Their Beliefs MUST Be Reality

Dennis Prager recounts stories of institutions treating gender identity as opinion, then cites a Daily Mail investigation claiming six of eight Gaza hospital medics quoted by the BBC as torture victims were Hamas supporters, arguing this shows systematic anti-Israel bias.

I had two people call in with stories that they experienced. Uh, one, a senior in high school saying that only women menstruate, and the teacher saying, that's your opinion. And then the last caller, at her doctor's office, the form she had to fill out asked, what gender do you identify with? And she went over to the receptionist and said, I don't identify as a woman, I am a woman. And the receptionist at the doctor's office said, well, that's your opinion. It is now an opinion whether you're a man or a woman. An opinion. The assault on truth from the left is very, very scary. I wrote 30 years ago for UCLA Magazine— I wish I could find that article— that the greatest single source of evil is lies. So here's an example: the BBC lies about Israel on a regular basis. The Daily Mail has an exclusive yesterday, and here's the headline: MPs, it's members of parliament, demand bias inquiry as Daily Mail reveals Gaza doctors at center of harrowing BBC report are longtime supporters of Hamas. As these vile anti-Semitic social media posts show. So listen to this. This is from the Daily Mail. All day long on March 12th, the BBC led its radio and TV bulletins with a shocking report from Gaza in which hospital medics described being tortured and abused by Israeli forces. I didn't know that, did you? International condemnation was swift, with Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron among those demanding an explanation from Israel. The BBC has faced the accusations of anti-Israel bias and of fueling anti-Semitism, so it was anxious to demonstrate the that it went to considerable lengths to corroborate evidence. No doubt it was reassured that the claims came from doctors, surely reliable witnesses. But on a Mail on Sunday— that's Daily Mail— investigation has uncovered some disturbing truths about 6 of the 8 medics interviewed. Evidence that should at the very least have given BBC News executives pause for thought as they rolled out their scoop with dramatic fanfare. So I've been reading to you from the Daily Mail. The BBC reported that Israelis tortured Palestinian Gazan doctors, and then they uncovered that these doctors were all Hamas supporters, radical Jew haters.
