Dennis Prager argues gun-control laws can't stop mass shootings because illegal firearms stay illegal. He dismisses Tim Walz's pro-gun argument, sides with J.D. Vance's position, and challenges viewers to show empirical data on how many lives civilian gun ownership actually saves.

You know how often I have asked after these horrible shootings, what law would have prevented that? Other than no one can own a firearm, what law would prevent that? By the way, that wouldn't prevent it either. There's no such thing. Tim Walz makes a point about gun ownership that utterly invalidates his point and validates J.D. Vance's point. So they're illegally obtained. Will they not be illegally obtained no matter what laws you make? It'll just make— it'll just— it'll make it an even more illegal act when you make more laws. That's all. I would like to see a piece of data on how many lives are saved, how many— or better, how many crimes are prevented because people have guns.
