In this personal monologue, Dinaaz – founder and CEO of Dinaaz Fitness, speaking as a mother of two adult sons – recounts her 30‑year journey to sustainable health and fitness. She describes starting to exercise while caring for a newborn, initially focusing solely on workouts and neglecting nutrition, which led to weakened immunity and family concern. After recognizing the need for balanced eating, she began sharing regular family meals, abandoning restrictive diets. A pivotal shift occurred when she prioritized mind programming—daily affirmations and meditation—to reshape her relationship with food and exercise. By committing to an hour of daily movement, embracing normal meals, and using mental‑training techniques, she achieved consistent energy, a glowing appearance, and a harmonious family life. She now offers specialized meditation modules (weight‑loss, stress, pre‑workout) to her Diamond members, illustrating how her personal transformation informs her professional services. The video serves as a motivational guide for mothers seeking realistic, mind‑focused pathways to health without extreme dieting.

Hello and welcome back. Today is not Dinaaz, founder and CEO of Dinaaz Fitness, talking to you. Today it is Dinaaz, the mom, who's going to talk to you. For those of you who don't know, I have two sons. 2 adult boys, 31 and 28. Yes, it's been 31 years, and as a mom, and the journey has been amazing, but there have been a lot of challenges of trying to be fit and healthy as a mom. And in this video, I'm going to be sharing with you all the things that I've done all my life Good, bad, ugly, everything. Be ready for it all. And finally reach that sweet spot of how to stay fit and healthy as a mom. So when I got pregnant 31 years ago, 32 years ago, I was feeling unfit, unhealthy, and I started my fitness journey when he was just 6 months old. Every time you would be sleeping, I would be exercising. And that's when I started. And then slowly, you all know my story, and slowly got into this industry and I started my gyms. And anyone who gets into this feels obsessed initially that, oh my God, I've got to lose weight from, you know, 55 kgs, I've got to come to 52, from 52 I've got to come to 45 and 48. These are all the unrealistic figures that a lot of people have when they first start losing weight. I had the same, and I was not focused on my diet, focused completely on my workouts and not eating nutritious food. Several times my husband Jamshed, very patiently, sometimes not so patiently, used to tell me that you're not eating enough. And I used to ignore it for years. Several times my children used to say, Mom, you're not eating enough. And I used to ignore it for years. But over a period of time, I started realizing that what they said was true because I started falling sick. My immunity system started coming down. Cold, cough, fever— been there. And then I decided that I have to stay fit and healthy even as a mom. I should look like a mom. Actually, I shouldn't look like a mom. And I decided to lead a normal life, a normal life where I would eat on the table with everyone. Whatever everybody ate, I would start eating it. But for many years, if they ate a certain meal, I would eat a separate meal. And that would keep my weight off me, but it was not happy. It was not a happy table. And then I decided to change everything. I changed the way I saw workouts. I changed the kind of workouts that I did and started striking my balance as a mom and as a fitness professional. As a mom, there were several times that I didn't have the time to cook separately for me. And I realized it over a period of few years that why should I? And I started eating normal food, and the young boys at home got a mom back. Earlier they had a mom who was obsessed. And over a few, few years, many years, guys, I decided to lead a normal life. I started going out with the children and my husband for ice creams. We started going out for dinners and we started leading a more normal life. And all this I could do only by programming my mind. Initially when I started, I thought that maybe I'm going to start gaining a lot of weight. I gave it a shot, but as I gave it a shot, I started saying the right affirmations. I started programming my mind. In my mind programming, I realized that I had to work more on my mind rather than on my body. So I got fit, I got more healthy, I looked better. My face was glowing, my hair was glowing, my body was glowing. As a mom, children loved it, my husband loved it. Today they like the new version of me. Secretly, they still, they still are worried that I don't eat enough food, but actually I eat a lot of food. And I hope my children and my husband watch this video because I do eat very well now. Because I want to lead a normal life as a, as a mom. And by leading a normal life and by exercising every single day, at least 1 hour a day, I lead a fit life. I'm a fit mom today. Whenever the children tell me, let's go and do some games, I'm ready for a games night, I'm ready to go out. I always have the energy. So I'm really proud of myself that I was able to achieve this without going on diets, by just using the power of my mind. So if you have similar fears like me, just let it go. Work on your mind. Mind programming plays a very big role. For our Diamond members, I have special modules where I work with only the mind. Meditation for weight loss, meditation for stress, Pre-workout meditations. I did all these things for myself, and now I'm doing it for my Diamond members. And by doing all these things, I kept myself fit as a mom. Everyone's loving it. Children love it. My husband loves it. And we go out, we go out for dinners together, we go out to the dhaba together, we go out for dosas together, and we lead a normal life, all because I I chose to be a fit mom. If I could do it, you could do it. You can do it too.
