Hi, I'm Dr. Don Wood from the Inspire Performance Institute. One of the things that is sort of concerning about the current times that we're in with all the stress around the coronavirus is if we think back to Even World War II, one of the problems that is when a lot of these soldiers came back, it was sort of a macho thing. It was not really a good thing to talk about. So they really bottled up a lot of their feelings, a lot of the things that they experienced. And obviously, war has seen some horrific things that they experienced during that time, and they had no way to express what they were feeling and experiencing. So a way to avoid that. And the great thing about today as we understand that, it's not a good thing to bottle that up. So if you're really feeling stressed and you're looking for ways to reduce that stress, reach out to somebody and talk to them, whether that doesn't have to necessarily be a counselor or a therapist. You can even reach out to a friend and let them know how you're feeling. Don't bottle it up. Don't suppress it. Find ways to release that stress, be able to talk to people, feel calmer. Those are great ways to avoid. What a lot of soldiers come back with was that feeling of repressed anger, repressed feelings of emotions that they haven't been able to express. So don't be afraid to go out and ask for help in these times. There's lots of people that will be out there willing to help you, and maybe you can even provide some help for other people that may be dealing with the same thing, especially some older people. Even young children are going to be experiencing something for the first time that they never knew was possible. So if you need some help, feel free, reach out and ask for some help, or maybe even help other people. All right? Take care.
