Do Penis Pumps REALLY Work for Erectile Dysfunction? (Explained by a SEXUAL HEALTH Doctor)

Dr. Anne Truong explains how penis pumps work for erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow and oxygen to penile tissue. They can produce roughly 20-25% enlargement and work best for mild ED or Peyronie's disease. Safe use requires proper lubrication, avoiding the scrotum, keeping pressure at 7-10 mmHg, and limiting sessions to 10 minutes.

Hi, I'm Dr. Anne Trunk. I'm a physician and I specialize in men health and sexual health. Today we're going to talk about penis pumping and why should you pump? So this is called a penis pump. And why should you be using this? The indication for this is that if you have mild erectile dysfunction and also if you have a curvature your penis called Peyronie's disease, when you pump, it does resolve that as well. But pumping can also enlarge the penis by around 20, 25%. And how it does that is that it brings in more blood flow from your heart to the penis and therefore it brings in more oxygen. And it's almost like you go into the gym and doing a biceps curl. When you do a biceps curl, you bring in more blood flow to the muscle and you're enlarging the muscle. The same thing when you do the penis pump, you're bringing blood flow to the penis and therefore you can enlarge it. You can also resolve the bending from Peyronie's and you can also treat only mild cases of ed. And I'm going to talk you into how to do this properly. So before you do it, make sure that you shave around the base of the penis and that you are relaxed and that you're in a private place and that you are sitting or standing. Because when you're sitting or standing, it's easier to control the cylinder and the placement. And you always want to make sure you have a water based type like lubrication because if you don't, it ruin the cylinder tube and irritation to the skin. You want to put the lubrication on the tip of the penis and also add the base of the penis here. And then you also want to put the lubrication on the base of the cylinder. And this is a 2 inch cylinder or a medium sized cylinder. And as you're standing or sitting, best to sit at the side of the bed or the side of the table. You want to push it in all the way until it touches your pubic bone, all the way to the base and touches your pubic bone. And then avoiding the scrotum, you don't want to get the scrotum, then you get the scrotum. You may not have a tight seal. So once you have a tight seal and it's pressed against the base of the pubic bone, then you want to use the handle here and how you want to do it. You want to pump the handle. You want to pump the handle until it goes up to 10 millimeter mercury, which is right here. 10 millimeter mercury, around 7 to 10 millimeter mercury. And you want to leave it inflated in the cylinder for 10 minutes. When 10 minutes is over, you press this button, the back button on here, to deflate. So once it deflate, you take the cylinder out, wait for about 10, 15 minutes, then you do the same thing over again, again pumping up to 7 to 10 millimeter mercury, leave it there for 10 minutes and again deflate. You should do this. If you didn't have the P shot or the prior push shot, then you should be doing this about five, six times a week. If you do have the P shot or the prior foot shot, I would recommend that you do about three to four times a week, maybe up to five times a week for six weeks. And for men you want enlargement, you can do this at a minimum frequency about three to four times a week for as long as you need to. Again, this is natural way of improving blood flow to the penis. To treat ED for Peyronie's and also for penile tissue health and for enlargement. And again, I'm Dr. Truong and share with me what you think about the instructions and make any comment. Thank you.
