Daily exercise. You know, you don't realize one thing, that you are leading a very sedentary life. Whether you're a homemaker or you have an office job or you're working from home, in the digital space today. You are leading way more sedentary life than you need to. According to the American College of Sports Medicine, leading a sedentary life, which means you're not as active as you should be, is as bad as cigarette smoking. So if you have got a desk job where you're seated all the time If you're a homemaker and you're not as active, understand that you are leading a very sedentary life and that you're putting your body to as much as risk as a person who's smoking. So therefore, it is very important for you to accumulate at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day. Minimum 30 minutes. Now these 30 minutes can be continuous activities or they can be accumulated throughout the day. This is the minimum that I want you to do, and that is minimum of 30 minutes of exercise every day. If you eat food every day, you need to nourish your body, physical body, every day, which means you need to exercise every single day. When I'm talking about exercise, I mean different components of exercise have to be included, which means you have to have a cardio segment, you have to have a strength segment, and you have to have a toning set— uh, flexibility segment. And this will comprise of your 30 minutes of routine. 30 minutes of physical activity will help you in prevention of a lot of heart problems, gets your immunity system up, your blood pressure is under control, your sugar levels are under control. You start feeling energetic, you look more energetic, you sleep better, you start— your body starts looking toned, you look slimmer, you look fitter, and you look brighter. And you're able to take better decisions. Your body is calmer and your mind is calmer. So therefore, daily exercise is very important. Remember that if you wake up in the morning and if you have a habit of brushing your teeth every day, which I'm sure you do, is also very important for you to move your body. So I would recommend that you start your morning with a morning routine of a meditation or something like that. Eat a healthy snack and then go straight into a 30-minute off workout. 30 minutes where your heart is pumping, you've got your heart rate up, you maintain it there for a while and you bring it down. Now for some reason, time— because of time constraints or because of medical problems, whatever— if you can't do 30 minutes at a stretch You can also accumulate it throughout the day. Every 5— every 1 hour you can do 5 minutes and you accumulate 30 minutes. Now this is medicinal, it's not an option. So therefore accumulating or having minimum of 30 minutes every day is very important. But I want you to think about one more thing that I'm going to tell you. It's not about what you— what workout you do, it's about how active are you throughout the day. So throughout the day, I want all of you, I want you to be active. Walk around, get the doorbell, put your glass away, walk to the grocery store, walk in the mall, walk as much as you can, move your body as much as you can. If you got a desk job, every 1 hour set an alarm and go for 5-minute walk and come back. Or climb the stairs. Don't use the lift. Be more active. Do some gardening over the weekends and get your body moving as much as possible. So along with your daily exercises, what you do throughout the day also will contribute to your health, contribute to your fitness levels. So I want you to stay active and stay fit. I will see you in the next video. Where you— I will be— my—
