In this call‑in segment of Dennis Prager’s show, the host (Speaker A) engages Michael, a caller from Colorado Springs, in a debate over whether truth about COVID‑19 is a conservative or liberal value and which side— the political left (Democratic Party, CDC, NIH, teachers’ unions) or the right‑wing dissenters— told more truth. The host references high‑profile legal judgments against Fox News, Rudy Giuliani, Alex Jones, and Mike Lindell to illustrate partisan lying, then argues that liars exist across all ideologies. He repeatedly asks Michael to compare the amount of truth told by the government and public‑health institutions versus conservative dissenters, but Michael cannot provide statistics and ultimately says he believes the right lied more, though he lacks data. The host concludes that the caller’s inability to answer reveals the difficulty of assigning blame and encourages reflection on the caller’s position.

All right, let's take some calls here. Michael in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Hello.
Hello.
Hi.
You know, you say often that truth is not a left-wing value. The truth is a value of the right wing.
No, I say it's a conservative value and a liberal value.
Conservative value. I did not mean to misquote you.
That's all right. I wasn't thinking you did.
Um, Fox News owes $700 million to Dominion for lying about them. Rudy Giuliani owes $140 million to the Georgia election workers for lying about them. Alex Jones owes $1.1 billion for lying about this, you know, Sandy Hook. Mike Lindell promised $5 million if somebody could prove that he didn't, um, if he wasn't quoting, uh, election data correctly. He wasn't.
Okay, so, so, yes, so, okay, so I, I, I don't use— I don't use individuals to prove my point because there are liars of every persuasion. There are lying Christians, lying Jews, lying Buddhists, lying Mormons. So it proves nothing when I say the truth is not a left-wing value. I am talking about the entire left. It is not a value for the whole. In other words, let me ask you a question. Do you think that there is more— there was more truth from the whole Democratic Party, the whole left, the entire CDC and NIH about COVID or the right-wing dissenters? Who told more truth?
I trust the studies.
Oh, well, that's not an answer. It's not an answer. Who do you think told more truth?
The people who write the studies.
Who? I asked you, the government or the dissenters?
I can answer the question.
No, you're not answering the question. Who lied more?
You're referring to about the government. I'm sorry, I can't.
You can't answer? You don't find the government? The Democratic Party and the teachers unions and the CDC and the NIH. Lockdown, lockdown kids and take as many vaccines and boosters as possible versus the dissenters who were almost all identified as conservative. Who do you think told more truth on the most important issue of the last 4 years?
How do you measure the amount of truth they told?
Okay. Okay. If you can't, then. Okay, so you're agnostic. Okay, so you are agnostic. You're not prepared to say— you called in to tell me that they're equivalent. Is that your point? You think that they lie on both sides? Is that why you called?
No, I think they lie more on the right.
I asked you a very— then I asked you, right? I asked you on the most important issue, who lied more, the left or the right, on COVID? Do you— and you have no answer?
I, I don't have any statistics.
That's correct. You have no answer. Okay, my friend, you can't call in and say the right lies as much as the left, but on the most important issue of the last 4 years, you have no idea who told more truth. Okay, that was, that was revealing, and I think you should reflect on your position. I really do thank you for calling, so I took your call first.
