Shock Wave Therapy For Knee & Hip Pain, Trigger Point Injection (TPI) for Back Pain

So 2 years ago I had my right knee replaced and I had to unfortunately go in and have a second surgery done on the knee due to some bone fragments. I had been having continual pain within the knee itself. The muscles, the IT bands, everything had just kind of gone bonkers. So I had done numerous physical therapy. Nothing was working. So I came to see Dr. Truong for some other alternatives. She did the shockwave therapy on my knee, which immediately after the first one did major improvement. It wasn't as stiff anymore. I didn't have as much pain. I was able to sleep a little bit better. By the time we finished all of the treatments, the knee itself, I was able to walk put properly, I was able to bend it. I didn't have the stiffness I had and I didn't have the pain and I was able to sleep. So then we decided to focus on my back and we did some trigger points on that. And with the very first trigger point injection, the IT band in my right leg immediately released. It was like night and day difference. I didn't realize how bad it was or that it was even still bothering me. And by the time we finished the trigger point treatments, the lower back was not near what it was, it wasn't stiff, I was able to roll and move, etc. However, it had moved into my left hip at that point. So we decided to do shockwave therapy on that. And by the second treatment, all of the pain in the hip itself was gone. The leg started loosening up. And so I just finished up with the fourth, fourth shockwave. And we'll come back again for a monthly injection for the trigger point, but all of the pain has dissipated and is no longer there.
