So really and truly, when we talk about bloating, what exactly is bloating? Bloating is when your body consumes a lot of air, air fills up in your stomach, and your stomach expands. It becomes bloated. So you not only feel that your stomach is bloated, but also from your sides, everywhere you feel that you're really bloated. And you start feeling— you can relieve yourself by either burping or with some flatulence. But of late, I've noticed that this problem is becoming so deep that more and more people are suffering from it, and more and more people are uncomfortable, and more and more people don't know really and truly what to do. So when you have bloating, some of the common symptoms are swelling of the stomach, continuous burping, sometimes nausea. You know, it sometimes even leads to diarrhea. Sometimes if you have an infection in your belly, you might even get heartburn. So there's a lot of symptoms that you have, and all these symptoms put together is all about bloating. So it's just not about learning to live with it, it's about finding easy ways of handling it. And so I want you to— I want to share in this video 11 things that have worked for me personally in my life, which has helped me to relieve myself from this continuous bloating sensation that I have. So these are some really cool 11 hacks. I want you to— if you are one of those who is suffering from bloating, I want you to follow my instructions, make notes, and then see the difference that it makes in your bloating. So tip number 1 is eat less. When you eat less food, so you consume smaller quantities and a little more frequent meals, that helps you in relieving yourself, that avoids bloating. And another thing that I've also noticed is that if you chew your food too fast, that might lead to indigestion, and indigestion will ultimately lead to bloating. So I want you to go through less bloating. Okay, so eat less at a time, at a time just consume less food and chew your food really well. A lot of you might be having food allergies and you really and truly are not aware of it. So try to eliminate a few foods in your diet and see whether that's working. For example, sometimes as we grow older we are allergic to dairy. So if you are constantly, if you're constantly getting bloating sensation, then I want you to avoid dairy for some time and see whether that helps. Some people are allergic to gluten, to wheat. You know, it's not that it's a new thing today. Some people are genuinely allergic to wheat, so eliminate wheat in your diet for a few days and see whether that's working. Some people who take a lot of, like, sugar supplements have a lot of chemicals in them, and that also causes bloating sensation. So there are some types of sugars that you might be allergic to, so you might want to eliminate those things in your diet and see whether it really helps you. So try to figure out— some people are also allergic to a lot of raw foods like salads, so you might want to see whether when you eat salads is causing bloating. And you eliminate that. And a lot of people are also allergic to eggs. So I want you to eliminate all these food allergies that you have. So, you know, you don't have to go running to a diagnostic center and do a food allergy test because you will come positive for a lot of them, and that will kind of really ruin your life and you won't be able to eat half the things. But I want you to do this test on your own and just eliminate some of the foods that are— that you are allergic to. Now tip number 3 is a lot of us when we are walking, running, or teaching swallow a lot of air. So you want to be mindful of what your day is like. For example, teachers or fitness trainers or coaches who speak a lot tend to, along with this, along while speaking, you also tend to consume a lot of air. Now I'm not saying that you've got to stop your profession and change your profession, but be aware and be mindful of that. So when you're out of your profession, you're really giving your breath some break and you don't talk too much. Okay, so be aware of that and make some changes when you're not at work. Okay, tip number 4: avoid gassy foods. Some foods are very gassy, for example cabbage, cauliflower, beans, lentils, lots of lentils like rajma, chole, chana, pasoor dal. These are all foods that are very gassy. So if you are very allergic to these foods, then I want you to avoid them. But really and truly, the advantages of consuming this kind of lentils are also very good. So my personal experience has been that you take these lentils and you soak it overnight. When you soak it overnight, the lentil becomes a little bit more lighter and is more easily digestible. And pressure cook it nicely for about 30 minutes the next day in a way that the lentil itself has softened to a point where you can digest it. And then when you're consuming a small portion of it along with a side of vegetables, then it's okay. But if you're gonna make it really hard and difficult to digest, then I would say that it's not recommended for you. So it's also the way you cook it and is also the way you eat it. My personal experience also has been that any sort of lentil is easier to digest when you eat it during the day. So avoid eating a bowl of lentils in the night, rather eat it in the day and then walk around and you would have digested it. Okay, tip number 5. A lot of people who are trying to eat healthy food are running after complex carbohydrates like oats, quinoa, black rice, or red rice, or brown rice, or ragi, or jowar roti, and things like that. These complex carbohydrates are very difficult to digest. So if you have not been used to eating these complex carbohydrates and you suddenly turn around and start eating complex carbohydrates, Then I want you to start eating it in a very, very gentle manner. When you start eating it in a gentle manner, then it is easily digestible. But if you are someone like me who is intolerant to high fibers, intolerant to complex carbohydrates, it's absolutely okay for you to go and eat simple carbohydrates because complex carbohydrates will cause a lot of bloating. Tip number 6 is avoid sugar alcohols. So avoid a lot of foods that have chemicals in them like milk powders or dairy powders and sugar substitutes. Avoid all that. Eat, have more natural foods that will help you to prevent bloating. Tip number 7 is my personal experience has been that if you take a probiotic every day, once a day, it helps in replacing your good bacteria in your, in your gut, and it will help you in relieving bloating as well. So it will keep your gut really nice and clean. When your gut is really clean, you will be able— you will be relieved from bloating. So have a probiotic every day. I'm not a doctor, but you need to check with your doctor. And then take one every day. Keep yourself relieved from constipation, so eat high-fiber foods. Eat lots and lots of high-fiber foods which will help you in relieving constipation. Tip number 9 is when— this is priceless, listen to me carefully— when you are feeling bloated, okay, walk a lot. When you start walking a lot, especially after you've eaten a meal, it helps in it aids in digestion. When your food is digested, you are actually going to be relieved from bloating. So that also gives me this experience that I've been facing, that especially during this COVID-19 period, I had been sitting and working a lot. And now I realize that when I stand up and work continuously, I don't go through any bloating at all. So that's another tip that you want to do is raise your computer, raise your desk and work standing. Tip number 10, some yoga asanas are also very helpful. So go check those yoga asanas out and do those, and that will help you in releasing the gas and also preventing it from happening. And tip number 11 is my favorite, affirmations. Positive affirmations, in my experience, helps you in releasing gas completely, getting rid of your bloating. So create a positive affirmation that's going to help you because it's not about just doing all these other things, it's about reprogramming your mind that your body is okay and your body is releasing, releasing the gas completely. So do all these tips, follow my instructions, and it's going to help you in relieving bloating. Come back and let me know in the comments below how you really felt after following all my 11 tips. Thank you and bye-bye.
