7 Habits Of People Who Lose Weight

In this instructional video, Deenaz, founder and CEO of Deenaz Fitness, outlines seven concrete habits that successful weight‑loss individuals adopt and maintain. The habits include: (1) planning meals ahead to avoid impulsive, unhealthy choices; (2) drinking sufficient water daily to stay hydrated and help flush toxins; (3) monitoring food intake to become aware of hidden calories; (4) avoiding starvation, which triggers a metabolic “fat switch” and leads to fat storage; (5) exercising regularly to burn excess calories and gain broader health benefits; (6) tracking progress through weight and body measurements to stay accountable; and (7) developing sustainable lifestyle habits that merge good practices and replace bad ones. Deenaz emphasizes practical implementation, shares personal routines, references his 27‑year experience, and ends with a call to like, subscribe, and comment.

Some people lose weight easily and keep it off them. Some people are never successful in losing weight, and there's some people who lose weight, gain it back again. Well, hi, my name is Dinas, and in this video I will be sharing 7 habits that successful people have that they adopt to help them to not only lose weight but also to keep it off them. So let's dig straight into them because these habits are very crucial and I want each and every one of you to imbibe and adopt these habits. So habit number 1 is plan your meals really well. I don't want you to wake up on a Monday morning and say, hey, today what am I going to cook? If you have not planned your meals, it is very easy for you to slip back into your comfort foods and make something that might not be healthy for you. So I personally plan my meals a week ahead of time, and if it is not possible a week ahead of time, at least do it one the night before. That way you have bought your groceries, chopped your stuff, put things in the freezer, fridge, organized your meat, organized your vegetables, and you're going to be able to make really good yummy food. And that way you can sustain a healthy lifestyle. Number 2, drink lots of water. The more water you drink, your body stays hydrated because 80% of the body is made up of water. When you drink a lot of water, you are going to be keeping your body toxins away from you. It's going to help you to flush out those toxins. So I'm not saying that go all out and say like drink 2.5-3 liters of water. Max to max, 1.5-2 liters of water is more than enough. And you don't have to measure it. Just drink as much as you can. By the time you drink water when you're thirsty, remember dehydration has already kicked in. So just make sure that you're drinking water systematically, but don't get obsessed about filling up 8 bottles and then sticking it on your table. Don't get obsessed about all that. Make it a lifestyle. Point number 3 is monitor your food intake. Very often, people who get on to this journey don't monitor what they eat. Now, when you don't monitor what you eat, you might just say, okay, now I'm just eating this, uh, dry fruit. Now I'm just going to eat this one cookie, and I'm eating very less food. But you don't realize that little by little by little, the whole thing is adding up at the end of the day. So I want you to know that when you're on this journey, when you're setting yourself on this journey, monitor what you're doing, what you're eating every day. At the end of the day, or at the end of the week, when you didn't get the results, look at it and say, Hey, you know what? I need to— you know what? I really need to cut down these things that I had in the afternoon the other day. So you'll realize it for yourself. Point number 4 is don't starve yourself. When you starve yourself, there is the FAT switch, which is the famine temperature switch in your brain, that gets kicked in. So whatever food that you're eating will start getting stored as stored body fat. So if you're used to eating one meal in the morning and you say that you'll skip lunch because you're trying to lose weight, whatever you've eaten in the morning will get absorbed by the body and get con— and it will get converted into fat. And that's not something that you want. That's why in order for you to keep your basic metabolic rate up, you need to have your basic 3 meals as our grandparents did teach us. Okay, don't worry about 5 meals a day and 6 meals meals a day. When I've noticed in the last few years, I've noticed that when I'm saying eat 5 or 6 meals a day, people are gaining weight because you're eating the same quantity and you're probably doubling the quantity. So just keep that monitoring your food intake very important. Don't starve yourself. Point number 5, my favorite, is exercise regularly. When you exercise, first and foremost, the benefits of exercise outweigh weight loss, weight gain, everything. The benefits of exercise are so good, but what's important is when you exercise, you are burning the excess calories in your body which are unwanted. And when you burn the unwanted calories, you want to keep that weight off you. Okay, so that's very important to learn, to balance your input and your output. Track your progress. So when you start this journey, make sure that you're tracking your progress continuously Check your weight and check your measurements and develop habits that you can maintain. Maintain— maintaining these habits are very, very important. So understand what your good habits are, understand what your bad habits are, merge them together and try to make changes in your— try to stick to your good habits and try to make those changes from the bad habits and make— create some new good habits. That you can sustain with. So I hope you all like this, this video very much. So if you're on this journey, I want you to make sure that you follow some of these habits which I myself have followed, and a lot of the people that I have worked with in the last 27 years have also followed these tips.
