Deenaz, founder of Deenaz Fitness, argues the mind drives weight loss more than diet or exercise. She outlines six strategies: stop obsessing over the scale, reprogram beliefs about unhealthy foods, work with a coach, recall past fitness wins, prioritize how you feel over how you look, and reset one habit at a time over 21 days.

Hi folks, welcome back, and this is Deenaz here, founder and CEO of Deenaz Fitness. I'm from Hyderabad and I'm on a mission to help people. I'm on a mission to get India healthy. I'm on a mission to get you healthy. I'm on a mission to get you fit. I'm on a mission to save one person from dying, and that's why I keep giving you content so that you can take at least one tip, implement it, and go and make a change. And then when you make that change, you create that ripple effect. You go and you make the change in somebody else's life, and that's like really huge. Today I'm going to be talking about 6 ways to train your brain to lose weight. Exercise not working. Diet not working. What's the missing link? Your brain. Your brain is capable of taking 35,000 decisions, conscious decisions in a day, including the amount of food that you eat, every bite that you take. Or the kind of workouts that you do. Your brain is capable of that. You are running after exercises. Most of you are running after diets, and you're stopping— you've just stopped thinking that it's your brain that you need to rewire. It's your mind that you need to rewire. It's time for you to Stop running after exercise and diet because exercise is only 10% of the time. Diets are only 10%. It's 80% of reprogramming of your brain that's actually going to help you to lose weight, to get fit, to get healthy, to get on that track which is sustainable. Everyone gets on that track. But not everyone sustains. So therefore, understand that this part, your inside brain, is very, very important. You have your conscious mind and you have your unconscious mind, right? And all the mind gurus are constantly talking about that. I'm not here to talk about that, but I'm here to talk about reprogramming and rewiring your unconscious brain. Which you have stopped listening to because of the kind of mind chatter that you've had. You've stopped that. It's just on pause, and that's why you're not able to take action. That's why you're not able to take the right action. So how are you going to do it? So I'm going to be sharing some 6 beautiful tips to train this brain of yours to be able to lose weight. Tip number 1: ditch the scale obsession. A lot of you are obsessed about the weighing scale. Stop it. You know what I say? I'm going to say it very boldly. Stop that. Stand in front of the mirror every day without your clothes and look at yourself and see whether you're making some progress. Or whether you like what you're seeing. If you like what you're seeing, chuck this video and continue doing whatever you're doing. But if you don't like this— like what you see, listen to me and start taking action. Because until and unless you don't take action, you're not going to get those results. By staying— by standing on the weighing scale every day and by not seeing the weighing scale move You're going to start feeling demotivated, and don't do that. Shift your beliefs. Beliefs about your food, beliefs about what you have been thinking is good for you. Stop kidding yourself. We are in a different time in history today. We're leading way more sedentary lives, and you and I both know it, that way more Jump food is available and accessible to us. Way more sugary foods is acceptable to us. Stop it. Just chuck it off. Just throw it away and make those changes. Start believing. Start believing that is not good for you. And when you start believing, over a period of time you will realize that you will just chuck it. For example, let's take the example of ice cream. It tastes so yummy, and maybe you're addicted to eating one ice cream every day. Maybe, I don't know. Now I want you to start believing that ice cream is not good for you, and you know that it's not. Over a period of time, you have reprogrammed your mind Rewired your mind and said that it is not good for me, and automatically the subconscious mind, when you see an ice cream, you will automatically reject it. So do that. Point number 3: Reprogramming and rewiring your mind is so important, but it's the toughest thing to do. So if you can't do it yourself Invest in a coach. Invest in a mentor who's had the experience of years of mind programming, who has the experience of keeping the weight off their bodies using the power of the mind. If you can't do it, don't run after just YouTube videos. Try to invest in a mentor who will be able to guide you step by step. Remember all your accomplishments. It's not that you— because you're watching this video, all is bad. All is good. You've done a lot of good for yourself in your health. So remember all those good times when you've gone for a run or participated in a 10K run or, uh, or a marathon. Remember your accomplishments and pat yourself. You'll start feeling good about it, and when you start feeling good about something, you'll start rewiring and reprogramming your mind. Focus on how you're feeling from inside rather than focusing on what you're looking outside. When you start feeling good from inside, It doesn't matter what you are from outside. You will start— you will get more clarity about taking the right action. And when you take the right action, you will start getting better results. So don't look at your physical appearance always. Look at how you're feeling from inside and start taking— make changes over there. And last but not the least, Practice new behavior patterns. Each day is a new day for you. Each day is a bright day. Try to, try to list down all the habits that you have and take one habit that needs to be changed and work on that one habit every day for minimum 21 days, and you will see that you will be able to ditch that habit easily and effectively. See, here I want you to again not just, just listen to me. I want you to make notes because when we listen, after some time we have forgotten it. I'm sharing all this from years and years of my experience. So now I want you to write down all these 6 points Keep it in your goal, in your, in your notebook. Look at it every day and see what are the changes that you need to make. And that way you will, you will start rewiring and reprogramming your mind. You will train your brain to lose weight because 10% is diet, 10% is workouts, and 80% is mind programming. 80% is programming your brain. So go all out there, program your brain, because your brain makes 35,000 decisions, is capable of making 35,000 decisions in a day. So hi guys, this is Dinaaz signing off. I want you to make a change. I'm on a mission to help you make that change, create that ripple effect, make that change in your own self. And go help somebody else because I can't do it alone. And I look forward to transforming you as days go by. Thank you and bye-bye.
