Dennis Prager argues that traditional-oriented children are happier than those taught leftist ideology, which he says cultivates chronic anger and unhappiness. He claims modern society teaches young people to view themselves as oppressed, and that the left deliberately fosters this discontent to fuel revolution.
But if you have a left-wing child, a woke child if you will, and a traditional child, I, I am willing to bet that in 1,000 families, in 950 of them, the, the traditional child will be happier than the woke child. This may be one of the only societies in human history where people, young people, are taught to be unhappy. They're taught to be miserable. Certainly if you're a black kid, you— all you're taught is to be miserable and of course angry. Now everybody should have righteous anger. If you don't, there's something wrong with your moral clock, your moral compass. Nevertheless, if you walk around angry Overwhelmingly, the odds are you're not a happy person. I mean, if young women walk around thinking they're oppressed because they're women, can you imagine how many young blacks walk around unhappy because they believe that they're oppressed in a white supremacist culture? Part of the reason that leftism wishes to produce unhappy people is that, as Marx put it, only they will make the revolution. Remember during the BLM riots, which were all from the left? That's a perfect example. These are the people who will make revolution in our society.
