Have you felt that in the last few weeks you've tried your very best to stay strong during this social isolation, but now you feel that you're exhausted? You feel you're getting cooped up? You're worried about your work? You don't know how to— you're worried about the uncertainties that are around us. Hi, my name is Deenaz, and in this video I'm going to be sharing with you 11 hacks that I have been personally doing during this social isolation period that really helped me to stay motivated, to stay strong, and to stay fit, and to stay healthy And I want to share these 11 hacks, and I, I really hope that they— I'm sure that you'll benefit from them. So let's start. Hack number 1: start first thing is start your day with a workout. As soon as you wake up in the morning, brush your teeth, have a cup of coffee or whatever that is you are used to, and then get into your gym clothes, nice crisp Well ironed gym clothes, shoes, braid your hair, or men, comb your hair. Look good as if you were going to a high-end gym. And then put on your YouTube channel, or if you're part of an online course, whatever it is that you are used to doing in the last few days, start that day with a nice routine. But when you do that workout, the message over here is not about the workout. I know that you will do the workout. The message over here is start your day feeling really strong by changing. Have a shower, change, do your workout, and then get back into a shower and start your day. Now, if you are working and you're working from home, and if whether you're working from home or whether you're a homemaker who's always at home, okay, I want you to, as soon as you have a shower, get dressed, put on office clothes, put on your good pretty dresses, and act as if you're getting ready to go to work. So you know when you're actually going to work, you're rushing, pushing, "Eh, mera yeh ka hai, woh ka hai," you're doing all that. Do all that and act as if you're going to work. Create that corner for yourself. Create a corner where you are dedicated over there all through the day and do your activity. And even if you're a homemaker, create the environment around your space in such a way that you're as if you're acting as if you're going to work. So you could really do that. Get dressed, put on your makeup. Men, put on your dress watches, your dress shoes, whatever it is, but do it because that's what will bring the discipline in your day. Number 3 is plan your day really well. You really have to make sure that as soon as you've done all this, write down on a paper what are the things that you want to do. So write down your goals, plan your, um, breakfast. Okay, so if breakfast is at 9 o'clock, lunch is at 1 o'clock, plan everything. Between 9 and 1, you're going to be sending out emails, or you're going to be picking up the phone, and doing those as if you were in at work. So plan your day, write down your to-do list for the day, and then get— continue with your day. Number 4, for you to be really healthy during this period, plan your meals one day ahead of time. So write down on a piece of paper, like in my home I have a whiteboard in my kitchen, so on my kitchen I, on my whiteboard in my kitchen, I write down what I'm planning for the week, and then I know exactly when I go to the mall, I go to the market right now, I know what I have to buy, and I'll buy only what is required, and I come back. And one night ahead, so supposing it is a dal, or let's say it's a lentil the next day for lunch, so I would soak the lentil that I prefer. It's not that I wake up in the morning, ah, what should I do? You know, if you don't plan it, then you will start eating the wrong foods. Right now food is not available online, but then when it's available, if you don't plan your food, you start eating the wrong things, and that's not good for your health, that's not good for your weight either. So now I want you to know that the 5th point is, times are tough. There's no doubt about it, but don't think lack. Don't think that you don't have enough. Think abundance. When you think abundance, whatever you eat, you won't gain weight. When you think abundance, you will experience that you have a lot of food around you. When you think abundance in this lockdown period and you go to the mall or you go to the supermarket, you're not going to buy 10 kgs of rice. You will buy only as much as required, and that will make— give you a good sense of abundance and not a feeling of lack. And when that happens, your health will be better, your mental health will be better, and your physical health will be better. You know, point number 6, I need not say it, but I've got to tell you that eat lots of fruits and lots of vegetables. Whatever that is you can get, just eat it. Point number 7, this is the time to declutter. So every time you're at home and you're working from home, in your break time Walk around every room one day at a time and see which room you need to declutter. Look at your drawers and see where you need to throw away paper. And you'll start feeling, as you're throwing away junk, you start feeling lighter. When you start feeling lighter, what happens? The weighing scale shows that you've lost weight. Guys, this is a hack. Declutter things around you, declutter your kitchen, and you'll see that your weight is dropping very fast. 8th point: stay positive. I stay positive come what may. In this period, my husband stuck in another country, my older son is stuck in another country, and yet I chose to make a difference in people's lives rather than sitting and crying about what's going to happen. So keep your thoughts very positive. You cannot change the situation outside, but you can change your internal system. And that's why I want you to stay super positive. Play cool music, I love music and I play cool music whenever I want to. Whenever I want to visualize something, I play my favorite music. Whenever I walk around to get my desired steps, I play some cool music. Whenever I'm cooking, I play some music. So guys, music will bring in a lot of cheer in your life. Point number 10: sleep at least 7 to 8 hours every day and you'll start feeling fresh, Just because you're not going out of the house, that doesn't mean that you don't get up early. That means that you've got to get up even earlier. So if you are waking up at 6, start waking up at 5. Had a friend who told me that she's not attending my sessions because she's sleeping in late so that the days are shorter. The days will not become shorter. The more positive you are, the more active you are, Your days will remain super cool. And the last point, point number 11, practice gratitude. You are in your own home right now. Express gratitude to all that's around you, because once this is over and once you step out, you won't have the time. So express gratitude to your walls, to your sofa, to your bed, to your computer. To your in-ears, to yourself. And when you start doing that, you will start feeling a sense of joy and a sense of accomplishment and a sense of calmness. And even during these tough times, you will start making things happen for you. So guys, this is the time for you to make things happen for you. Don't let the external environment break your internal environment. Thank you so much for watching this video.
