YouTube testimonial (uploaded by Anne Truong MD) featuring a patient, Matt, describing treatment at the Trung Rehabilitation Center for a shoulder injury. Matt reports he was previously diagnosed with a frozen shoulder and tears in three of the four rotator cuff tendons; a surgeon recommended surgery with a 60–70% chance of success and an expected recovery of 9 months to a year. Instead he received PRP and bone marrow treatments at Trung, was back at work within a week, regained substantial mobility, is pain-free a few months later, and has returned to prior activities (including losing weight).

Hi, my name is Matt. And the reason that I came to the Trung Rehabilitation center is because about three years ago, I injured my shoulder and I had very limited mobility in that arm. Prior to coming to see Dr. Trung, I had tried traditional physical therapy, and I actually went to a specialist, a surgeon, to check out my shoulder. He told me that I had a frozen shoulder and. And that I had tears in three of the four of my rotator cuff and that it would require surgery. They had told me that that was really my only option and that even then there would be a 60 to 70% chance of success, but that I wouldn't get full mobility like I have now. So the way I heard about the Trung Rehabilitation center was through my uncle. He had come here for knee surgery, knee operation of some sort. Anyways, I just noticed how well he walked, and he didn't have anything but great things to say about Dr. Trum and about the center. So I came, checked it out. In the process, she worked on my frozen shoulder. I ended up with the prp and I also had the bone marrow done. And where the traditional surgery told me I'd be gone at least nine months to a year, I was back at work within a week. The thing that I'd like to tell people about the Trauma Rehabilitation center is this. It gave me my life back. It gave me the opportunity to do the things that I could do prior to my injury. I've gotten a lot more mobility than I've had before. I wasn't able to sleep at night, and it affected my job just from top to bottom. Every day I was in pain, and now, just a few months out, I have no pain. I'm enjoying the activities I enjoyed beforehand, and I've even lost weight because I've been able to return to some of the things that I really enjoyed beforehand.
