Important Habits for a Healthier Life with Dinaz Fitness | Mind Body Fitness

In this solo presentation, Dinaz (also referred to as Dinas) shares the five core habits that have shaped her 30‑year health journey and enabled her to avoid doctors, improve family wellbeing, and maintain happiness. She outlines each habit with personal anecdotes, practical tips, and the underlying rationale. 1. Exercise – daily movement is non‑negotiable; she stresses choosing an activity you love (e.g., music‑driven aerobics) so exercise feels effortless and becomes a habit. 2. Nutrition Planning – she rejects fad diets, advocating balanced, home‑cooked meals that incorporate family recipes, grains, colorful vegetables, and fruits. 3. Mindfulness & Meditation – using visualization, law‑of‑attraction concepts, and guided meditation to rewire negative self‑talk into positive health‑focused thoughts. 4. Sleep – emphasizes at least eight hours, a 9 p.m. bedtime, and a device‑free wind‑down to regulate hormones and curb cravings. 5. Positive Thinking & Affirmations – crafting and chanting personal affirmations to eliminate negative thoughts and program the subconscious for healthy choices. Dinaz concludes by inviting viewers to a detailed masterclass and to join her Dinaz Fitness community, urging likes, shares, and subscriptions. The overall message is that integrating these five habits creates an “automatic mode” for health and happiness.

Are you ready to transform your health and your mindset today for a better life, for a quality of life? Hi, my name is Dinas, and in this video I will be sharing with you 5 habits that I transformed for myself in the last 30 years of my career in order to lead a healthier life, and most important is in order to lead a very happy life. Today, because of all these 5 habits that I have been working with continuously, I don't go to a hospital, I don't go to a doctor, and most important is I was able to not only transform myself but I was also able to make changes in my family. So here are the most important 5 habits that are going to help you to make that change. Habit number 1, exercise and workouts. Not working out is not an option. Is my funder. But over the last several years, I realized that there were many challenges that I also faced— time, work, family, travel. Now, are these some of the challenges that you are facing? Yes, and I face those challenges as well. So first thing you need to understand that when you exercise, there will be a lot of— you're going to get a lot of benefits. Most important is your body will start shrinking, your body will be toned, but your body will fight all the lifestyle issues that you're facing currently today. And even if you don't have them, you'll be able to prevent all these lifestyle issues. And along with that, when you exercise every single day, you will be able to feel very fit and energetic at the end of the day, and you'll be able to do your day-to-day chores, your housework, house jobs, your jobs at your place of work with a lot of energy and a lot of, uh, and a lot of energy and a lot of vigor. So now that you know that exercising is important and that you have a lot of benefits, how did I make exercise a habit for myself? The thing that I did for myself was I chose the activity that I enjoyed the most. So something that I enjoy the most is music. And movement to music. So about 30 years ago when I stumbled and discovered aerobics, I started working on my own self and with just my friends around me. By doing that I realized that when I was teaching somebody else, I was also working on my own body. Well, while I don't want to force something down your throat, but if you start enjoying an activity, then stick to that activity. Don't try to follow something on social media that is working for other people because it might not work for you because you don't like it. So choose an activity that you enjoy. 99% of the people, in my experience, has been people love music and especially Bollywood music. See, if you like music, if you like any vernacular music, play that music while you're doing your exercise. And what will happen is you'll even forget that you're exercising and you will start being more regular because you're enjoying the activity. So enjoy the physical activity that you choose so that it becomes a habit. Habit number 1 was exercise. So if you want to create a habit where you're going to eat healthy food, habit number 2 is not about diets, but habit number 2 is nutrition planning. Because, you know, 20-30 years ago, I used to be totally anal about doing a lot of diets. No carb diet, GM diet, Veera Malchani diet, this diet, that diet. I tried them all, but I used to feel very depressed because my family was having some other meals on the dining table, and I was trying to have some other meals, and I used to feel kind of left out, and I could tell that they are looking at me and they're judging me. And one day I realized that that's not the kind of life I should be leading, and so I decided to chuck all the diets, and I decided to work on nutrition planning. When you plan your nutrition really well, then you'll be able to understand that you're going to eat home-cooked food. And number 2 is you will involve a lot of your family recipes, and grains, colorful vegetables, and fruits for sure will be in your nutrition planning. So habit number 2, nutrition planning, worked wonders with me. Habit number 3 is mindfulness and meditation. I realized many, many years ago that if I did not put my mind to achieving something, I would not have achieved it. And many years ago, I did stumble upon the fact that if I wanted something, for example, if I wanted a mobile phone, supposing I wanted a mobile phone and I kept thinking about it, I realized that at some point either I would have bought the mobile phone irrespective of its price, or I would have at least attracted it as its my family would have gifted it to me. So I realized that, that if something we think about a lot, we are easily going to be able to attract it. That is the law of attraction of the universe. And when I discovered this many years ago, I started thinking about it and I thought to myself that why not apply the same concept in my health and fitness journey. So habit number 3 is mindfulness, meditation, was something— rewiring my mind was something that was very important for me, and I started working on having a very positive mind. So instead of saying that I'm gaining weight, instead of saying that I'm not losing weight, I started thinking about mindfulness, about better health, about a better body, about a slimmer body. And when I started thinking about that tremendously, I was able to attract that good health. So habit number 3 has helped me tremendously and is very important for you because you have a lot of— a lot of you have a lot of negative mind chatter. I'm not good enough, I'm gaining weight, and all those things. How about using guided visualizations and guided meditation techniques for you to rewire your mind so that you remove all the negativity and start focusing on attracting positive health? And that is something that I focus on 100% with my community members. We have a lovely community. Called the Dinaaz Fitness Community, and one of the most important things in the community is mind programming. And when you rewire your mind, habit number 3, rewiring your mind, when you rewire your mind by meditation, by visualization, by mindfulness, wow, your health is going to be on automatic mode. Habit number 4 that worked with me wonders is sleep. I've noticed that in the last 10 years, a lot of people are suffering from insomnia, and that's not something that you were born with. Most of the reasons for that are a lot of hormonal changes that happen in the body. Again, that's linked to the kind of food and the kind of stress that you go through. But the bigger, bigger problem about sleep issues that a lot of people are facing is that you're sitting on your mobile phone or watching TV or Netflix at the end of the day. While I know, I get you, that it relaxes you after a long day at work or at home, there are many other ways for you to relax your body. And that's something that I've always been working on, and I've always kept myself blessed with really good sleep. When you sleep well, at least a minimum of 8 hours a day, your body does not release hormones, does not release cortisol, which in turn wants you to eat carbohydrate foods. And plus, when you sleep very late, the cravings for eating more and sugary foods is very high. So get into the habit of sleeping by 9 o'clock. Yes, you heard me right. And do I sleep at 9 o'clock? 90% of the times I do try my level best to get into bed by 9 and just switch off from my devices and try to just calm my mind by my mind with some meditation some visualization, some subconscious programming, get ready for the next day, and that way I sleep like a baby. So your goal in habit number 4 is you've got to start sleeping like a baby. Last but not the least, positive thinking and affirmations have done wonders to me in my life. I've figured out that people who don't get the results are the ones who are talking about their problems a lot. So think about it. If you talk about your problems a lot, the law of the universe is such that it will come and give you those problems again. How about you stop thinking about the problems? One fine day, the problems will leave you. You are the one who's attracted those medical problems, and it is in your hands for you to have that strong mindset, to have to say the right affirmations, to have the strong positivity. And the right mindset for you to be able to get rid of it. And how did I use this strong 5th habit? By chanting affirmations. I mastered the art of creating affirmations for whatever I want. And how did it help me? By chanting my affirmations, I have no room in my mind for any negative thoughts. And over and above that, I'm reprogramming my subconscious mind so that my conscious mind is always doing the right things. So these are really strong 5 powerful habits that have changed my life. So just to recap all the 5 habits. Number 1, daily exercise. If you eat food every day, you must move your body every single day. Number 2, balanced nutrition. Number 3, mindfulness and meditation. Number 4, sleep. And number 5, the power of positive thinking and affirmations. These things have transformed my life completely.
