missions at night. These CH-47s, they're dual rotors, one on the front, but they're very, very loud. If they hang in the air, you know, and aren't moving, of course, noise— they become targets, right? And inexplicably, we lost contact, radio contact, for 10 minutes with this chopper.
Wow. There's no reason. So something happened inside the chopper? Yeah, right. I mean, I believe so.
Yeah, you asked me what I thought happened. I believe that may have happened. I can tell you this, that since then, Billy Vaughn, who's one of our Gold Star fathers and I have been working, worked with members of the Congress. In 2017, we went up and met with the late Congressman Walter Jones, who was on the House Armed Services Committee. We met with former Congressman Duncan Hunter, who, you know, is no longer in the Congress but was also in the Armed Services Committee, and with, with Congressman Brian Mast from Florida. We talked about this case, and Congressman Jones contacted Matt Thornberry, who's the chair of the Armed Services Committee, and they put several questions to the Pentagon, okay? One of the questions— see, they brought the bodies of the Afghans back, or they brought the remains back here to Dover Air Base. And so one of the basic questions put to the Pentagon, um, to— was what happened to the body of the Afghans. The question is this, from the House Armed Services Committee to the Pentagon, simply this: are there Afghans buried at Arlington? Okay, that was one of 7 or 8 questions.
All right, you know what, we're going to do a part 2. There's too much to ask. I got to remind people, you can see this brand new documentary, Fallen Angel, at salemnow.com. Thank you, Don Brown.

And the whole point of it was to do comedy from a Christian conservative perspective that wasn't cheesy, that didn't make us the joke. Because isn't it funny that we always have to start there? Yeah, we're doing it, it's really brilliant, brilliant, but it's not cheesy, right? Like, we're making films but it's not cheesy, it's a TV program but it's not cheesy. And it is an amazing thing. I said it before, but you guys, it's not just not cheesy, it is It's brilliant. And actually, in the world in which we live today, it's almost the only stuff that's happening at that level. I mean, there's nothing on the left. Well, I can tell you why. The reason there's nothing good on the left right now, and I know I followed The Onion for years. They've been around for 20-plus years. They used to be very funny. They're less funny now, and they're less funny now for a very good reason. You know, the left has made all these rules about what you can and can't say, and they also have this idea of that you can't offend anybody. So, so in enforcing these rules, they even do this on comedians. They try to make comedians follow rules. You can't say this, you can't say that, you can't joke about this, you can't offend this people group, you can't punch down, never punch down, right? And so they make all these rules, and comedians by their nature flout rules. They make fun of people who make rules. That's what comedians are supposed to do, right? That's their— that's really their role in all of this. And so to handcuff comedians in that way, leftists are actually creating— by trying to kill comedy and strangle it, they're creating an opportunity for people on the other side of the aisle to say the things that you're not supposed to say, make the jokes you're not supposed to make. Fascinating to me to see people who might previously have identified as on the left or something pushing back against the cancel culture and the absurdity of this, because they're usually the ones who were doing that with the Keep up with what's trending.

Besides, Matt Taibbi says, I'm vaccinated, I think people should be vaccinated, but the latest moral mania we're witnessing— and make no mistake about it, he writes— the pandemic of the unvaccinated PR campaign is the latest in a ceaseless series of such manias dating back to late 2016, lays bare everything that's abhorrent and nonsensical in modern American politics.
You know, I was saying to the Living Martyr during the break how fast the show went. I feel that almost every show, which is a good thing, obviously. So let me reflect for a moment in this final segment on this day being my birthday, August 2nd. The— I think I mentioned earlier the, the, the transformation of birthdays in your emotional mind from when you're young to later on in life. It's very different. When you're a kid, oh God, you look forward to your birthday. Even the funny thing, I always get a kick out of it when I ask, so how old are you? Oh, I'm almost 14. You stop saying I'm almost something pretty early, relatively. So what induced my thinking and reflecting upon this, my birthday, was when I was saying how fast the shows go and indeed how fast life goes. I say it with no bitterness. I just say it as it's a fact. I thank God that I could say that because I lead such a wonderful life to this day. I don't feel any different than in my 20s. I don't act different. I don't have less energy. Me. It is all a gift. Some people have it and some people don't, and I'm grateful for it. And such is, uh, such, such it is. It goes fast. When you say— it's so funny when you think 40 years from now, it seems like it'll, you know, it's so far away, it'll almost never happen. But if you say 40 years ago, seems like yesterday. 40 years from now seems like eternity. 40 years ago seems like yesterday. Interesting, eh? And I, I love it all. I I treasure it. I treasure the ability. There is not a day that I broadcast that I do not think how fortunate I am to be in the position of being able to say virtually every day what I believe, what I think, what I care about to a lot of people and get paid to do it. I never lose sight of my good fortune and my need to earn that good fortune. My favorite English verb, as you know, or as many of you know, is earn. Thank you for your good wishes. I will see you tomorrow. I'm Dennis Prager.
