You collect the blood from the vein, and then it gets put into a centrifuge. And then after it spins for about five minutes, the doctor usually does this. You take it out, and then the blood looks like this. It's in the container and the middle layer, where the platelets are, along with the white blood cells. And then the doctor will extract out the middle layer, which is the platelets, and that is then put into the injured area. The platelets has multiple growth factors that will stimulate repair, will stimulate blood flow to the area and rejuvenate the tissue.
