Hi, my name is Penny, and I've been a participant in Dr. Truang's MediFit program, and I'm excited to share some of my results with you. I started in the program because I had my weight had gotten up to about 180. My cholesterol level, my triglyceride level was high. I was borderline diabetic. My doctor wanted to treat me with statins, and I said, let me give me a chance to try and see what I can do. Let me lose weight and change my eating habits and exercise and things. So I came across the program, actually, as I brought my mom in for another appointment. So I joined the program specifically to lose weight and to decrease my body fat percentage and see if I couldn't turn some things around. I was also facing a really challenging time at work. I was starting a big project, and I didn't want to fall into the trap of just kind of eating mindlessly. So I've been so thrilled with the program. Working with her every week and her staff, I've been able to lose about 25 pounds, significantly drop my body fat percentage, keep my energy level up, really look at my food and eat mindfully and exercise. So I really recommend the program. It's given me just a real enthusiasm about continuing to be healthy. The other thing is that my inflammatory rate, inflammation rate markers dramatically changed as I lost weight. I saw that my inflammation was going down. It was exciting times.
