It contains a first-person testimonial by Peggy Cooper describing her 12 years working with people in high-conflict situations and how a simple set of de-escalation tools she learned from the presenter/coach has helped her professionally (including in divorce coach training) and personally (improving her marriage and ability to face confrontations). She emphasizes the practical value of the approach and its expected ripple effect.

My name is Peggy Cooper, and I have been, for 12 years now, I have been working with people who find themselves in high-conflict situations. And I myself have always been an extreme avoider of high-conflict situations. So I tried to grab all the tools that I could to help people de-escalate, to deal with this better. And the first time that I saw, that I was sort of guided to you by a very fluke situation, I found— I said, this is something, this is something really important. And so as I have worked with you, I have just found that it's really so simple. I've asked the question many times, could it really be so simple? And it is, it just seems so simple. So I've shared it with our classes in our divorce coaching, divorce coach training program. And I've— a few of them have really grabbed a hold of it. I have found that I am now fearless in facing people who might confront me. I've found myself very much more able to deal with just the things that come up in my life, in my personal life with regard to all of those things that just cause you an immense amount of frustration. And I've just been able to really keep my eye on what it is that I'm really trying to accomplish and de-escalate myself in that over and over again. It's helped my marriage. It's helped me in my relationships with people in our class that are, you know, really dealing with— they're confronted by things. And so I found that it's just been so valuable to me, and I can't— you know, I know that the value as we continue to work together and as we continue to practice together is just going to become more and more and more. It's going to have a— I think it's going to have the impact that you wanted it to have. You know, that ripple effect. And so, thank you.
