This is how I set myself up for a PRODUCTIVE and ENERGETIC DAY

Deenaz shares five strategies for a productive day: a minimal desk with one inspiring object, phone away with notifications off, natural light and a plant, 90-minute breaks with stretches, and calmness anchors like soft music and affirmation cards.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. I'm Deenaz here, and today I want to share with you something very personal on how I set up my work environment to stay calm, focused, and productive. Over the years, I realized something very powerful: the way your environment feels has a huge impact on your energy, your stress, and most important, your creativity. So let me take you through a few simple but most productive shifts that I have made. Are you ready? Tip number 1: Declutter for clarity. Earlier, my desk used to be full of papers, reminders, even, you know, half-finished cups of coffees and water. And honestly, it reflected exactly on how my mind felt— scattered. Now I keep only what I truly need: my laptop, my diary, and maybe one inspiring object like a candle or a flower vase that keeps me in the zone. When your desk is clear, your mind becomes clear, and you'll be surprised how much more can get done in less time. Tip number 2: Scrolling, tech distractions. When smartphones first came, I found myself constantly checking on WhatsApp and endlessly scrolling. It was draining me. Today I've adapted completely. My phone stays away from my desk, notifications are off, and I set fixed times to check my messages. And because this is what has helped me, as soon as your distractions are away from you, you'll start feeling better. Tip number 3: Light, air, and energy. I never realized how much natural light matters until I worked in a darker room for months. Now I always position my desk near a window and I keep a small plant nearby because greenery instantly lifts up my mood. Your environment should give you energy, not drain it, and even small changes can make a huge difference. Please make these changes. If you're enjoying such tips, then I have an amazing, uh, chapter on decluttering in our nutrition planning module. If you're a member of DFC, please go and do that again because entire decluttering space is super important. These are all designed specially for busy professionals like you in order to not only reset your body but also reset your lifestyle. Are you ready for tip number 4? Mindful breaks. Rituals are very important, I get it. Earlier I used to, you know, power through hours and hours of work thinking it's productive, but actually it made me tired, it made me irritable and less effective. Now every 90 minutes I pause for 2 to 3 minutes. I either stretch or I sip some water or I even just close my eyes. These tiny resets have made a big change in my productivity. And tip number 5, how to anchor your calmness is most important. I love having these little anchors in my space. Soft background music, you know, sometimes like a diffuser oil or even a short affirmation card on my desk. And these gentle reminders keep me centered. Even on my busiest day. So those of you who feel that you need some changes, those of you who have been going through a lot of hard work during your work days, it's not about perfection, but it's about awareness, and it's also about momentum. Know what is draining your energy and know what it is— what will fuel it. I'd love to know from you any other tips that you actually do at your place of work so that I could also implement it.
