But also know that thyroid hormone also work on the penis as well too, because in the corpus cavernosa, which is the penis muscle, it also has the receptors for thyroid hormone in there. So you have low thyroid, the receptors are not as responsive. But the good news is that you can supplement thyroid hormone with L thyroxine or thyroid hormone, depending upon what the blood work shows.
