The first thing you should do when you have ED is go get your blood work done, either with your primary care doctor or with a sexual health specialist, and get a detailed history, exam, blood work such as glucose, which is fasting, your hemoglobin A1C, which is the marker of what your blood sugar is within the last 90 days. And you need to get your lipid profile done or to see your cholesterol, whether you have high cholesterol or not. And you need to get your total and free testosterone done as well, just to screen whether it's hormone, blood sugar problem, high cholesterol.
