Thank you for being here today. Rob, tell us, what procedure did you have done with Dr. Truong?
Well, I had the platelet replacement therapy done on my left knee.
Okay. What was life like before you had that procedure done?
It was one of extreme pain. Every step I took, every day, wherever I go, every step I took was just painful. It hurt to get up to go to the bathroom. It hurt to get up to go get something to drink. It was a point where you really couldn't do anything. I couldn't mow the lawn. I had to get somebody else to do that. I couldn't just enjoy life at all.
And what was your life like after the procedure?
Now I'm not completely pain free, but I can go do things. I can walk in here without worrying about being in pain or counting the steps and see how painful is this, you know, going to be? I used to run. Now I can't run, but at least I can walk. I can go on walks. I can go on hikes. I can mow the lawn again. So it's really been a huge benefit for me. It's a lot. It was rough not being able to do the things I like to do. Now I can at least do a lot of the stuff I want to do.
And how was your Overall experience with Dr. Truong and the staff here at Truong Rehabilitation Center?
Oh, it was great. The staff was great. They put up with my poor sense of humor. They answered all the questions I had, got all the appointments when I needed them, pretty much right there on time. The procedure itself was just, as she explained it to be, a little bit discomfort. But other than that, I walked out of here and then again following the prescribed procedures. Take it easy. Just chill for a few months and let the body do what it needs to do. You'll get results. And I did as she said. I'm a very happy person right now.
Well, that's great to hear, Rob. We're glad that you have less pain and you're doing well, and we really appreciate you coming in today to chat with us about the procedure. Thank you.
