Let's see, it's October. So a couple months ago, beginning of August, I got a puppy, which I had been waiting for for several months. Finally it was the day to go pick the puppy up. And I got my little puppy and I had her for four days and she got mauled. She was killed by a dog. I think it was about three weeks. So I had to deal with some. A lot of post trauma feelings and events in my head. And it was. I was having nightmares. I couldn't sleep the first couple days. I was like in a state of shock, hysterically crying for three weeks. The picture of what happened from leaving, like the minute of leaving my place, my house, down to the. Actually all the way up to the vet when we had to put her to sleep was constant. It was constant was the story that was playing. And it wouldn't stop because we do different techniques or different, what are they techniques in the room during the session. The one that was very significant and the one that I really remember is there's a. It's a story. So you tell me to picture, there's up to 12 frames and to walk through. There's the event. So from the beginning of me actually leaving my house all the way up until the end, So I had 12 pictures of what happened. And then we mix up the frames so it's 1 through 12 at first and then it goes to 2, then imagine 4 and then 6, whatever. And it changed up the story when it was over and it was time for me to leave immediately. I felt like I lost a thousand pounds in my head, my shoulders, and a relief I was seeing. Everything was brighter and it was unbelievable. Like I was just like, holy moly. Like, this is amazing that this is. It's like kind of gone. And it's been a couple months now and I have no. It sounds weird, but I have no emotion to the actual story. Like I really can't see the story anymore. I can tell you the story, but I can't see the picture because of this special therapy, this trauma therapy that I've had. I'm doing really well and this can help anybody. It can help somebody from childhood traumas all the way up to something that is so recent for somebody.
Just keep sharing my story. That's the only thing I can do to really help other people be more open to this. Because it was one session. I didn't just go talk to a therapist. That would have just been a whole months and months of therapy. This was one session and the story.
Went away, the anxiety went away, the crying stopped, and my family members immediately saw the difference.
