In this motivational health video, the speaker urges viewers to abandon fad diets such as intermittent fasting and keto and instead prioritize nutrition planning through home‑cooked, culturally familiar meals. Drawing on personal experience of trying numerous diets over 29 years, the speaker describes the negative side‑effects—brain fog, low energy, irritability—experienced while dieting. A turning point in 2011 led to a switch to regular home food (Indian staples like idli, eggs, upma, poha, rice, dal, vegetables, khichdi, rotis), which restored clarity, energy, and a feeling of being "clean" inside and out. The speaker recommends practical steps: cook meals at home, eliminate food‑delivery apps (Swiggy, Zomato), eat traditional family dishes, consume smaller portions, practice gratitude while eating, and enjoy meals with family. The overarching message is that nutrition planning and culturally familiar home food are more sustainable and healthier than chasing trendy diet rules.

Healthy diet. Very often you focus on a diet and not on the nutrition part of it. I want you to know that stop running after fad diets. Stop thinking that you'll get the results only if you do an intermittent fasting. Stop thinking that you'll get the results only if you do a keto diet or you do a diet which is like in fashion. Stop thinking about that. I wanted to reprogram your mind and I wanted to start believing in the fact that nutrition planning is more important than diets. Healthy eating is more important than diets. And one of the first things I want you to know about healthy eating is that when you start eating healthy, you'll start feeling clean from inside and outside. The belly bloat will start coming down. You'll start feeling refreshed. There'll be a lot of energy that is around you, very clean, pure energy. So I want you to know one thing, that when I'm talking about healthy diets, when I'm talking about healthy eating, one of the most important things that I have focused on, and it has worked wonderfully for me in my life, is home food. I want you to know that I have tried all the diets except intermittent fasting and keto. I have done a lot of diets in in my 29 years because I wanted to experience what one goes through. And the only thing that I experienced when I went on a diet was brain fog because my body was craving for nutrition and my brain went into a fog, cloudiness, not enough clarity of thoughts. No energy, feeling irritable all the time. Till one day I decided, in 2011, I decided to switch off completely and just eat normal home food. And I started eating home food, cooked at home. Idlis, eggs for breakfast, ukma, poha, regular breakfast, Indian breakfast. Rice, dal, and vegetable for lunch, and a curry, a couple of curries and rotis or rice for dinner. When I started sticking to this, I started eating food more happily because I knew that I was not on a diet, because I knew that I was eating the food that was making me comfortable. Because I knew that it was clean home food, healthy home food. So the best thing for you to do is start cooking at home and eat what is made on your— in your kitchen. Remove the apps Swiggy, Zomato, all those apps, just remove them from your phone. Don't eat food from outside, it's not at all healthy. Even if you're ordering just a Subway salad, it's not healthy, guys. So I want you to start focusing on your food that is made at home. If your grandma does not know the name of that food, don't eat it. Eat what your grandma taught you to eat— khichdi, yellow dal, rice. Veggies, greens, beans. These are all foods that I grew up eating, and I started thinking that why should I give up the foods that I grew up eating? Why should I follow a fad diet that tells me don't eat carbs, don't eat this, don't eat that? Don't— it didn't work for me, and I want you to know that it will not work for you as well. So plan your nutrition in a more healthy manner. Stop running after diets. Eat what you're culturally used to eating— home food, happy meals. Eat with your family. Eat in smaller portions. Eat feeling the feelings of gratitude. Eat feeling happy and feel nourished from inside. When you start feeling nourished from inside, you will automatically feel and look nourished from outside. So stop running after fad diets, focus on nutrition paling and healthy diets. I look forward to seeing you in the next video.
