In this instructional video, the presenter expands the habit‑building series from exercise to nutrition planning, arguing that structured nutrition habits are more sustainable than fad diets. Five core benefits are outlined—weight management, higher energy, better time use, cost savings, and personal satisfaction from home‑cooked meals. The speaker then provides a step‑by‑step framework: (1) set clear weight‑loss or food‑choice goals, (2) create a detailed weekly meal plan, (3) shop for groceries and perform meal‑prep (the presenter cites personal success at age 58), (4) eat only what was planned and stay consistent despite a busy life, and (5) track intake and progress with a food‑tracker, emphasizing small, enjoyable steps. The video promotes the DFC community’s exclusive Nutrition Planning program for Silver members and invites new viewers to join a masterclass, urging repeated viewing of the module for reinforcement.

Welcome back to my series of building up good habits for your health and fitness journey, which are really effective for you. In the previous video, I focused on exercise and why building up habits for exercise are very important. Now the next step for you is nutrition planning. Nutrition planning is going to help you to not focus on diets and focus on what you're culturally used to eating. So here are 5 reasons why you really need to focus on building up habits for nutrition planning. It helps in really and truly in your weight management. What happens when you build up a habit of planning your nutrition before, say, by the weekend, and in that plan you're not going to write Swiggy and Zomato. So you're going to eat what you're culturally used to eating and you're going to eat your home food. So here is a way to avoid eating outside food and helps you in weight management. Nutrition planning also helps in improving your energy levels. Because you're going to eat nutritious food where you are going to focus on macronutrients and micronutrients and avoid all the unnecessary junk food. And by doing this, your energy levels are going to go up and you're not going to feel tired because you're going to eat the right food throughout the day. Nutrition planning is also important for you to manage your time. It's also cost-effective because you're not ordering food from outside. And most important is gives you a sense of satisfaction that you've cooked your own food at home. So planning your nutrition and having habits to plan your nutrition are very, very important. Now we have a special program at the— for the Silver members called Nutrition Planning, and if you're a member and you've not done that program, I want you to go straight over there and watch that program. So here are a few ways in which you can build up your habits for nutrition planning. First thing is set yourself a goal. How much weight do you want to lose, or what are the kind of foods that you want to eat, and what are the kind of types of foods that you want to eat throughout the week? Set yourself a goal. Secondly, create a weekly plan. So on Sun— on like a Saturday, I would suggest that you create a plan for yourself. Go out there and write down what you want to eat on for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Next step is go and buy the groceries. Or say on the weekend, on Saturday, go and buy the groceries and make sure that you've done meal prep. For us at the DFC community, meal prep is very important, and personally, honestly speaking, that's how I'm able to manage my weight. That's how I'm able to stay healthy without any diseases even at the age of 58. Plan your nutrition, meal prep, and be ready for the next week. Next habit that you want to believe, you want to inculcate is Eat what only what you have planned. So you might have planned something and a lot of things come by in our lives. You know, we all lead busy lives, but stick to the plan. Sticking to the plan will help you in creating a good plan that is sustainable, not only for yourself but also for your family members. Some other ways in which you can actually build up your nutrition planning habits is track your progress. So we talked about food trackers earlier. So track your progress, have a food tracker where you're going to write the date, what you've eaten on that day, and how many calories you've burnt. Track everything that you've eaten. So you know that every 5 almonds that you consume also extra calories. Start small, don't get intimidated. It's a very long journey, and it's not only the question of long journey, it's going to be a very sustainable journey. And most important is by planning your nutrition, I want you to make it enjoyable for yourself. So by Creating healthy habits for nutrition planning is going to help you tremendously. Now, if you are a member of the DFC community, please go to the nutrition planning module and watch it again and again. I would say watch it at least once a week.
