Dennis Prager argues the left ignores uncomfortable facts, citing claims about Black crime rates and police killings of unarmed Black men, which he says number about 23 per year. He also states that a man cannot become a woman, framing disagreement as self-deception rather than truth.

When I tell you the truth is not a left-wing value, it is not an attack, it's a fact. And if it's not a fact, I have no credibility. If truth is a left-wing value, I should lose credibility and retire. And the reason that truth is not a left-wing value is they don't want to believe what is uncomfortable. They don't want to believe any painful truths. So if blacks are disproportionately involved in violent crime, it is because of racism. It's, it's not their fault. That's what they want to believe. They want to believe that cops utterly disproportionately kill unarmed black males. It's a lie. It's a complete lie. The number is tiny. It's like 23 a year. And they don't— they want to believe— they believe what they want to believe. That's the point. Anyone who says men give birth lies to himself. If you believe a man could become a woman, you are lying to yourself. A man can think he's a woman, of course, and I'm for freedom of thought. I don't believe in North Korea.
