A speaker invokes Reagan's warning that liberty requires constant defense across generations, arguing that post-WWII Americans failed to pass down core ideals. He claims his generation embraced left-wing nihilism and climate activism instead of confronting what he calls evil.

You have to understand, what was it that— was it Reagan who said we are always one generation away from losing liberty? That's right. You have to keep fighting, and that's what the generation that fought World War II did not realize. You have to keep fighting for the American ideal. They thought with the victory of World War II, the ending of the effects of the Depression, that the United States was so obviously a better place than other places that they didn't have to teach their kids what made America what it is. And so those kids, that's my generation, started the movement of left-wing nihilism. Don't believe in God, don't believe in America. We believe in, and then you fill in, we believe in, let's see, fighting climate change. Not evil. No, we don't fight evil, we fight climate change.
