A speaker argues that Protestantism's historical achievements are threatened by atheism and leftist ideology, warning that churches adopting leftist positions will collapse within a generation. He questions whether someone can be both Christian and leftist.
The older I've gotten, the more I've come to respect the Protestant contribution. It's being profoundly threatened by atheism, by leftism, and by leftism within Protestantism. Remember, everything the left touches, it destroys, and that will be true for Protestant churches. The Protestant churches that go left will self-destruct over a generation. There's nothing left. Why be Christian if you're gonna be a leftist?
