I get asked this question so many times that, Dinas, why should we work on our core? Why can't we just stick to the entire body? And why should we— why can't we just do abs? Remember that the core comprises of the lower abs, the upper abs, the obliques, and the upper back muscles, the mid-back muscles, and the lower back muscles. All these core muscles are attached to your spine and the spine has a natural S-shape. And the core is the power horse of your entire body. So whenever— think about whenever you want to lift a baby up or a heavy weight up, you bend down and you normally don't just lift up. You will normally bend down and subconsciously your abdominal muscles will tighten, especially if the weight is high and then you heavy, and you lift the baby up or you lift the heavy weight up. And that is why strengthening the core is very important so that you can prevent any injury from happening in your day-to-day life.
