Arena in Fredericksburg is a dream come true. So thank you very much for allowing me to receive this award. I want to take a moment to thank some people that has brought me here to this moment, and particularly first and foremost, the first person I want to thank is my family, who is my husband over there, Bow, and my two children, Ryan and Kelsey. He is my biggest cheerleader and his faith in me and his our family, unconditional love has brought me to the point where I'm at right now and all the achievement that I've made. So thank you very much for being there for me and thank you for the nice introduction. I so glad I'm here in Fredericksburg. I'm actually from California, and we made the best decision we ever made to move to Fredericksburg in 2000 to start a medical practice. And I want to thank Mary Washington Hospital for bringing me here to start a practice in physical medicine and rehabilitation because they recognize there is a need for rehabilitation and physical medicine. What we do is our mission is to really make quality of life differences in our patient, one patient at a time, by treating the source of the problem and not medicating the problem. So in 2000, our mission was let's try to treat this without medication and using surgery as a last resort. And we started out in 2000 and Lord and behold, 2018, now we have an epidemic problem with opioids. We were kind of way ahead before our time because I recognized that we need to really do something that's meaningful for our patient and to be innovative and not just use what's been there for, for a long time and to incorporate Western and eastern medicine and whatever medicine that really makes a difference to our patient. So we look forward in our practice every year to be the best we can be, to be the innovators, and to incorporate whatever is out there that we feel will make a difference to our patient's life. So that has always been our mission. We believe that we made a difference in the community. I also want to thank the community in Fredericksburg and since I've been here for the last 18 years, the doctors, the business leaders that helped me, Spotsylvania Regional Medical center, and everybody that has really helped propelled us. And most Importantly, my patient, 38,000 plus and ongoing since the last 18 years, who has teached me to be the best doctor I can be. And I thank you all for giving me that opportunity. And last and not foremost, I want to mention about the women entrepreneur. Being ambassador is one of the most proud appointments I've had aside with this one as well is that we recognize that women, if we elevate women financially, we elevate the community, the state, the country. So the women entrepreneur is just not about women. It's about helping women become entrepreneur and helping women entrepreneur do better. And it's involving men and women. So we know that women is central to helping the family. And if we elevate women, we help everyone in general, our community. In our state, the women entrepreneur is present as part of the United nations, is present in 144 countries, 110 universities. We have ambassadors all over the world. And it's a great opportunity for me to interact with all these great leaders all over the world. So one of my mission is being ambassador for Virginia is to hold an event once a year to celebrate and to help women entrepreneur. So I decided to have this on November 14th is the Wednesday this year. And I hope that all of you here, the business leaders, the political leaders, everyone here, please come to me and help me make this the greatest event for women entrepreneurs in Virginia, the first inaugural one that's ever been held. So again, and it's not just for women, it's actually for men as well. And again, thank you all and thank you for giving me this award. I'm much, much appreciat.
