Dennis Prager argues that left-wing ideology systematically deprioritizes truth in favor of gaining power, distinguishing this from individuals across the spectrum who occasionally lie. He contends that leftism's stated good intentions are secondary to winning.
Truth is not a left-wing value. You say, well, Trump lies too. Yes, I understand. Of course there are. There are individuals in every part of the political spectrum, any part of the religious spectrum that tell lies. It's a sad fact of human life. But there's a big difference between an ideology not valuing truth and individual people who don't tell truth. Very big difference. Leftism has never valued truth. It is, it is not. They value winning. They value power. They know their, they know their good intentions, and that's all that matters.
