Hey guys, welcome back. We're constantly talking about trying to be fit, trying to be healthy. Does anyone really know and understand what it takes to be fit and healthy? Fitness is the fact that you have the energy to conduct your day-to-day ways, conduct your day-to-day activities with a lot of alertness and vigour and not get tired at the end of the day. But most of the times we are getting tired and therefore you are not fit. Health is basically the absence of diseases. So here I want you to understand that don't get confused with fitness and health. These are two different issues. Hi guys, my name is Dheenaaz and in this video I am going to be talking to you about 10 different ways of how you can be fit, which in turn will lead to you be— for you to be healthy. Even in the evolution stage, in the evolution history, we have understood that when we conduct our day-to-day jobs, we have to do it continuously. From the time we wake up till the time we go to sleep, we have lots to do. But most people are not able to cope up with it, and therefore a lot of jobs get undone. And then that in turn leads to a lot of stress. But people do not understand that moving your body actually is going to lead you to be a really fit body. Here I'm not talking about weight loss. Right now we're not talking about weight loss. Right now in this video we are focusing on fitness. So I want you to ask yourself today, What exactly are you doing to keep your body fit? Are you moving every day? How many hours do you sit on a chair? What are the things that you actually do? Do you exercise every single day, come rain, come storm? If I were to ask you, do you eat every day? The answer is yes. But if I were to ask you, do you exercise every single day? You might pause and you might be thinking. And that's why you have to understand that that's not fitness. Fitness is not about eating your food every day and not moving your body. Not moving your body and not exercising is not an option anymore. Because we are leading such sedentary lives. What are you doing with your life? Is the question about yourself. I don't want you all to start watching these videos and just get motivated and yeah, I feel good and I'll do something tomorrow. I want you to get up. As you're watching this video, I want you to get up and move. Even if it is a 10-second spot jog. Are you understanding what I'm saying? Therefore, fitness is a very integral and important part of your body. Don't underestimate your— that part of your life. But most of the times what happens? Exercise is not a priority, only being fit is not a priority. And I ask people, what is it that you— when people join my program I ask people, what do you want from your life? 90% of the people say, I want to be fit and healthy. If you want to be fit and healthy, please ask yourself, what are the action points that you are doing every day? In fact, I would suggest that make a note of it. For one week, don't do anything other than what you are doing routinely. Then make a note of it and then take a look at the end of next week and see, oh my God, I've actually not done anything to have a fit body. And now it is time for you to review what you are doing. Until and unless you don't take fitness and health as a priority and start reviewing and tracking what you are doing, You're not going to be able to get the results. So stop living in some small— in some false hope that you will get the results by just looking at a video. Watching my video will not make you fit. Yes, it will make you motivated. So in this video, I will be sharing 10 ways. How many ways? 10 ways in which you can be fit. Number 1, first and foremost, get a medical clearance that everything is fine. Number 2, invest in a good coach. I'm not saying that you have to invest in me. Invest in a good coach. If you don't know what needs to be done every day, then go get yourself a coach. Because the coach is going to give you a step-by-step process and tell you, do this one day, do this second day, do this third day, and then repeat, and then again repeat, and then again repeat. That way you get a structure to what you're supposed to be doing, and the results will be much better. You start feeling better, you start feeling more fitter. Number 3. Set yourself realistic goals. What are your goals? To be fit. Can you do 100 squats in 1 minute? No. So start and monitor how many squats can you do in 1 minute. Do your fitness assessments. When you do your fitness assessments, you'll have a gauge of what you're really doing. So therefore, if you feel that you have done only 5 squats in 1 minute, that means your body is very unfit. And again, go work with a coach who will guide you in a step-by-step manner as to how to become more fit. Number 4, get support. Many times you're now caught up in your homes caught up during COVID-19 period and you don't know how to handle it. You don't have the time. You're sharing your house with other people. There are other people and pottering in and out of your room. You might not be having a room to yourself. That's okay. Find a small corner in your house or go up on your terrace or go up in your yard. And make things happen for you. And therefore it is very important for you to get support when you're doing this journey. Many of your family members might not be on the same track as you. It's okay. Go tell them, I feel very motivated and I feel that I need it. I feel it's going to benefit me not only today or 10 years from now and tell them that I need your support. When you go and tell your family members that I need your support, I'm quite certain that they will help you. Number 5, it's not bad to take supplements. So go out there, check with your medical practitioner and take some supplements because supplements is what is going to give you additional energy. Number 6: Stop being obsessed with the scales. Did you know it is okay to be fat, but it's important to be healthy? It's important to be fit. So if you have weighing scales in your home, take out the battery and stop looking at it for some time and focus on your fitness. Number 7: Embrace weight training. People often are— when we talk about fitness and workouts, a lot of people are only running after walks. I go to the park near my house, hundreds of people there. But we, along with our walks, we need to do strength training because strength training is what is going to help us build up muscle, which will get our— which will get our metabolic rate up, and the muscle will be toned and strong. So embrace and do strength training at least 2 to 3 times in a week. Learn how to manage stress. I want you to know that you can't avoid it, but you should be able to manage it. So learn how to manage your stress. Number 9, make this whole activity fun. Stop being so serious. For work you're serious, for your relationships you're serious. At least make your workouts fun. And you know how I make my workouts fun? I never used to exercise earlier. I started only 27 years back. You know how I made it interesting? Because I love music, I love rhythm, and when I integrated music and rhythm into my workouts, they became fun. And I did the same thing for my community members. I do the same thing for my community members. Now they're going nuts and they're loving it. And if you're watching this video and if you're part of the community, I want you to put in the comments below How you feel in the live workouts?
