The Dennis Prager Show LIVE

Hey, welcome to the Dennis Prager Show. This isn't Dennis Prager, this is Carl Jackson. Your favorite, your favorite Christian conservative American that happens to be Black filling in for Mr. Dennis Prager. Although I could probably concede that moniker to Candace Owens. I started thinking about whenever I say that, people are like, where's Candace Owens? Where it's— okay, okay, your second best conservative American that happens to be Black and Christian, as a matter of fact. All right, I want you to understand something. I want you to understand that conservatives want you to be somebody. Democrats, on the other hand, leftists, on the other hand, they want you to hate somebody. Let me stop there for a second. I just want to say it is an honor and a privilege to fill in for Dennis Prager. He is a hero of mine. I appreciate him loaning me his microphone, if you will. I appreciate, uh, Alan Estrin. Sean, thank you for, uh, for being here as well. Guys, we've gotta, we've gotta fight and we've gotta win. By the way, I'm joined in studio by the one, the only Nostra Dennis.

I am not Dennis Prager, but I am a Dennis.

Tony, uh, Maestro is in studio as well. Uh, Nostra Dennis is, uh, appears on my colleagues, uh, he's a colleague of mine on the American Adversaries radio network here locally in Orlando. I want to talk to you about the 5 C's. I want to talk to you about ending Black History Month. I think it's imperative that we end Black History Month. But before we go there, I want to start here. Today is President's Day, is it not?

We celebrate every president, even the ones you don't like.

Okay, all right, so I disagree with Presidents' Day. I believe that there are two presidents worth celebrating on Presidents' Day, and I think that it's imperative that when a conservative gets back in the White House, we start making these cultural changes to rename George Washington, who deserves to have a national holiday—

he used to—

and Abraham Lincoln, who deserves to have a national holiday too. And we should restore those national holidays. I'm sorry, I don't believe that Joe Biden, I don't believe that Bill Clinton deserve a national holiday. Likewise, I don't believe that many Republicans deserve a national holiday. But I think one of the things that would occur if we were to reestablish these national holidays is an understanding of our founding. Let me, let me, let me say this, let me say this. What if it were true that every single one of the founding fathers were racist, which they weren't. But let's say that it's true for the sake of the social justice warriors out there. My argument would be this: so what? How can you say that? You Uncle Tom, you sellout, you all this, whatever, whatever, whatever. I can say it because the founding fathers developed a system based upon natural law. It's very important that you understand natural law, and we'll get into that. And again, I want to reiterate that conservatives— because I think we have to win 2022, we have to win 2024— so I want to get some of you guys on our side because I want to prove to you that the conservative movement loves you. The left hates you. As a matter of fact, again, I'll reiterate, the conservative movement wants you to be somebody. The left, they want you to hate somebody. This is evidenced by everything they do. I'm not gonna insult your intelligence by spending a lot of time on this sham impeachment hearing. I understand that it's the big news. Trump was acquitted. Well, Trump should have never been prosecuted. We all know that. So I'm not going to insult your intelligence, even if you're on the left. You may be angry. I'm not going to buy into that. I'm not going to insult your intelligence. It would just be wrong of me. But I want to ask you, even if the founders— let's pretend like the left is right— even if the founders were racist, how today are you being impeded by the founders? This system that they claim is systemic, based upon systemic racism, so the left has to get rid of it. The social justice warriors, the BLM terrorists, the Antifa terrorists— we have to get rid of it. It's silly, but they don't understand our system cannot be by design systemically racist That isn't to say that there weren't some racists that played a part in creating the system, because they implemented natural law. I want to talk to you— years ago, years ago, I wrote a column called The Five C's of Conservatism, or Conservatism Defined. I had Mr. Prager on a couple of months ago, and we kind of spoke through that. But I want you to understand Christ, Constitution, capitalism. I talked about communication and compassion, but the words that I wish I would have added after listening to Mr. Prager— courage and conviction. As a matter of fact, I would swap— I would swap communication perhaps And I would plop in courage. Here's a lesson in natural rights. The founders were absolutely brilliant in that even if we were a nation that had slaves at the beginning, at the— or, or, or the— or, or the— yeah, the beginning of our nation, if you will. They were brilliant in the way the found— that the Constitution was founded, the way the Declaration of Independence was written, the Bill of Rights. And that's what I want to get to. I'm not going to exhaust the Bill of Rights, but I definitely want to go to or go through the First and Second Amendment. It's very important that you understand natural rights. It's very important that you understand what the left is attempting to destroy the best, most prosperous country God has ever given man. This is why George Washington should be hailed as a hero. Well, Carl, he owned slaves. He owned slaves. Well, you're right, you're right. But I also know this, that slavery was a universal sin. Black people owned slaves. Even here, right in the United States, Indians owned slaves. Everyone owned slaves. Everyone traded slaves. Every ethnicity at some part in history. But I honor George Washington because this is a man that gave us the example for every president to follow. This was a man that was strong and wise in stature for his day. And when they wanted this man to be a king, to act like a king, he said, no, no, no, no, man, I'm not doing that. This is America. I'm going to lead. We could have had a— we could have had a country of monarchs oligarchs that big tech is trying to take over. But he said, no, no, we're America. We're gonna— this is what we're about. This is the way it's going to be. We are America. We are going to be a free people. I am going to be the President of the United States, and then I'm going to step down, and I'm going to go about my business on my farm, just chill. Likewise, you had in Abraham Lincoln a president A president that sought to restore and to, and, and, and to make sure that we, people were challenged, to make sure that America fulfilled its promises and its ideals. These two men should be honored above all others. It is a sad state of affairs that they're not honored. It seems like a, a minuscule thing, but how do you love America How do you appreciate America if you do not respect the men that made sure we stayed America, or in George Washington's case, became America? It is a sad state of affairs. Christ, Constitution, capitalism, courage. Let's talk about Christ. There's a reason why it is important to understand natural rights. How long did you say I have, Sean? All right, so it's important that we understand that our Constitution was built and, and built upon natural law, built upon divine law. It is absolutely imperative that you understand this. In other words, our Constitution is based upon a moral code that our Creator instilled inside of his creation. And I'll explain how the First and Second Amendment show that or display that. We'll be back in a few.

I was a Cuban American, and the problem with the Cuban Americans is that we are the only ethnic group that you can make fun of and pay no consequence. The Cuban Americans in the United States could be made fun of, mocked, but no one will ever pay a price. Whether you are academia, whether you're the intelligentsia, whether you're in the news media, it doesn't matter. Why? Because we sided with the United States in the very big fight with the big Satan that was loved and adored for 60 years by the rest of the world.

That's, you know, I've never, I've never heard that before. I've often cited to my friends on the left, Armando Valladares against all hope. As the Bible they've gotta read to have even a glimpse. If they're an Anglo like me and they're Irish Catholic, they need to read that book. But I have never heard what you just said. I didn't realize that that is something you believe. I, I've heard it said that anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice, which I believe. I'm a Catholic. But you just said with great passion and conviction that this goes on all the time about Cuban Americans. And that's news to me, Congresswoman Salazar.

Well, but think about it. Think about it. They can deride us. They can make fun of us. They can do anything to us. Anyone. The academia, even the news organizations, and there is no price to pay.

Why?

If you were to do that to any other ethnic group in the United States, you would have to, "Oh, I apologize.

It's true.

I'm so sorry. We made a mistake." It never happens with the Cuban Americans.

Now, my next guest is involved in the effort to recall the governor of California, an effort that at one time seemed pretty fanciful, but no longer. You know it's getting serious when the governor's staff begins to call the effort a coup and suggest that it is being led in part by white nationalists. My guest is a vet of distribution, sales, and marketing, has served in senior exec roles at places like Corporate Express and Staples. He's now applying his expertise to state politics to create a team of volunteers and to create some sort of hopeful movement for conservatism in this state of California where there isn't a single Republican elected statewide. Please welcome coalition founding member of Recall Gavin 2020, Mike Netter. Mike, how are you?

Larry, I'm doing great today, except Gavin Newsom's still my governor, which I hope to change pretty soon.

You know, Mike, I've heard different things about how the recall effort is going. I heard you're just a smidge short of the signatures. I've heard you got the signatures. What's the truth?

Let me explain.

We need 12% of the people that voted for governor last time, which is technically 1,475,000 signatures. We're actually at that figure, but before the public gets too cocky, because they have to be verified signatures of reality, and we need 1.8 to 2 million of them. The good news is we have 5 weeks to go. And you want to hear some more amazing news, Larry?

Sure.

This is not only the largest initiative in American history, this is 90% powered by volunteers, not by the big political machine.

Trending now on the Eric Metaxas Welcome back to the Dennis Prager Show. The number to call in is 1-800-PRAGER-776. Again, that number, 1-800-PRAGER-776. Again, I am your fill-in host, Carl Jackson. I broadcast out of the Salem Radio Network in Orlando, Florida, AM 950, 94.9 FM The answer, it is an honor and a privilege again to be filling in for Dennis Prager. Let's start where I left off here. So conservatives want you to be somebody and Democrats want you to hate somebody. And that's basically the, the back and forth we find ourselves in right now. I'm not going to again insult you with talking about the sham impeachment. I mean, if you want to call in and, and, and, and air your opinion, I get it. And that's fine. I just, I do not want to insult your intelligence. And I, I just feel like it is a sad state of affairs that these people on the left are not held accountable for a sham impeachment, impeaching and trying to remove— let me say that again— impeaching and attempting to remove a citizen from public office. We are in a sad state of affairs, but we can win this thing, and we are going to win this thing again. Christ, Constitution, capitalism, compassion, courage. We're going to talk about these 5 C's, and then I'm going to tell you why we need to end Black History Month in order to bring about unity. First off, let's go back to this idea of, of Christ and why it is imperative, imperative that we understand natural law and a divine law. So basically, the moral code when it comes to natural law is a code that our Creator God— I believe that's Jesus Christ— has instilled in us, his creation. Okay, that has given us an ability to understand God's revealed law or his divine law. This is expressed in the book of Romans. I believe it starts in, uh, I believe it's chapter 1, verse 18, and throughout Romans 2. For those of you that know your way through the Bible. But it— Bible kind of breaks it down. But the founders were genius in what they— in, in what they implemented when our— where our Constitution is concerned. For example, let's take the First Amendment. We have the freedom of religion, we have the freedom of speech, we have the freedom of a free press, we can express our grievances to the government. It is absolutely amazing. Why religion? Why is that? Why is that so important? I mean, just think about it. Actually, let's do this exercise first. Let's do this exercise first. I'm going to prove to you that our First and Second Amendment— I won't go through the entire Bill of Rights— are divine in nature, and they're not systemically racist. So let's say freedom of speech. Let's say, Dennis, I— you're sitting across the table from me. Not sure, Dennis, sitting directly across the table from, from me. You guys can't see this, but we're going to try to play what, theater of the mind here.

Radio is for—

and then, all right, so I'm going to pick up this object. I have this big, big iPhone in my hand, and let's say I just You guys can't see this in the theater, or in the theater listening, but what Dennis did naturally was he put his arm up to catch it like the Lombardi Trophy. To catch it like the Lombardi— this is actually more illustrative of the Second Amendment. I'll go back to the first, but this is more illustrative of the Second Amendment, the freedom of self-defense. I was talking about this, uh, yesterday with Mark Walters of Armed American Radio. But these principles, these amendments, within these amendments are this natural law. See, God has put in us, right, our conscience, our, you know, our desire to be somebody and even to defend our own lives. So naturally, what happens with Dennis when I reach out to throw a phone across the room is he naturally decides to defend himself. That's something that man can't create. That's something that God instilled in us. Likewise, when it comes to free speech, if I'm chasing Dennis, or if I'm running after him with a knife, then more than likely Dennis is going to scream out for help. I mean, it may not sound too manly, but That's probably what he would do.

Or I might be armed.

Or you might— or you might be armed. We might go back to the Second Amendment. But these are things that God put in us naturally. We don't have to think about them. We know good and bad. We know right and wrong. We don't have to think about them. We don't have to discuss them. Babies come out pretty evil— evil is a strong word, but pretty selfish. Babies will know what they want. Immediately, almost upon, you know, they cry when they want food or when they want something or when they're angry at something. This is stuff that God has built inside of you from the beginning of your life. You know right and wrong, good and evil, because God the Creator has instilled that within you. This is natural law. This is what the founders came up with.

But Carl, what if I don't believe in God? Where does that put me?

The good thing is, is God created you anyway, and he instilled these things in you anyway. So that's the good news, right? So we have the freedom of religion. Why is a freedom of religion important? Not only is it important because we get to worship freely and express our love for God, But it's also important because religion gives us a deep sense of purpose. It gives us a deep sense of life's meanings. This is how brilliant our founders were. This goes beyond systemic racism, or they're thinking of white and black. Yes, yes, it took some time. Thank you, Abraham Lincoln. That's why we should have a national holiday to get this stuff in check. But we did it. But we did it. I talked to you about the freedom of speech. I talked to you about the right— well, I haven't talked to you about the right to assemble, but when we want to get a group of people together to, to, to, uh, to basically protest, peacefully protest, none of that BLM stuff, right? None of that Antifa stuff. The stuff on January 6th, that was mostly a peaceful protest. That's what I'm sticking with. You had 500,000 to a million people out there in some accounts, and you had a couple hundred people that act a fool. And then the left wants to act like it's World War II. So that's why I don't want to insult your intelligence. When we watch cities burn, when we watch businesses burn for the entire summer, and we didn't hear a peep from these leftists. We didn't hear a peep. They excused it.

Not even the people who actually ran those cities.

Yeah, just sickening. Just absolutely sickening. Our founders were brilliant, we can't deny it. Constitution, the rule of law versus the rule of man. What we're witnessing from the left, what we witnessed with this impeachment, making up rules as you go, that is the rule of, rule of man, just making stuff up as you go. But the Constitution, the rule of law, the referee in the game of freedom, is the best document that God has ever given man, and you should fight for it. Yes, I said that word. You should fight for it. And I don't mean physically, but you better show up in 2022. You better show up in 2024 because we need to get these people that hate America out of office. We'll be back in a few.

You're on fire, Carl.

Where do you see this ending? In other words, I fear that all of these ideologies are a snake swallowing its own tail. In other words, they basically destroy, destroy, they don't have the beginning of a clue what they would want to replace it with. Marxism? I really can't imagine what they're suggesting.

What they're suggesting is a woke ideology of so-called anti-racism that is a profound misnomer, that's really a profound race consciousness. And, you know, our institutions and our politics are downstream of culture, and they are destroying our culture one pillar at a time. And an extremely important element of culture throughout all human history is memory. It's knowing who you are as a people, what you're about, what your story is. And when Jesse Jackson 30 years ago had that ridiculous chant, you know, "Hey, hey, ho, ho, Western Civ has to go," that was really the first battle cry in this fight to make us forget who we are. And it's not just forgetting, it's also lying about who we are. We see this particularly in the 1619 Project and its poisonous view of America that wants to make the American founding about slavery, when the American founding was an incredible advance in human civilization and enlightenment and liberty and created in the North a movement against slavery that eventually would eliminate slavery in the entire country in the Civil War. But they want to efface all of that and build a new vision of America on the rubble that would be based on this left-wing ideology.

From the New York Post headline: Cuomo aide Melissa DeRosa admits they hid Nursing home data so feds wouldn't find out. Let's ask somebody who's definitely got an opinion coming from hosting his own show on Fox News. Not quite, it was only a 25-minute segment, but it was fabulous. From Congressional District Number 1 in New York, great friend of the show, Congressman Lee Zeldin. Welcome.

It's good to be back with you, Seb.

Congrats on that great hit. I have to ask you, can I— I'm just going to be super cynical for a second. This is a guy who was given what he was given an Emmy, an Emmy as governor for his use of TV briefings in his handling of the coronavirus. Now we find out they hid the stats of the deaths from the Fed so they wouldn't get in trouble. Is Governor Cuomo ever going to face any consequences?

An Emmy. And he wrote a self-congratulatory book on leadership of his response. And he started selling this ridiculous poster. I don't know if you— if you remember this story, but if you haven't seen it, it was absurd several months ago, praising himself and his— and the response. And that—

you—

what—

when he says, who cares, what you think about are the lives impacted, the families, the people who lost their mom or dad, grandmother, Jackson filling in for Dennis Prager.

If you want to call and be a part of the show, the number is 1-800-PRAGER-776. Also, I'm going to tell you, make sure you subscribe to PragerU. Make sure you see the film with, uh, with Dennis Prager and Adam Carolla, No Safe Spaces. And just read your— whatever you can get your hands on to read from Dennis Prager, do so. I promise you, you will grow wiser. I promise you, you will know how to, uh, you will know how to argue against the left, and not only argue against them but win, uh, based upon logic, based upon reason, based upon facts, based upon a moral code based upon values. Speaking of that, and I promise I'll go to the lines here, uh, but just quickly going back to these 5 C's, the reason why the founders are so genius in implementing Christ, no matter what their sinful nature is— will let all of you heathens that are without sin throw the first stone. It's amazing to me how many saints exist in the culture all of a sudden that hate America. I mean, their stuff doesn't stink. Basically, it is amazing to me, all of the moralists that have somehow appeared on the left all of a sudden. They didn't care for morality for decades, and all of a sudden they're the Messiah. It is amazing to me. But if we don't have a system of natural law, if we don't have a system where God is in it and implemented in it, which he is, then who's to say? Who's to say? There's no absolute truths, right? You could say that a woman is a man, God forbid, or a man is a woman, God forbid, or a baby in the womb is not a person, or a baby in the womb— thank you— is not a person when the Bible clearly says, I knew you before you were even born. I counted the amount of hairs on your head. Yeah, all right, not in my case, not in my case. I'm, I'm riding with a different kind of hairstyle today. If a man doesn't work, the Bible says he can't eat. But you have the left telling you, no, you don't need to work to eat, we'll be your God. This is why the Constitution is instrumental. The left wants to remove the Constitution. This is a bigger picture. Today I'm talking macro. If there's some breaking news, I promise I will get it to you, but I'm talking macro because it is important. That you get it. It's important that you know and you understand why we need to stay in this fight. It is important that you do not give up. This is the best country God has ever given man by far. It's not even close. And if you don't think so, move, leave, go figure it out. I used to live in a foreign country, Dennis. I don't know if you guys know this, Mr. Mind. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I used to live in Los Angeles, California. And then I moved to Florida. My eyes were opened. It took some time, but my eyes were open. But sometimes you got to see something else in order to understand how great America is. I was speaking to— you guys may remember former congressional candidate Kim Klacik. She was at an event with Willie Montague, who's running for the Congressional District 10 out here in Orlando, Florida. And she was talking to me about when she's traveled, when she's gone to places like the UK. It's not a Uh, you're, you're, you're British, you're Brit, you're not Black, you're not white, you're just a Brit. And that's the way that America should be, except we are being run by these people that are fascinated and are obsessed with identity politics. But we need God because we have to understand absolute truth. Again, the referee— our Constitution is the referee in the game of freedom. You think about capitalism, do you know Socialism isn't natural. It isn't natural. It isn't a part of natural law. Do you know anyone who grows up and aspires to be on welfare? Go ask a kid, what do you want to be when you grow up? Go ask a little kid. That kid will know naturally, based upon what God has put in that child, what they want to be. It is natural. It's unbelievable. I got to tell you, I got to be honest with you, I blame people of faith for this. We have sat by far too long and conceded the culture to the left. You better wake up, Christians. You better wake up, Jews. You better wake up, Catholics. and you better fight for your country. Just real quick before I go to the lines, I'm missing my homeboy that normally sits in studio with me. I want to give him a shout out. Aubrey Khan, the only African American I know that happens to be white.

Did you see his hat? He has a great triggering hat, a bright red Trump 2024 hat. You know, liberal heads will explode.

I told him don't come in the studio today because he always gets me in trouble. Feel bad. When we come back, I promise I'll go to the line. Sarah, you're up when we come back. This is Carl Jackson sitting in for Dennis Prager. We'll be back in a few.

I love that hat.

The 1918 virus iterated 12 times over the summer of 1918 and emerged deadlier. Do we know about these variants in any sort of way that alarms you, Andy, beyond the ordinary alarm that would arrive with any virus?

My job is probably to be in a state of alarm and playing through bad scenarios and trying to plan for those scenarios, even hoping many of them don't come to fruition. I think these variants are not good news. I think these variants suggest that there is enough multiplication of this virus out here that the virus is going to go through this evolutionary path more quickly than we had hoped to try to resist where it can. Now, the good news is that the major variant, the one coming out of England, UK, the one they call B.1.1.7, that the vaccine and human immunity seems to hold up very well against that. There are other mutations to the— where there's been more than one mutation to the spike protein, as has happened in South Africa, has happened in Brazil, where the vaccine is still effective but less effective, and where there is some evidence that pre-existing immunity doesn't work and doesn't hold. So these are signs that we are going to be like with the flu, facing something that will continue to change on us. Most of these changes are completely harmless and completely irrelevant. Most of these changes, and they've been, and this virus has been evolving this whole time in front of our eyes, have had no real impact. But occasionally they do. And that just means our science needs to be better.

I am here.

Hey Sarah, you got the mic, go ahead.

Well, I love everything you're talking about today, but earlier in the show you mentioned the national holidays, but particularly Presidents' Day. I've been thinking about this a long time, and I think that they should not be a day off to have a party and drink beer, but to learn about Washington and to learn about Lincoln and to learn about MLK. And when my kids were in school, they memorized Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. That's what they did to recognize him. So I think we're really missing it to miss out learning about how great America is. On Veterans Day, we should learn who they are, how many died, and why they died, and just reinforce how great this country is.

You know what, Sarah, we're, we're not in disagreement whatsoever. I totally agree with you. I think that they should learn these things. I don't mind them, quite frankly, being a national holiday as long as it's explained why they're a national holiday. It's going to be incumbent upon us as conservatives to teach our kids about these men. And obviously the schools aren't doing it, but unless you're, you know, you're homeschooling, hopefully some of you are, or many of you are homeschooling, but it's going to be incumbent upon us to do that. But I don't disagree with you, so thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Appreciate you being out there. Tom, let's go to Tom. Tom, you've got the mic.

Thank you, Carl. Honored to be on the show, sir. By the way, you are right up there with the great Dennis Prager. I've never heard such a brilliant insight in that God's hand is directly intertwined with the First and Second Amendment. Did you think of that on your own? That's beautiful.

Thank you. Thank you. I really do appreciate it. I'm not gonna for a second claim to be up there intellectually with Dennis Prager. He is a hero of mine. But I really do appreciate that compliment. And yes, yes, I do do a lot of thinking though. So I did, I, I did think about that, and I have written about that.

Very good. My main point— oh, by the way, my name is Tom, as you all know, and I've got nieces and nephews, so I'm right with you and Larry Elder. I'm an Uncle Tom, even though I'm a white guy. God bless Uncle Tom.

Hey, listen, well, we've got our own token African American that appears on my show every week. His name is— his name is Aubrey Khan. He happens to be white, but he's the only person I know that's actually from Africa.

So anyway, I'm a reverse Oreo. I'm black on the inside, white on the outside. Anyway, I'm not joking around. My main point, Carl, and it's a tragically disgusting point.

Okay.

When you look at the left wing, at the Democrat Party, and versus the Republican, what is a cornerstone of the Democrat Party? Pro-abortion. What is abortion? In my view, seems undeniable. It's the premeditated evil murder of God's precious little children. And it's especially hit the black community even harder. But all these little kids, my granddaughters, they give me a new lease on life. All of these little innocent humans murdered so evilly. A party that promotes that, that celebrates it in many cases, that wants to force you and me decent Christians to contribute financially to that evil effort. That's all I need to know about the left wing and the Democrat Party and all the hate, the cancel culture. The other baloney is inextricably tied to that. And I would say that's a persuasive argument to vote Republican.

Good call, Tom. What, you want to speak up, Tom?

Just so you know, I don't I didn't know if you knew. Do you know what Planned Parenthood was originally going to be called when Margaret Sanger founded it? She called it the Negro Project. That says all you need to know.

Dr. Alveda King actually speaks about that, and so does that website blackgenocide.org. I think it's Reverend Childress, I believe, is his name. But anyway, I appreciate the call, Tom. Thank you for being out there. Um, yeah, I mean, the, the, the whole concept of, of abortion, it always amazes me how people how women will say, and people on the left will say something to the effect of, well, my body, my choice. I wish we had that option with masks. But women will say, my body, my choice. Well, the problem is there's a little thing called DNA. So there's a little thing called science. The left always claims that they love science, but for some reason they conveniently forget that we now have this thing called this type science called DNA evidence. So we know that a baby is in a woman's body, but the baby has a separate DNA strand, so the baby is not of the woman's body. So there's your argument, uh, for those on the left in the future. And speaking of life, this is the thing. I don't know if you guys know, but Biden— let's pretend like he's really in charge, uh, but— and no, I'm sorry, and I'm not going to apologize for it. I am not going to put the word president in front of that man's name.

Call him Mr.

Call me whatever you want. I don't believe the man is all there. All right, um, and I'm not even going to go into the elections, but there's a lot of questions there. Regardless, this is a man that's now using— this is how disgusting the left is— they are now using the Parkland shooting to say that you don't have the God-given divine right outlined in our Constitution to protect yourself. So now Uh, Biden wants to eliminate or, or, or, or scrap on some new gun control laws, and this is absolutely ridiculous. Again, the right to self-defense is a God-given law. Again, like I was saying at the beginning of the show, if you missed it, if I were to throw or held an object across the table at Nostradamus, he would naturally instinctively throw his hand up in self-defense. Why? Because that is a characteristic that the Creator put inside of his creation.

I'd probably drop it, but I would try.

You know, when we get back, I want to talk about the Second Amendment real quick, and then I promise we'll move on. How do you end gun violence? Guys, God, and guns. We'll talk about it on the other side.

Now, my next guest is involved in the effort to recall the governor of California, an effort that at one time seemed pretty fanciful, but no longer. You know it's getting serious when the governor's staff begins to call the effort a coup. And suggested it is being led in part by white nationalists.

We'll move on to what is the main event at the moment, which is the radicalism of the Biden agenda, pushing a lot of stuff out unilaterally and also pushing a massive stimulus. You know, we all can agree, I think, we need some more COVID relief, but it's much, much bigger than that and has a massive national minimum wage increase that would hammer the job market at a time when we should be doing everything to support it.

It is almost as if, and I hesitate to say it because it doesn't sound sane, but it's almost as if they are trying to destroy the economy. It's, it's so bizarre. Do you— would you give them enough credit to say that they're not trying to bring some kind of socialism or big government dependence to us via these strange means? Because that's kind of what it looks like to me.

Yeah, that is what they're trying to do. I mean, it's based on a misbegotten but sincere view of what the country should be in their minds and how the economy works.

Welcome back to the Dennis Prager Show. My name is Carl Jackson. I'm filling in for Dennis Prager. I am your favorite Christian conservative American that happens to be Black.

Second favorite.

All right, if Candace Owens wants to take that moniker, she can have it. She's doing it.

Diamond and Silk are on the line.

She's doing a bang-up job.

I love that girl.

All right, um, so, um, anyway, Talking about the Second Amendment, so Joe Biden now is going after, after our guns, and the left always wants to pretend as if guns are the issue. There's some of you that are in the listening audience and you've been duped into believing that guns are the issue, that objects are the issue rather than values. So it is funny to me, it is absolutely astonishing. This is the culture that we live in today, and this is why we need to start pushing back. Those of you that are afraid to speak up It's time to speak up. It's time to open those pie holes. Because here's the deal, think about— we're talking about a Democrat Party, we're talking about the left. These people don't value life. These people are willing to kill babies, yet they will cry out on gun violence. Or actually, they really won't cry out on gun violence, because if you go and look at any blue city, any, any Democratic city— I don't care if you go to Los Angeles, I don't care if you go to New York, I don't care if you go to Camden, New Jersey. I don't care if you go to Detroit. Look at the blue cities. Look at where Chicago— look at where the most gun violence is. And these places have the strictest gun control, uh, restrictions around. So ask yourself, how is it possible that I live in a city that has the strictest gun control laws, yet we have the most murder? Rapes, robbing. It's because it isn't about a piece of metal. It is about a person's heart. It really is as simple as that. How do you end gun violence? Guys, God, and guns. Well, Carl, what do you mean about guys, God, and guns? Well, I'm glad you asked. Here's what I mean about guys. I'm talking about dads. Fellas, see, here's what you have to understand. Some of these young men that are willing to put a gun in their head in order to keep— in order to commit a criminal act, oftentimes you go speak to some of these juvies, or unfortunately some people, some people decided to go to the military when they were younger. I chose another government institution for a short period of time called jail. So you can talk to people in there And it's amazing, it's amazing how so many of these young men don't have fathers and dads that they can admire. So half the time, part of the issue with gun violence is there wasn't a dad in their home, dare I say it, beating their behinds with a belt and setting them straight. So the first person of authority that they come in contact with is a cop, and they don't know how to act. and it's the cop that has to get them straight. Dads are important, guys. Ladies, stop pretending like men aren't important in this society. Let's stop playing this transgender game. I am so sick and tired of this. It is sad what we're doing to the gender dysphoria community.

Out indeed.

The 1918 virus iterated 12 times over the summer of 1918 and emerged deadlier. Do we know about these variants in any sort of way that alarms you, Andy? Beyond the ordinary alarm that would arrive with any virus.

There are other mutations to the— where there's been more than one mutation to the spike protein, as has happened in South Africa, This happened in Brazil where the vaccine is still effective but less effective and where there is some evidence that preexisting immunity doesn't work and doesn't hold. So these are signs that we are going to be, like with the flu, facing something that will continue to change on us. Most of these changes are completely harmless and completely irrelevant. Most of these changes, and they've been in this as this virus has been evolving this whole time in front of our eyes, have had no real impact. But occasionally they do. And that just means our science needs to be better.

Where do you see this ending? In other words, I fear that all of these ideologies are a snake swallowing its own tail. In other words, they basically destroy, destroy. They don't have the beginning of a clue what they would want to replace it with. Marxism— I really can't imagine what they're suggesting.

What they're suggesting is a woke ideology of so-called anti-racism. Racism that is a profound misnomer, that's really a profound race consciousness. And, you know, our institutions and our politics are downstream of culture, and they are destroying our culture one pillar at a time. And an extremely important element of culture throughout all human history is memory. It's knowing who you are as a people, what you're about, what your story is. And when Jesse Jackson 30 years ago had that ridiculous chant, you know, hey, hey, ho, ho, Western Civ has to go. That was really the first battle cry in this fight to make us forget who we are. And it's not just forgetting, it's also lying about who we are. We see this particularly in the 1619 Project and its poisonous view of America that wants to make the American founding about slavery, when the American founding was an incredible advance in human civilization and enlightenment and liberty, and created in the North a movement against slavery that eventually would eliminate slavery in the entire country in the Civil War. But they want to efface all of that and build a new vision of America on the rubble that would be based on this left-wing ideology.

He was given an Emmy, an Emmy as governor for his use of TV briefings in his handling of the coronavirus. Now we find out they hid the stats of the deaths from the Fed so they wouldn't get in trouble. Is Governor Cuomo ever going to face any consequences?

An Emmy, and he wrote a self-congratulatory book on leadership of his response, and he started selling this ridiculous poster. I don't know if you remember this story, but if you haven't seen it, it was absurd several months ago, praising himself and the response. What, when he says who cares, what you think about are the, the lives impacted, the families, the people who lost their mom or dad, grandmother or grandfather.

I really need to hurry up and get through this. And get to the reasons why I believe Black History Month should end, uh, in order to bring about more unity. I also want to talk about the biggest scandal that the left wants to ignore, and that's what's happening to their homeboy, uh, Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York. That is the one of the biggest scandals in American history, and the left is trying their best to stay silent.

That's—

it's one of the reasons I won't insult your intelligence by blabbing on and on about this impeachment. Because what that impeachment hearing was was a distraction from all of the dirt that the left is doing. They don't want you to pay attention to how the Democrat Party, this racist party, is absolutely destroying the country. They want you to be dumb. They want you to just look at your TV and believe after we witness 2 months of— 2 to 3 months of rioting and destroying of business by BLM terrorists and Antifa terrorists, that all of a sudden it's Trump supporters that are the problem. And again, I reiterate, there were approximately anywhere estimates from 500,000 to 1 million people in Washington, D.C. on January 6th. Of that massive number, you had a couple of hundred people that breached the Capitol, some Trump supporters Yes, some left-wing radicals. Yes, but a very, very tiny amount. And they didn't destroy people's businesses. They didn't destroy people's homes. So I'm not gonna— I'm not gonna insult your intelligence. We have James O'Keefe in the third hour, so make sure you stay tuned for that. He's going to talk about cancel culture. He was kicked off of Twitter. We'll get into that. We'll get into the state of journalism with him. That guy is a He's an amazing guy. So I look forward to speaking, uh, to James O'Keefe at 2:30, uh, PM Eastern Standard Time, or wherever, uh, you may be. But I want to just finish up with this, this concept of guns and guns are bad. I know that if you grow— if you've grown up in the hood like I did and all you've known is gun violence, you think, wait a minute, guns are crazy, we shouldn't have guns. But here's— I just want you to check your brain for a sec. It's always the criminals that are armed, and the innocent bystanders are the good citizens that cannot defend themselves. So when I left that foreign country known as Los Angeles, California, and I came to Orlando, Florida, I saw a different world. I saw guys driving around with rifles in the back of their pickup trucks, and I thought to myself, oh my Lord, I just left the ghetto because I didn't want to get killed, and I'm gonna get shot or lynched right here in Florida. Did that happen? No. Wow. No. Little did I know, uh, even one guy that I befriended would tell me how he would go hunting, you know, after, uh, after school on occasions with his dad, all this stuff. And I was like, wow, really? That's it? You're not trying to, uh, uh, shoot some Crips and Bloods? It was— it's so weird. So once I got saved by— saved from the wrath of God, for those of you that don't understand what that means when I'm speaking Christian lingo— some of this stuff started to— started to get it. But the issue with how you end gun violence, again, it's guys, it's dads, it's God. See, if you don't value life, the left is teaching you you don't have to value life. A baby—

if—

ask a mother, even ask a woman who is quote unquote pro-choice, you know, if she's pregnant, even if she's not. Hey, if you get pregnant, what's in your stomach? And without thinking about it, in a typical— well, a baby. Oh, oh, it is, it, it is a baby. It is a baby. It is a life. See, but we have a party that's telling you you don't have to value life, right? You don't. Of course you have to value life. Of course you have to value life. So those that value life can handle a gun responsibly because they're not going to need it, they're not going to use it unless they absolutely need to use it. But the left and many criminals don't value life. So we can't continue teaching our children that, hey, you can devalue life and expect for violence to cease. It just won't happen. That's why you have to have God in the culture. That's why— that is the only way. John Adams said our country can't survive without a, uh, without a moral, uh, people, if you will. And I'm paraphrasing because I just forgot it off the— but you— we can't survive. Our Constitution is wholly inadequate without a moral people. This is important. And then guns. It is so funny. You can go and check the stats for yourself. I encourage you to research John Lott. He is a great statistician when it comes to this stuff. But research how many deaths there are by gun violence in Democrat-run cities like Los Angeles, like New York. I mean, I think the murder rate in Los Angeles in 2020 was up like over 700%. It was absolutely ridiculous.

Don't forget Chicago.

Yeah, Chicago. Yeah, absolutely. The number— it's always Democrat-run cities. It's always cities that already have the strictest gun laws. But the left don't care about morals. They don't value life. But somehow they want you to think, hey, if we take away these guns, you're going to be safe. That's not what it's about, folks. You have to understand what the Second Amendment is about. God gave us the Second Amendment. Did he give you guns? No, he didn't give you guns per se, but he gave us the material to be able to build some guns and to defend our lives in the most efficient way possible. But what it is with the government is their goal is to become God and to weaken you. Matter of fact, I'll get into this in the next hour as well. What do you think the— what is a $15 minimum wage open borders and COVID lockdowns all have in common?

Control.

Absolute control. And they're trying to do something else, so we'll get into this a little bit. Actually, we'll just, we'll just wait for the third hour. Remind me that I said that so I don't— so that I don't blow past that. Let's go ahead and go back to the lines real quick because I see some people have been waiting for a while. Uh, let's go to Ken. Ken, you got the mic. Ken, are you there?

Uh-oh, guess not.

All right, let's go to, uh, let's go to Keith. Ken is there. All right, Ken, you got the mic.

Yeah, Ken, this is Ken. Can you hear me?

Yeah, yeah, go ahead, Ken.

Okay, all right, um, I'm just wondering why the, uh, the big news item today, which I would think is breaking news, isn't the, uh article by Molly Ball in the February 15th Time magazine, The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election. It's an incredible article about what the, uh, the left did, primarily the left, in making sure that Joe Biden won. They give the whole thing, it's almost like they're bragging about it. And, uh, I, I would love to hear the comments from conservative talk radio to, uh, You know, repeat some of this stuff because it's— they give everything. It's like, here's how it happened, folks, and we want you to know about it.

It was written as if they think they got away with it and can't be punished.

You know what, we, we actually on local radio, we have been talking about that, as a matter of fact. And I think the best antidote to that, because they're throwing it in our face, there is an article written by, I think it's Hans von Bukowski— I think I'm saying his name correctly— of the Heritage Foundation, Daily Signal. And basically it talks about what we need to do, uh, people on the right, to improve voting laws, election laws. I think it's 9 steps or something to that effect, but just Google it on the Daily Signal, the, the Heritage Foundation's, their blog, and you'll find that. That is the best antidote can. And not only do I encourage you to read that, I encourage you to share it and go ahead and make that happen in your own community. It's one thing that I'm going to be getting involved in, uh, in my community, make sure— making sure that our elections are as legit as they can be. But anyway, thank you for the call, Ken. I appreciate you, uh, being out there. So, Guys, God, and Guns. Listen, you want to stop criminals with guns? It's a good idea to have good guys with bigger guns, and it stops the crime. Stops. That's what happened when you move to red states and free societies. We'll be back in a few.

And if you remember Parkland, which happened—

Hey, it's Prager! Welcome back to the Dennis Prager Show. My name is Carl Jackson and I am filling in for Dennis Prager. Again, it is an honor to sit in for Mr. Prager, the man that I feel is the wisest conservative on radio here. The number to call into the program: 1-800-PRAGER-776. Again, that number: 1-800-PRAGER-776. And I'm going to encourage you guys, you guys got kids, you got grandkids, You want to, you want to teach them how to fight back intellectually against the left. PragerU is a good resource to do that. Also, you should donate there if you want to win back the culture. You're going to, or we're going to have to win, uh, the youth. Uh, Prager is in that fight. Dennis Prager is in that fight with PragerU. So make sure you support them. Uh, if you are considering sending your kid to college, I would just ask you to please watch No Safe Spaces with Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager, uh, and just make a wise decision after that. And of course, you can read Dennis Prager's columns weekly every Tuesday. Make sure you read those. You'll grow in knowledge. You'll become a conservative giant like Mr. Prager himself and get some, uh, get some wisdom. So please do that. All right, just, uh, let me, let me talk about the Black History Month and why I think it's time to go ahead and end Black History Month. And I know what a lot of you are saying out in the listening audience if you happen to, uh, happen to share my skin color. Well, I love you too. So it's time to end Black History Month. And the reason why I say that isn't because of the people that are calling me names in the listening audience right now. It's because it's done more to suppress American history than it has done to lift up the Black community in America. According to history.com, the origins of Black History Month begins in 1915 when a Harvard-trained historian, Carter G. Woodson— I'm sure many of you in this audience know him— and Minister Jesse E. Moorland founded the then Association for the Study of Negro Life and History. This is an organization that's dedicated to researching and promoting achievements of Blacks and other peoples of African descent. In 1926, the group sponsored a National Negro History Week, so choosing the second week of February to coincide with the birthdays of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. Again, I argued at the top of the first hour that we need to have national holidays for George Washington and Lincoln in order to make sure that we have a sense of, uh, pride in America. Regardless of how you may feel about the man, I guarantee you don't know the history. But the fact that George Washington, uh, helped create this system of governance by stepping back and refusing to be a king— he set the tone, he set the precedent, he set the example for presidents in the future. And then you have Abraham Lincoln, who of course restored the Union. It took hundreds of thousands of deaths to do so. But these are men that deserve to be honored because they put in place the greatest Constitution— not Abraham Lincoln, but the founders— the greatest Constitution, the greatest book, or the rule of law that has ever been known to man. That is, that is, natural law just permeates our Constitution. So it isn't systemically racist, it is actually systemically Divine. And those people that are talking about it's systemically racist and we need equity and not equality, let me just say for the Christians that sound like you're a BLM protester or a social justice warrior, shame on you. Shame on you. Any person that claims to be a person of faith and you sound like one of these social justice fools in the street, shame on you. Go to your church and repent today. And if your church is closed, find another one. Find one worth going to. Quite frankly, I'm so sick of the weaklings that I've seen. Let me say this just real quick: woke Christians are weak Christians. I don't mean they're weak people per se, but they're weak Christians. They're baby Christians. There's a gap that's missing. They don't understand how to bridge the things of Christ, the things of the Bible, to politics. And this is crucial. So if you hear a Christian that's using the same mantra as BLM, let them know, hey man, that ain't right. What are you, a baby Christian? Are you talking about equity? You're talking about all white people are inherently racist? So you're saying that God didn't instill anything in these people where they can change their hearts and minds and repent? Is that what you're saying? They won't know how to respond. Because the left doesn't think, they emote. That's all they do. That is all they do. Going back to this, the left has to tear down the legacies of even Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln because they have a bad track record, which I'll get into shortly, when it comes to civil rights. And I promise you, I'll get to this Cuomo story. I want to make sure that we get to that. So in the decades following— returning to this column— in the decades following, um, mayors across the country began issuing annual proclamations recognizing Negro History Week as a result of the renewed civil rights movement of the 1960s and a growing awareness of Black identity. Negro History Week evolved into Black History Month on many college campuses Finally, in 1976, here's a racist for you, another Republican racist that I'm going to mention. Um, but this Republican racist by the name of Gerald Ford— and for those of you that know better, obviously I'm being facetious here— but Gerald Ford recognized Black History Month and called upon Americans to, quote, seize the opportunity to honor the too often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history. Republican. That's fuck on Republican. And then you have Richard Nixon, Art Fletcher, father of affirmative action, which I don't think is needed today, but initially I do believe that it was. Other Republicans. It's amazing how much Republicans have done for the Black community. And they don't even know it, and they never get credit for it. Never get credit for it. I didn't know it. I was upset, highly upset. Went to Los Angeles Unified School District schools and didn't know crud about this stuff. Absolutely amazing. So today though, you know what Black History Month has become? Black History Month isn't necessarily Black History Month. It's become a tool for the academics. It's become a tool for Democrats. It's become a tool for these race pimps out there to perpetuate their little revisionist history that comports to their agenda to transform America. And as a result, you see more young Black men and women who grew up in a society that was not racist acting like they're victims. They're acting like they're entitled. They're acting like they can't achieve anything in this world. It's amazing. It's amazing what we've done to Black people and Black culture. We came out of the promised land, and we are— or we, we walked into the promised land, and then we just returned to the desert. It is the craziest thing. We'll be back in a few.

I would say, I would say a few things. One is you have law enforcement, you have prosecutors at other levels of government that could take action. That's the first thing. Secondly, the New York Republican congressional delegations— and our numbers are increasing. Claudia Tenney won her—

Yes.

Was finally certified the winner of her race and was sworn in this past week. 8 of us today sent a letter to the Department of Justice with regards to this obstruction of Justice, a case that's emerging, uh, calling on the Department of Justice to investigate this charge. Now, you have a confirmation hearing that's coming up, uh, Merrick Garland, the nominee to be the next Attorney General. Right inside of that confirmation hearing is a great opportunity for senators to maybe ask about this letter, or, you know, put aside, you know, my letter that was sent with my colleagues today, just asking about the underlying issue. And you can't allow, with all these different confirmation hearings, the person who's answering your question to just not give you any answer on any of this. One of the things I wanted to go through is how the Democrats tampered with evidence. And I was going through it with our team. I said, you do know that Eric Swalwell, who's a lover of Fang Fang, the Chinese Communist Party spy, he tampered with evidence. And David Schoen, to his great credit, came out and proved that point, that Eric Swalwell And this is why this is not a trial. This is, this is a, this is a Hollywood Broadway production. That's all this is. In a real trial, you'd say, Your Honor, this evidence is tampered with. So you had Swalwell, the, the lover of Fang Fang, who came out and said that Donald Trump called for the cavalry to come. Cavalry. Now, Anyone in the Christian world knows that there's a difference between Calvary and Calvary. I sometimes, without— unintentionally mispronounce one or the other, but I know the difference. Calvary, C-A-L. Cavalry. One is where Christ was crucified. The other is horse-mounted, infant, horse-mounted, horse-mounted military. So Eric Swalwell reads Jennifer Lawrence's tweet, who says, Mr. President, the cavalry is coming. So Eric Swalwell then comes out and says, well, on the House impeachment floor, you see here, President Trump, he was calling in for reinforcements. And the cavalry is coming. Now, to an untrained eye, you're like, well, there might be something, you know, maybe there might be— it's nothing.

Again, my name is Carl Jackson filling in for Mr. Prager, and I'm talking about why it's time to end Black History Month. I want to go ahead and, and, and play this clip really quick, and then promise, I'll promise I'll go to you, Keith, on the line next. This is from 2008. This is a clip of Morgan Freeman on 60 Minutes with Mike Wallace. Listen to this clip. This guy nails it. You're going to relegate my history to a month?

Oh, come on. What do you do with yours?

Which month is White History Month?

Well, come on, tell me. Well, I'm Jewish.

Okay, which month is Jewish History Month?

There isn't one.

Oh, oh, why not?

Do you want one?

No, no, no, I don't either. I don't want a Black History Month. Black history is American history. How are we going to get rid of racism and stop talking about it? I'm going to stop calling you a white man. Yeah, and I'm going to ask you to stop calling me a black man.

I know you as Mike Wallace.

You know know me as Norman Freeman.

You know what I'm saying?

I know this white guy named Mike Wallace, you know what I'm saying?

That was right on time. Thank you, Sean, for that. That was right on time. Do you guys understand? Do you even know that 95%— for all of you little social justice warrior racist bigots out there, and some of you that are Christian that need to go repent— Um, do you know that 95% of whites living in America today have absolutely no connection whatsoever to the American slave trade? None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Yet you want to sit here and act like God and condemn people you don't know just based upon their skin color. Oh, it's not racist because they're white? Says who? Says who? Says you? A person? A mere mortal? You better watch your step. I better not say that. Be careful how I word this. I better be careful. Figuratively, you're figuratively speaking. When it comes to God judging your heart, you don't get to determine who's racist and who's not. You as a person don't get to determine and pretend as if you know what's in a person's heart just based upon their skin color. That is a sin. That is racist. Can Blacks be racist? Of course Blacks can be racist. I hear them all the time. They call me names all the time. Of course blacks can be racist. You don't have— this is why natural law is important. You as a human being don't get to determine what's in a person's heart. You don't get to judge that person's heart. God does that.

Isn't that one of the Ten Commandments? Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Exactly right. And it's sick. And we have an entire Democrat Party that is absolutely— I'm sorry, There are Democrats— I'm sure there are good, nice, uninformed, gullible Democrats out there. And then there are leftists. Your party has been co-opted by the radical, godless, evil left, and you should speak up as well and say something. It's absolutely ridiculous where we've, uh, what we've come to. I want you to consider America's forgotten history. We had— this is why I don't like Black History Month. We should be teaching, just as Morgan Freeman said, it shouldn't be Black History Month. Black history is American history. You want to assimilate? You want to feel as though the country isn't racist? Let's look at the achievements Blacks have made throughout the year and some of the suffering throughout the year when the time is right. Just like every other culture and nation, and realize that we've gotten to a point, thanks to our founders, thanks to our founders, that we have developed a nation, a constitution that has repentance built in.

I was a Cuban American, and the problem with the Cuban Americans is that we are the only ethnic group that you can make fun of and pay no consequence. The Cuban Americans in the United States could be made fun of, mocked, But no one will ever pay a price, whether you are academia, whether you're the intelligentsia, whether you're in the news media, it doesn't matter. Why? Because we sided with the United States in the very big fight with the big Satan that was loved and adored for 60 years by the rest of the world.

You know, I've never heard that before. I've often cited to my friends on the left, Armando Valladares Against All Hope as the Bible they've gotta read to have even a glimpse. And that's news to me, Congresswoman. Mensalazar.

We made a mistake." It never happens with a Cuban American.

Now my next guest is involved in the effort to recall the governor of California, an effort that at one time seemed pretty fanciful, but no longer.

Larry, I'm doing great today except Gavin Newsom's still my governor, which I hope to change pretty soon.

You know, Mike, I've heard different things about how the recall effort is going. I've I've heard you're just a smidge short of the signatures. I've heard you got the signatures. What's the truth?

Let me explain.

We need 12% of the people that voted for governor last time, which is technically 1,475,000 signatures. We're actually at that figure, but before the public gets too cocky, because they have to be verified signatures, the reality— and we need 1.8 to 2 million of them. The good news is we have weeks to go. And you want to hear some more amazing news, Larry?

Sure.

This is not only the largest initiative in American history, this is 90% powered by volunteers, not by the big political machine.

Also Twitter and Parler, both @CarlJacksonShow. And also you can go to my website, carljacksonshow.com. And read all of my columns there. We've been talking about ending Black History Month and why I think it's really important for us to start healing this racial divide. Before I continue though, let me go ahead and go on the line to see some of you have been waiting for a while. Let's go to Keith. Keith, you've got the mic.

Yeah, it's good to hear from you, Carl. You know, I, I really love your dissertation on Natural law. I haven't heard this, uh, you know, expressed other than myself. I talk about all the time. I'm a self-defense instructor, but I love the way you put it. And I want to kind of add to what you said. I want to piggyback on something from a biblical perspective. If you think of Moses and his staff, uh, Samson and the jawbone of an ass, a jackass, Dennis Prager. David and his slingshot. Those are three great examples of how God used other instruments, improvisation, you know, improvised weapons to fulfill his purpose and defeat the enemy. So I'm just saying, I said that to say that the Second Amendment, that right to keep and bear arms, means weapons, which goes beyond firearms. And I believe that, and I believe the founders believed that because they had what they had at the time. I mean, when Truman used the bomb, first A-bomb, that was a just war that we used against Japan. So I think that I just wanted to have, you know, let people know the Second Amendment clause talking about the right to keep and bear arms means more than just firearms. And yet, you know, we been, uh, we have been limited in how we're able to use weapons for self-defense in California. Every other weapon seems to be a felony.

I gotta tell you, Keith, that is a good call. Such a good call. I'm gonna steal it from my own local show and pretend like I came up with it. That was a—

yeah, why not?

No, that was good stuff. I really appreciate you being, uh, out there. Good, uh, good call. Good call. All right, thanks for the call. Let's go to, uh, John. We've got John on the line. John, you've got the mic.

Yo, Carl. Hey, Carl. Uh, going back to the general election, I disagree with you that we are going to win anything in 2022. And let me, let me tell you why. Um, in order to do that, you're going to have to eliminate expansion of voting times. You're going to have to have voter ID in every state and require that, get rid of voting machines and go back to physically counting ballots overseen by both Republicans and Democrats, and you're going to have to eliminate mail-in voting. I don't know how in the world we're ever going to do that. And I mean, it's, it's kind of the horse is out of the barn. So I, I think we're corrupt.

Hey, John, uh, John, listen, I understand. I've been exactly where you're at, but it took me a day to get over that, and I'm going to encourage you to do the same. We can win in 2022, and we will win in 2022 if wherever you are, you get out there and get involved. Again, I'm going to encourage you to go to dailysignal.com and read this column by, um, man, Hans von Spock. I don't know how to pronounce his name. I think it's Hans von Spockowski. And it talks about 9 steps that you can do, practically speaking, in order to make sure your elections are in good shape. Here's the bottom line: conservatives have to become activists. It's as simple as that. We have to get involved. It doesn't mean all of us are going to be a Candace Owens or, or a Charlie Kirk or James O'Keefe, who's coming up in the next hour. That may not be our calling, but it may be that we'll be a poll watcher right? It may be that we'll talk to one or two more neighbors than we did last time. It may mean that we get off of social media, right, and start talking to our neighbors. It may be as simple as starting to push back on the left's narrative that this is a systemically racist, uh, country. So with all due respect, John, I understand where you're at. We can— we have to step up. We cannot take this country for granted anymore. We cannot— this is what 2020 should have taught us. We can't take elections for granted anymore. We are dealing with the left. They cheat. All right, let's get in the game and let's win this country back. Thanks for the call. Let's go to, uh, Sharon on the line. Sharon, you've got the mic.

Hi, Carl.

Hello, go ahead, Carl.

Yes. Um, I have two questions. Hey, I have two questions and two comments. My first question is— and I'll give you the questions and the comments, and then I'll let you, um, have the mic back, okay? Um, so my first, my first question is concerning, um, Marjorie Greene, because a house divided cannot stand. Could the Republicans the 43 Republicans vote amongst themselves to have a deputy, because she's not going to resign her post, have a deputy where they can represent what they want to put forward for their people? That's my first question, because she is not a good representative for us, the people. Um, my second question is, our president number 45 should be number 46, but needless to say, um, he could not. Marjorie Greene, it is so, um, common sense for anyone to look at that second impeachment saying he could not incite people. One, because of his history, he does not incite war. Secondly, costumes were prepared, so it was not spot on from his—

Hey, we're coming up to a break, Sharon, so let me go ahead and answer. And I appreciate you calling in. First of all, let me deal with the Notorious MTG. I'm going to make some of you a little hostile and riled up. I think it's a shame that the Republican Party abandoned her so quickly. I understand that she has some crazy thoughts, but let me give you some names. AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Nancy Pelosi— they got their cray-cray We get our cray-cray. At least ours believes in the Constitution. Yay for crazy Auntie Margie.

He was given an Emmy, an Emmy as governor for his use of TV briefings in his handling of the coronavirus. Now we find out they hid the stats of the deaths from the feds so they wouldn't get in trouble. Is Governor Cuomo ever going to face any consequences?

An Emmy, and he wrote a self-congratulatory book book on leadership of his response, and he started selling this ridiculous poster. I don't know if you remember this story, but if you haven't seen it, it was absurd several months ago, praising himself and the response. Liberal Justice Louis Brandeis Dennis Prager once said that states are laboratories of democracy, that we will be able to tell what states are succeeding and failing. Remember, what makes the American Republican system different— small r, not Republican Party, but a system based on a constitutional republic— is that the states created the federal government. The federal government did not create the states. That distinction is so incredibly important. We're a coalition of states. Or coalition of sovereign entities that voluntarily agreed to a national compact. That is why those of us that are conservatives don't like the heavy hand of the federal government. We say, why does the Department of Education exist? Why do you need a Department of Labor when you have a Georgia Department of Labor? The federal government should be there for federal crimes, military when needed as a social safety net, but who does it be left to fix interstate commerce?

And a privilege to do so. We're talking about why we need to end Black History Month, and part of the reason is, if you heard the audio of Morgan Freeman, the actor, earlier speaking to, uh, Mike Wallace in 2008, uh, basically asked him, hey, do you have a, uh, is there a White History Month or a Jewish History Month, so on, etc.? Well, I don't want a Black History Month. The truth of the matter is, uh, Black history is American history, and the way that we're all going to get along is to start acting like it.

And it took you 13 years to catch up with Morgan Freeman.

Good to have you with us. That's all, that's all. He seems like a good guy, so that's, uh, that's okay, uh, that's okay with me. But so here, here are some of the things that I feel like, uh, you need to know. Some of you may be hearing some of this information for the first time. Oh, and by the way, let me just mention this really quick. PragerU, make sure you check out the videos at PragerU, but there's two that I really want you to check out. And it's Carol Swain is in a couple of videos. One, she talks about the Three-Fifths Compromise, and it is— it isn't at all what you think. But I want you to go on to prageru.com for yourself and check that out. Carol Swain, just look her up. Also, she talks about the Big Switch. I'll get into that a little bit because that's a big lie. Um, so we'll break that down, but many of you don't know that. So let's get, let's get back to why I believe it's time to end Black History Month, uh, in the time remaining in this hour. So here's some forgotten history that you may want to consider. So William Ellison was a former slave that turned a brutal slave owner. He's a Black guy, obviously, uh, that helped finance the Confederate Army. Um, so we're familiar with Abraham Lincoln, right? Uh, and, uh, who signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Again, he should have a national holiday. That freed the slaves. But did you know about Hiram Rhodes Revels? See, I didn't know about Hiram Rhodes Revels. No one taught me that Hiram Rhodes Revels existed. Uh, no one taught me that Blanche Bruce existed. Who's Hiram Rhodes Revels? Who's Blanche Bruce? Well, these are only the first Black senators ever elected to national office, and they happen to be elected during Reconstruction. So you had Hiram Rhodes Revels that was elected and served from 1870 to '71, and you have Blanche Bruce that served 6 years from 1875 to 1881. On top of that, there were 21 Black congressmen that served in the House of Representatives during Reconstruction. Why don't you know about that history? I'll tell you why you don't know about that history. Could it be— it's just my thought— is it possible that you weren't taught this history because they happen to be Republicans. It's crazy. Real GOP history. Real GOP history. Despite what you've heard, the first Civil Rights Act was passed in 1866, not 1974—

I'm—

or 1964, I'm sorry. I'm going to talk to you about how JFK and LBJ co-opted that whole thing. This is Carl Jackson in for Dennis Prager. We'll be back in a few.

We'll move on to what is the main event at the moment, which is the radicalism of the Biden agenda, pushing a lot of stuff out unilaterally, and also pushing a massive stimulus. We all can agree, I think, we need some more COVID relief, but it's much, much bigger than that and has a massive national minimum wage increase that would hammer the job market at a time when we should be doing everything to support it.

It is almost as if, and I hesitate to say it because it doesn't sound insane, but it's almost as if they are trying to destroy the economy. It's, it's so bizarre. Do you, would you give them enough credit to, to say that they're not, uh, trying to bring some kind of socialism or big government dependence to us via these strange, uh, means? Because that's kind of what it looks like to me.

Yeah, that is what they're trying to do. I mean, it's based on a mis— begotten but sincere view of what the country should be in their minds and how the economy works. But if you get closer to where you are in the world than where I am at the moment, a place like Alabama, the median wage is $15 an hour. That means— I'm not a statistics guy, but half the people make less than that. So, what's going to happen to their jobs when you mandate that they all have to make $15 $15 an hour. Well, they're either no longer going to have jobs, or their hours are going to be cut, or the employers are going to find a way to automate. So, this just makes zero sense. I'm all in favor of a tight labor market. I think that was one of the beauties of the Trump economy when it was really cooking prior to the pandemic.

The impeachment trial will proceed. Dun dun dun. Big vote yesterday. That's one headline. USA Today, huge font. Trial to proceed. Chilling video. Managers open. By reviving riot. And then the vote was taken, 56-44. 6 Republicans joined with the Democrats in claiming that this show trial, this snap impeachment, is constitutional. Bill Cassidy, for some reason, out of the clear blue last week, he's on TV saying, oh, it's a show trial, doesn't mean anything, it's unconstitutional. Unconstitutional, but because he didn't like the performance of the president's lawyers yesterday, somehow he decided to vote suddenly that it was constitutional. But then again, that brings you to 6 Republicans, which means you're far short from the 17 Republican threshold to get a conviction. They've given away the ending. The vote yesterday sort of confirms that Trump will be acquitted. Which will lead to the former president correctly claiming he's been vindicated, certainly vindicated from an impeachment, you know, claim that he incited an insurrection. I don't know how many times, how many places you can play this.

I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building. To peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.

So the Democrats claim that Trump saying go peacefully, let your voice be heard, or make your voice heard peacefully incites a riot and an insurrection. Great. Good luck with that.

In a real trial, you'd say, Your Honor, this evidence is tampered with. So you had Swalwell, the lover of Fang Fang, who came out and said that Donald Trump called for the Calvary to come. Cavalry. Now, anyone in the Christian world knows that there's a difference between Calvary and Calvary. I sometimes, without unintentionally mispronounce one or the other, but I know the difference. Calvary, C-A-L, cavalry.

In 2020, over 1,500 of you Prager's listeners took his advice and made the switch from your overpriced wireless carrier to PureTalk. What are the rest of you waiting for? If you're with AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile, your family could save over $800 a year just by switching to PureTalk. You get the same great coverage because they use the exact same towers as one of those big carriers, but you save a fortune. I know— well, Prager knows because he's a customer. By the way, PureTalk is the top-rated wireless company by Consumer Affairs with the absolute best customer service team based right here in America. Sound good? It gets better. Right now, get unlimited talk, text, and 6 gigs of data for just $30 a month. And if you go over on data, they don't charge you for it. From your cell phone, dial #250 and say Dennis Prager to save 50% off your first month. Again, dial #250 and say Dennis Prager to save 50% off your first month. That's #250. Say Dennis Prager. PureTalk is simply smarter wireless. Okay, this is Carl Jackson filling in for Dennis Prager. I want to quickly get back to why we need to end Black History Month, and partially because they don't teach Black history as a whole in our government schools. It's the reason why I had no idea that it was the Democrat Party that is the racist party and not the Republican Party. Uh, yet you have a bunch of, uh, numbskulls. They go through college, they get indoctrinated, and all of a sudden Republicans are automatically racist. Again, if you think people are racist just because they belong— and here I am doing it, forgive me— not all Democrats are racist. Uh, let me say that the Democrat leadership like to perpetuate racism Because they like to keep Blacks and minorities mad and angry. If they can keep you mad and angry, guess what you stop doing? You stop thinking logically. That's their game. That's the way they play it. They want to play you. So let's go through some history here. So in 1870, it was the Republican Congress that passed and ratified the 15th Amendment, but we— that gave the Blacks, former freed slaves, or former slaves, I'm sorry, the right to vote. But let's rewind. It was the 13th Amendment that freed the slaves. These were implemented by the Republican Party. It was the 14th Amendment that gave former slaves citizenship. No, the 14th Amendment isn't for illegal aliens. I'm sorry, it was for Black Africans that were enslaved. Stop trying to co-opt that, left. And then you got Um, you got in 1871, the Republican Congress passed the Anti-KKK Act. That's right, to abolish the Democrats' terrorist arm known as the Ku Klux Klan. And that was the Ku Klux Klan. You guys need to know this was created to stop Blacks and N-word-loving whites known as Republicans from voting in the South during Reconstruction. So if you're wondering about the history of the KKK, Democrats own that. And then you got LBJ and JFK. Everybody likes to pretend like they're some type of civil rights heroes. I'm sorry, I know you guys like JFK, I know you guys like some LBJ, uh, but LBJ was a straight-up racist. JFK had some tendencies himself. These guys were not the civil rights heroes that the left pretends they were. As a matter of fact, in 1957, there was a Republican president. You guys might know him. His name is Dwight Eisenhower, and he passed a civil rights bill that was opposed by both— huh, I wonder who— JFK and LBJ, amongst others as well. And then LBJ in 1957 stripped the bill of its enforcement provisions. And then in 1960, Eisenhower flipped the script on him and introduced a stronger bill. And then conveniently, Democrats changed their position on racism all of a sudden. I wonder what happened, because Lyndon B. Johnson then adopted Dwight Eisenhower's ideas on civil rights as his own in 1964. What a coinkadink! And, and then the left created this big switch. Well, I see they were losing. They realized they were going to lose the Black vote, right? The Jim Crow South— not the Jim Crow South— the Jim Crow South was no longer working. They were going to lose the Black vote. So what did they do? Big switch, big switch. Make sure you watch that PragerU video with Carol Swain. There was no big switch that the left continues to lie about. Just some, uh, just some history, some easy history that you can research yourself. The Republican Party— here's the big secret— the Republican Party didn't take over the House until 1994 when Newt Gingrich— 30 years later They talk about a big switch that never happened. This is what the left does. They lie in order to keep you in bondage. They don't only use whips and chains anymore. They use books, they use media, but they want to keep you enslaved. They want to keep you on that Democratic plantation. It's as simple as that. There's tons of history. I encourage you guys, go to my website, Carl Jackson Show. And you can just click on the link, GOP History. And again, also my other social, my other sites. You can go to Parler now, great news, Parler is back up today. So @CarlJacksonShow on Parler, @CarlJacksonShow on Twitter, Facebook, Carl Jackson Radio on Facebook. And also, just to remind you, James O'Keefe, James O'Keefe of Project Veritas is going to be joining us at the bottom of the hour, so make sure you stay tuned for that. So here's what I want to get to. Because it's already starting to happen. I got to give my wife some props on this one. Uh, we talked about this Saturday on my podcast, but she called it. Uh, first off though, let me talk to you about one of the biggest scandals in American history, in my opinion, that the left wants to try to ignore. So AM Greatness wrote a column— someone from AM Greatness— Cuomo aide admits they hid real number of COVID uh, COVID nursing home deaths from legislators because Trump DOJ was investigating. And by the way, let me just say this real quick. Um, I asked you before, what do the lockdowns, what did COVID-19, and what does the minimum wage, $15 minimum wage, all have in common? Let me open your eyes real quick. All of these are designed to destroy Trump's donor class. It is to create a system of oligarchs. These big tech oligarchs, these left-wing elites, they want to destroy Trump's donor class. That's what this is about. All right, but let's go back to this column here. So here's the summary: Governor Cuomo's top aide admitted privately to Democrat lawmakers— and thank God for Janice Dean, Fox News— by staying on this story like a pit bull. But the column goes on to say Cuomo's top aide admitted privately to Democrat lawmakers that the Cuomo administration withheld the number of COVID-19 nursing home deaths in the state out of concern that true numbers would be, quote, used against us by federal prosecutors. The New York Post reported this. Secretary to the governor Melissa DeRosa made the stunning admission during a 2-hour-plus video conference call on Wednesday with the state Democratic— and this was last Wednesday— uh, state Democratic leaders, in which she blamed former President Trump for the Cuomo administration's evasiveness. In reaction to the bombshell report, some Republican lawmakers are now demanding that the governor be prosecuted. So we were reporting this as a bombshell report, but you have to understand where this story is going. I want you to know this name. Get to know this name well. She's been popping up in the media a lot. Lady lately suing the NRA, suing Trump. Letitia James, Letitia James, Letitia James. We're going to get to Letitia James because I'm afraid, even as the AM Greatness reported, this story is no longer what it seems. So anyway, let's get back to this bombshell report about Andrew Cuomo. Now, uh, the article goes on to say New York Attorney General Letitia James alleged a damning report from last month that Governor Cuomo's administration drastically undercounted nursing home deaths in the state. Now, we all as conservatives knew this forever and a day, right? Um, but apparently, uh, some people are just finding, uh, uh, their, uh, this out. But the question no one is asking: why would Letitia James turn on a fellow Democrat and launch an investigation into Governor Cuomo? I also want you guys to notice the blame game that this lady Melissa DeRosa is already playing. You got Melissa DeRosa playing the blame game, blaming Trump, trying to say that she and Cuomo basically aren't responsible, Trump made us do it. And you have this Letitia James lady that's willing to turn on a fellow Democrat and launch an investigation into Governor Cuomo. This is unheard of. This is different. What's going on? Let's go back to this story before I answer. The actual total number of New York, uh, nursing home deaths As of last Wednesday, the total number of nursing home deaths in the state was 13,297. Thank God we live in Florida. We'll mention some of Governor DeSantis's stats later. The Post reported that the number jumped to 15,049 when assisted living adult care facilities are factored in. So the deal— the DOH had previously publicly acknowledged only 80 711 deaths in New York nursing homes, and that was according to the Post. But there's some trickery going on here. I'll explain it on the other side. We'll be back in a few. This is Carl Jackson in for Dennis Prager.

I don't have Florida nursing home numbers, do you?

No.

You know what, I, I had trending now on the Charlie Kirk Show.

[Speaker:DENNIS PRAGER] Liberal Justice Louis Brandeis said that states are laboratories of democracy, that we will be able to tell what states are succeeding and failing. Remember what makes the American Republican system different? Small r, not Republican Party, but a system based in a constitutional republic. Is that the states created the federal government. The federal government did not create the states. That distinction is so incredibly important. We're a coalition of states. We're a coalition of sovereign entities that voluntarily agreed to a national compact. That is why those of us that are conservatives don't like the heavy hand of the federal government. We say, why does the Department of Education exist? Why do you need a Department of Labor when you have a Georgia Department of Labor. The federal government should be there for federal crimes, military when needed, a social safety net. But really, that should be left to the states. Interstate commerce, protecting federal parks and lands, protecting our borders, managing immigration, international diplomacy. And I'm sure there's a couple of things I can name that would probably the proper role of government.

But that's about it.

Most things should be left to the states for good reason. The Founding Fathers knew this. The Founding Fathers knew that as soon as you strengthen a centralized federal government, as soon as you put unchecked power into D.C., they're soon going to forget who they represent. You will live under bad laws inevitably if you lose a connection to the people who put you into office.

Oh, I'm sorry, I'm engaging in whataboutism. Here I am bringing up an example to show my point. I can't do that. It shows you hypocrisy, selective outrage. Hillary Clinton can parade around for 4 years and call the election illegitimate and say it was stolen, and nobody says, hey, excuse me, you're giving energy to Donald Trump down the road to say the same thing. So maybe you ought to back— nobody said anything. You know why? Because they believed it was stolen. 78% of Democrats believe that the Russians interfered, which everybody knows they did and has acknowledged, but that they changed the outcome of the election. And Jeh Johnson, the then-head of the Homeland Security Department under Obama, testified there's no evidence whatsoever We haven't reached any kind of conclusion that the outcome was changed. We know that no voting tallies were changed. They tried, but they failed. Yet 78% of Democrats— and they get their news from CNN, their feed from Facebook, New York Times— and 78% of Democrats have convinced themselves that but for whatever Russia did, Donald Trump would not be president. Even though the intel community has never reached that conclusion. Am I not supposed to bring that up? It says something about your reason and your logic. I said that yesterday about the O.J. Simpson case. How do you respect a bunch of people who look at the same evidence of overwhelming guilt and say the man was, was innocent, man was framed? How do you respect somebody like that? How do you respect their judgment, their mentality, their ability to reason? Same thing over here.

Hey, welcome back to the Dennis Prager Show. I'm filling in for Dennis Prager. My name is Carl Jackson. I am a Christian conservative American that happens to be Black. I would say I'm your favorite Christian conservative American that happens to be Black, but I really started thinking about that and I'm like, I think Candace Owens kind of owns that moniker. But anyway, I hope that I'm a close second. So let's go ahead and go back to the lines really quick before I delve in further into this Cuomo debacle. But I want to show you the trickery the left is already starting to pull with this lady, Letecia James. Uh, David, uh, let's go to David. David, you've got the mic.

How you doing, Carl?

I'm doing good, David.

Hey, you know, I'm not familiar with you. I just tuned into the show today. I'll be honest with you, I'm not familiar with your work. But then I hear the word KKK and I just think empty anymore. It's really not— it doesn't even really even exist on any real level. So I think we just need to find a better argument to, you know, disperse the Democrats and liberals with. By pinning that KKK label on us the way they try to pin the Nazi label on us, it's just— I mean, I'm 55 years old. I've never met a Nazi or KKK member, and I've traveled in some pretty rough circles. So I, you know, I don't understand this, why we keep going back hundreds of years in history to with more blacks. Okay, so let's go ahead and go. What were we. Oh, let's go and go ahead and get back to this Leticia, Leticia James story, this Andrew Cuomo story, because they're, they're pulling a switch, aru.

They're pulling the switcheroo on us, guys. So right now, the big story, the biggest scandal, Andrew because I happen to be black, and I was specifically mentioning that because, um, you may not understand this. Are you black?

No, I'm a white person.

Okay, okay. So, David, so 9 out of 10 people, black people that I speak to, don't know this. And, and I'm being dead serious with you. You may know it, and that's great, and I appreciate that. And there are other ways that I fight. But 9 out of 10 people don't know this that happen to be Black. You know why? Because Republicans never tell them, because we're too cowardly. You may hear it a lot in conservative circles. This is a problem because the left doesn't hear it in their circles. And I'm telling you that because I was in the left circle. So I appreciate the call, okay, but you're wrong. So I hope you start sharing that information with more Blacks. Okay, so, uh, let's go ahead and go— what were we, uh, oh, let's go and go ahead and get back to this Letitia, Letitia James, uh, story, this Andrew Cuomo story, because they're, they're pulling a switcheroo, uh, they're pulling the switcheroo on us, guys. So right now, the big story, the biggest scandal, Andrew Cuomo, his entire staff, they covered up approximately 50% of these nursing home deaths. You have this lady, Melissa DeRosa, who's blaming Trump for turning the death count into a political, uh, football, uh, as the reason she and Cuomo covered up the numbers and lied to the public. Uh, so they're not using politics, but apparently when Trump was exposing them and telling the truth, Trump was using politics. Here's a quote from this nice young lady. He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes. He starts going after New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, starts going after California Governor Gavin Newsom, starts going after Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. So he was exposing them, basically. So the reminder again You have Governor Cuomo who forced nursing homes to accept COVID patients back into their facilities despite the fact that they knew that these people were contagious and would spread COVID-19 to, uh, other residents. But DeRosa rationalized Cuomo's, I'd say, evil behavior because they supposedly feared a DOJ investigation, uh, from, from Trump. So you notice there's no mention of fear of the reaction of the families who lost their loved ones. This is how sick and twisted these people are. Notice the audacity of this lady. DeRosa offers— she offers a half-hearted apology on behalf of Cuomo's team. She says, hey, a little bit of appreciation of context when she's talking about these deaths here. And then she apologizes to the Democrats for putting them in a bind because this was a private call. Between Democrats. This wasn't the lady that was coming out and trying to share this information to the world. This wasn't a lady that's moral and that has values that was right, uh, that was ratting on this criminal that happens to be New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. That's not what this is. This is the lady that's just saying, oops, oops, sorry, sorry, our incompetence killed people, oops. But big man, big orange man bad was coming, uh, after that. At least some Democrats weren't impressed, but we'll, we'll have to wait and see what happens. But this lady needs to be in cuffs, in my opinion. Andrew Cuomo needs to be in cuffs, in my opinion. But let's get to this lady, Letitia James, because this is really, really interesting. Letitia James, man, why would Letitia James do this? This is a bombshell. Why would she go after Andrew Cuomo?

Pretty simple and pretty basic. Uh, the attorney general has now become a position that's a springboard to governor. She just might want to replace Cuomo, and by distancing herself and the rest of the Democratic Party in New York from the governor, she probably thinks that's something she can do.

That— okay, now that is, that is an obvious answer. He's absolutely right. I believe she's positioning herself. That's not all she's doing. You have to know this lady's history, uh, which I have misplaced right now, but this lady is a straight-up social justice warrior Um, in the first 6 months of 2020, by the way, the shootings under her and Cuomo's leadership increased by 130%. Burglaries were up 30%, um, or murders were up 30%, I'm sorry. Burglaries were up 118%. But Letitia is a Brooklyn native, a graduate from Lehman College in the Bronx. She ran for office, the city council, the Working Families Party that was founded in 1988, a social democracy Progressivism, founded by a coalition of labor unions. Basically, she was a part of ACORN. She's a community organizer. She's a Marxist. That's what you need to understand about her. So here it is with Letitia James. She's good. She's given us a two-for-one, guys. That's what's happening. So Attorney General Letitia James, she released her report on the ongoing investigations, but what she's doing, what she's starting to do, is she's really starting to undermine and blame despite the fact that she came out and initially blamed Andrew Cuomo, she's also starting to blame these nursing homes. Look at some of the findings that this lady found. When you go and read this report— by the way, I put it on my Facebook page at Carl Jackson Radio— but when you go ahead and read this report, she starts talking about a larger number of nursing home residents died from COVID-19 than DOH reflected. Okay, that's good. And then she says, but there was a lack of compliance with infection control protocols put residents at increased risk of harm. She's talking about the nursing homes now. And then she says nursing homes that enter the pandemic with low U.S. Centers for Disease— uh, for Medicaid and Medicare Services staffing ratings had higher COVID-19 fatality rates. Basically, this lady is ratting on privately owned nursing homes because she wants Wants everything to be government-run. So Cuomo might skate, but the nursing homes are going down. This lady's a snake.

Turning now on the Charlie Kirk Show.

This is a Hollywood Broadway production. That's all this is. In a real trial, you'd say, Your Honor, this evidence is tampered with. So you had Swalwell, the lover of Fang Fang, who came out and said that Donald Trump called for the cavalry to come. Cavalry. Now, Anyone in the Christian world knows that there's a difference between Calvary and cavalry. I sometimes, without— unintentionally mispronounce one or the other, but I know the difference. Calvary, C-A-L. Cavalry. One is where Christ was crucified. The other is horse-mounted infantry, horse-mounted military. So Eric Swalwell reads Jennifer Lawrence's tweet, who says, Mr. President, the cavalry is coming. So Eric Swalwell then comes out and says, well, on the House impeachment floor, you see here President Trump, he was calling in for reinforcements. And the cavalry is coming. Now, to an untrained eye, you're like, well, that might be something, you know, maybe there might be— it's nothing.

What's with these Republicans? I would just give a dollar and a doughnut to figure out what's in the mind of somebody like Senator Bill Cassidy. Here's cut 5. This is the same guy who was last week, just the other day, on with Meet the Press and Chuck Todd.

The president wasn't there. He wasn't allowed counsel. They didn't amass evidence. In 5 hours, they kind of judged, and boom, he's impeached. Now, I'm told that under the Watergate, under the Clinton impeachments, there were truckloads of information. Here it was a video. There was no process. I mean, it's almost like, you know, if it happened in the Soviet Union, you would have called it a show trial.

That's the guy— that was last week. That's the guy who yesterday voted with the Democrats to proceed with the trial because he didn't like Bruce Castor. And listen, Bruce Castor did a terrible job. President Trump was said to be very angry behind the scenes. Fox News quotes sources as saying Trump was furious and beyond angry over his defense team's showing on day one of his second impeachment trial, despite his ultimate acquittal almost certain. The sources who spent time with President Trump said he was particularly incensed with the effort thus far by his attorney Bruce Castor. Do you get the feeling that the reason he hasn't had a strong showing by his lawyers is because no attorney wants to touch this thing?

Mike, what is the number one reason you think people in the state want him recalled? Is it his handling of the COVID-19 crisis? Uh, is it the, uh, the Dennis Prager Show?

My name is Carl Jackson, sitting in for Dennis Prager. Again, you can find me on Facebook at Carl Jackson Radio, Twitter, now Parler, is back up and running, @CarlJacksonShow, and of course my website, carljacksonshow.com. But I'm looking forward to talking to our next guest here. On the line with us is James O'Keefe of Project Veritas. James, welcome to The Dennis Prager Show.

Hey, great to be with you.

Absolutely. Listen, I absolutely love the work you do. I love your courage. Obviously, most recently, the New news. You've been, uh, you've been banned from Twitter. Those of you that don't know Project Veritas, I encourage you go to projectveritas.com. You can see James O'Keefe's work. He does real investigative journalism exposing, uh, so many of the corrupt politicians, uh, and the left. And just recently you were banned from, uh, you were banned from Twitter, uh, James. And, uh, are you on Are you on Parler as of today? Where else can people find you?

First off, well, you know, we're on Telegram, is a good place to follow us. Uh, we are— I'm still on Twitter. We're on YouTube. We're on projectveritas.com is where you can find our videos. Uh, Instagram, uh, BitChute, uh, a lot of these other places, Gab. But listen, content is Money is king, and the platforms are now making— they're crossing the Rubicon by canceling Project Veritas. It's actually quite nuanced what happened last week. They didn't ban us for misinformation. They banned us for invasion of privacy and doxxing policy. Now, what you might say, well, what did you do? Did you doxx Project Veritas? We're investigative reporters. We covertly film people. We tell stories. Well, what we did is we confronted a Facebook vice president outside of his house on the street. This is called a doorstop in television reporting. It's been done for decades. Even CNN does this. If you recall, CNN, you know, confronts people. They confronted private citizens outside their homes who were accused of, you know, being Russian trolls. There's that famous video of a CNN reporter doing that. But Twitter has arbitrarily decided to suspend us for doing what all the other journalists do. And it's really high comedy to watch them trip over their own reasons for banning us. And I think they have crossed a Rubicon. I think this has never been done before, and tech companies are playing the role of God. They're playing the role of the Supreme Court. And I think we have to keep going. We have to keep releasing great journalism, great stories, and I think people are waking up to it.

Yeah, I think you're absolutely right, James. I think, I think that big tech has made a, uh, a big mistake, if you will. I think initially, obviously, this cancel culture stuff is going to, uh, going to hurt us a little bit, uh, initially, but I think they are going to regret this big time going forward. What's your take on that?

I think it's going to hurt them in the long run, but you know, the thing about people who are like this, they don't believe in logic. It's illogical. I mean, CNN did a piece about us the other— on Sunday, and they were saying that we were banned for misinformation, which is illogical because CNN's own business reporter was reporting that we were banned for anti-doxxing. So these people are illogical, and the thing about people like this, communists or whatever you want to call them, people who believe in power rather than justice under the law, is that I think they have this slow march through society's institutions, and it's very worrisome. I mean, we're entering this brave new world, or some would say 1984, this idea of doublethink where they say one thing and then the next minute they say the exact opposite, and that's fine. How do we deal with that? I think we have to expose the truth. I think Project Veritas's mission is to expose the truth. We have another Facebook tape coming out tomorrow, by the way. I'm announcing it's on your show. The CEO of Facebook, Zuckerberg, we have him on a— he does not know that he's being recorded saying some unbelievable things. And you say, well, they're going to ban— but it doesn't matter if they ban us because The videotape of the people doing the thing is going to get out and diffuse and be distributed by proxy. Even if I have to send out 500,000 emails and people upload it into their Twitter feed, that's what people will do, right? So I think we have to tell the truth no matter what. And the truth, as St. Augustine said, is like a lion. It'll just get out.

Hmm, man, I love that. I love that. Did you— oh, good, my co-host has has a question for you here real quick.

Yeah, quick one because we only have a couple of seconds. You sent your guy Christian Hartzog out to talk to Guy Rosen, their VP of Integrity. They have one of those. You didn't show a number, a street, a house, no real private information. How do they justify taking your account down like that?

Hey James, we just have 10 seconds left.

We just have 10 seconds before the break. Can you hold with us? Us until after the break?

Sure.

All right, thank you. We're speaking to James O'Keefe for Project Veritas. That was—

I was a Cuban American, and the problem with the Cuban Americans is that we are the only ethnic group that you can make fun of and pay no consequence. The Cuban Americans in the United States could be made fun of, mocked, but will not— no one will ever pay a price.

I've often cited to my friends on the left, Armando Valladares is against all hope. As the Bible they've got to read to have even a glimpse. If they're an Anglo like me and they're Irish Catholic, they need to read that book. But I have never heard what you just said. I didn't realize that that is something you believe. I've heard it said that anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable prejudice, which I believe. I'm a Catholic. But you just said with great passion and conviction that this goes on all the time about Cuban Americans. And that's news to me, Congresswoman Salazar.

Well, but think about it. Think about it. They can deride us. They can make fun of us. They can do anything to us. Anyone, the academia, even the news organizations, and there is no price to pay. Why? If you were to do that to any other ethnic group in the United States, you would have to, "Oh, I apologize.

It's true.

I'm so sorry. We made a mistake." It never happens with the Cuban Americans.

Now my next guest is involved in the effort to recall the governor of California, an effort that at one time seemed pretty fanciful, but no longer. You know it's getting serious when the governor's staff begins to call the effort a coup and suggested it is being led in part by white nationalists.

We need 12% of of the people that voted for governor last time, which is technically 1,475,000 signatures. We're actually at that figure, but before the public gets too cocky, because they have to be verified signatures, the reality, and we need 1.8 to 2 million of them. The good news is we have 5 weeks to go. And you want to hear some more amazing news, Larry? Sure. This is not only the largest initiative in American history. We'll move on to what is the main event at the moment, which is the radical founder and president of Project Veritas.

James was breaking the news, or broke the news, on the Dennis Prager Show that he's going to have some video of CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, coming out in the next day or so. James, I mean, you do some amazing stuff here. Are you ever surprised at the state of journalism that you— the state of journalism that we are, uh, that we're in currently in America? You're obviously a real investigative journalist. It seems as though you're a rare breed today. Does anything shock you? This, this, these big tech oligarchs this information that you're getting, does this stuff shock you anymore?

I mean, there's no words to describe the level of deceit and, and in the world that we're living in. I mean, it's, it's beyond totalitarian. I mean, the media has more power than all three branches of government. That's, that's what people need to understand. Tech has more power than government. So the Washington Post has tremendous power. I mean, they're just a $200 million woke clickbait rag that Jeff Bezos bought. But even Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men in the history of the world, is saying that his asset, The Washington Post, is more valuable to him than even Amazon. I mean, wow, power to set narrative, the power to determine narrative. Facts no longer matter anymore. Nobody cares about facts.

It's all about narrative.

And what we do at Veritas is we only focus on facts. And, you know, investigative reporting is the fiercest of indignation fused with the hardest of fact. So we think that by showing people the truth, our hypothesis is that if that doesn't work, but I guess we're headed towards, I guess, a civil war, civil unrest, because if facts no longer matter to people, if truth doesn't matter, and if everyone has agreed upon this, then I don't agree with people. I think that we have to show people visually the the truth. And tomorrow's video of CEO Mark Zuckerberg is so damning in what he's saying, and it contradicts what he's saying publicly. So I think this stuff does matter. I think we can create an army of exposers, hundreds of whistleblowers. I intend to do this, and, and I think this is what we must do as countrymen. We must fight for the truth, and we have to believe that we can swing the pendulum back from the abyss. Which is a propaganda war between two sides, left and right, who don't care about facts. They just care about conjecture and narrative. So I think it's important what we're doing. And VeritasTips@ProtonMail.com— that's VeritasTips@ProtonMail— is where our whistleblowers email us, and we get their recordings, we tell their stories.

James, what you did with Guy Rosen from Facebook Mike Wallace did for 40 years on network TV. I mean, you're letting them say in their own words just what they're doing and just why they're doing it. How can Twitter take offense to that? How do they justify that?

They can't justify it. It's an extraordinary thing that happened. They initially just wanted us to delete a tweet. They asked me to delete the tweet of the video of Guy, of Christian Hartsock, on the street. And there was on the lamppost the number of his home. I would submit to you that journalists do this all the time outside of residences, and judges and television, local TV crews always do stakeouts. And I don't know if they have a standard here, because they're not banning these other TV reporters, local news reports that confront folks, and it's called a doorstop. You have a television camera, a flag mic, clearly visible. We're not covertly filming anybody. Google Street View, you can see people's homes. So I'm not sure what the doxxing is. This is the vice president of Facebook. This is maybe the most public important policy issue in the history of the United States, maybe even bigger than Standard Oil was 100 years ago when they were talking about busting those trusts. So I have the vice president of Facebook on tape saying that they're freezing comments, and I think the public has a right to know this. Is that doxxing someone? I don't know what they mean by doxxing. Reporters are supposed to publish information of public import. So your question is rhetorical. I don't have an answer to it. It's absurd on every level. And Twitter just changed their minds and just suspended us when they started getting calls from CNN and The New York Times about what their policy is regarding Project Veritas. They had to ban us at that point because they couldn't figure out what their policy was.

Are you still getting— are you encouraged, perhaps, I hope, by the number of people that are contacting you at— what is it again? Project Veritas at Proton?

It's Veritas Tips. That's V-E-R-I-T-A-S tips at protonmail.com.

Okay. Are you encouraged? Are you getting lots of leads from people that are still reaching out out to you to expose some of these oligarchs in Big Tech and, and, and other, uh, I'm sure, uh, big stories that you'll be coming out with? Are you, are you encouraged by that?

Yeah, I mean, I, I think that people need to have skin in the game. I think that the humanity of it, you know, the, the whistleblower losing their job for the public's right to know, I think that, that gives people hope. I think the idea is you have to sacrifice something you have to be willing to sacrifice something, including your own reputation. And you have to be willing to lose your Twitter. I mean, I think people in the conservative movement have upset me because they're so focused on, "Oh, I don't want to lose my Twitter account." What if it comes at odds with telling the truth? You know, are you going to compromise your principles to keep your Twitter? That sounds sort of like selling out. And I'm telling stories the public has a right to know. The Facebook vice president says this thing, on the tape. We published that. They think that's doxxing. I think that's the paragon of investigative reporting going back 125 years. Mike Wallace, Upton Sinclair, Seymour Hersh would be banned from Twitter these days because of their policy. Now, Twitter can say it's about doxxing. It's not about doxxing. You know that. I know that. It's about politics and power. That's what it's really about.

So they froze his comment about freezing comments. That's a little bit meta, I think.

30 seconds to respond, James.

Unbelievable.

All right, well, we're— again, we're speaking to James O'Keefe of Project Veritas. James, I just want to say thank you for the work that you're doing. Again, if you would just, uh, give people your information as well, how they— how they can get a hold of you. And we look forward to seeing the CEO, this big oligarch of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg exposed once again. And we do take your advice, guys. We need to start standing up and being, and being activists and just going after the truth. So we appreciate everything you do. Give us your information one last time, please, James O'Keefe.

We'll move on to what is the main event at the moment, which is the radicalism of the Biden agenda, pushing a lot of stuff out unilaterally and also pushing a massive stimulus. We all can agree, I think, we need some more COVID relief, but it's much, much bigger than that and has a massive national minimum wage increase that would hammer the job market at a time when we should be doing everything to support it.

It is almost as if, and I hesitate to say it because it doesn't sound sane, but it's almost as if they are trying to destroy the economy. It's, it's so bizarre. Do you, would you give them enough credit to say that they're not trying to bring some kind of socialism or big government dependence to us via these strange means? Because that's kind of what it looks like.

To me.

Yeah, that is what they're trying to do. I mean, it's based on a misbegotten but sincere view of what the country should be in their minds and how the economy works. But if you get closer to where you are in the world than where I am at the moment, a place like Alabama, the median wage is $15 an hour. That means— I'm not a statistics guy, but half the people make less than that. So what's going to happen to their jobs when you mandate that they all have to make $15 an hour? Well, they're either no longer going to have jobs or their hours are going to be cut or the employers are going to find a way to automate. So this just makes zero sense. I'm all in favor of a tight labor market. I think that was one of the beauties of the Trump economy when it was really cooking prior to the pandemic.

The impeachment trial will proceed. Dun dun dun! Big vote yesterday. That's one headline. USA Today, huge font: Trial to Proceed. Constitutional, but because he didn't like the performance of the president's lawyers yesterday, somehow he decided to vote suddenly that it was constitutional. But then again, that brings you to 6 Republicans, which means you're far short from the 17.

PCH, dude.

Hey, welcome back to the Dennis Prager Show. I'm Carl Jackson filling in for Dennis Prager. You can go to projectveritas.com, make sure you donate there. And also, if some of you guys are the freedom warriors that want to be a part of what James O'Keefe is doing, you can go to Veritas tips@protonmail.com. Again, veritas tips@protonmail.com. Uh, that guy has got some courage like no— honestly, he's doing his job. He's doing the job that journalists, investigative journalists, are supposed to do. These are the type of people we used to, uh, admire, right, in, in when it comes to journalism, being a part of our media. And now it's like they're becoming a— it's a rare breed. Anyway, I want to go ahead and go to the lines real quickly here. We've got Kit on the line. Kit, you've got the mic.

Hey, hello, Carl. You're doing a great job for Dennis.

Thank you, Kit.

Filling in.

Hey, I wanted to call in because I'm a Christian conservative, and I'm also, more importantly maybe, a curator for African American history. And you can probably tell I'm a white white guy, but I took history classes at Oxford University years ago, and on my return, I discovered a gentleman who had an African American history collection that he was putting together to be really for the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and he started the Friends of the, you know, of that group that was a big organization that helped get it going. But, of course, the Smithsonian had no collections of African American in history. They were really from a Jim Crow era, sure, and represented those beliefs. So they had nothing. So, uh, what we did— and I wasn't involved at the point at that time— but Mark Mitchell, the founder, went to members of Congress and showed them pieces he collected from African American history. And, uh, they, uh, they were put together a bipartisan effort contacted Sam Brownback, John R. Lewis, J.C. Watts, got a consortium together.

Kid, kid, we have—

2005.

Oh, shit.

Kid, we only have 30 seconds left. Do me a favor, just stay on the line real quick. I want to get your information. I need to close out the show, though. I appreciate everyone else on the line.
