In this instructional video, Dr. Anne Truong MD explains how vacuum pumps and constriction bands can be used safely and effectively to manage erectile dysfunction (ED). She describes the physiological basis—negative pressure draws blood into the corpus cavernosum and a constriction band traps it to maintain rigidity—then outlines a four‑step clinical protocol: (1) preparation (shave, retract scrotum, apply water‑based lubricant), (2) slow, low‑pressure vacuuming (≤10 mmHg, stop if pain), (3) band application (slide over base, limit wear to ≤30 minutes), and (4) safe removal (quick‑release tab). Dr. Truong emphasizes critical safety rules (no sleeping with the band, watch for numbness or discoloration) and lists contraindications (blood‑thinners, Peyronie’s disease). She stresses that vacuum therapy is a management tool, not a cure, and advises investigating underlying causes of ED such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hormonal issues, or obesity. The video also promotes her paid programs—the Get Hard System via the Modern Man Club (noedman.com) and a private coaching service (Renew with Dr. Anne).

Hello there, Modern Man. For many men experiencing ED, medical devices like the vacuum pump and the constriction bands are highly effective. When I say vacuum pump, I mean this one here. And constriction band, what I'm referring to is the band like right here that goes around the corpus cavernosum. These are highly effective Non-pharmaceutical tools, but there is a right way to use it and there is a dangerous way to use it. I'm going to show you how to use it safely. And if you use it incorrectly, these devices can cause tissue damage and skin irritation. So I'm going to break down the clinical protocol for using the vacuum constriction device, which is this, to safely achieve and maintain rigidity. Most men think losing peak performance is just Getting old. I will tell you it's not. There's a natural proven protocol doctors rarely talk about that will restore your confidence without side effects. It is called the My Get Hard System, and you can get that by joining the Modern Man Club today. Go to noedman.com. That's noedman.com, and I'll see you there. So this is how it works. These devices, penis pump and the constriction device, work in simple physiological principle. Negative pressure. The pump creates a vacuum around the shaft, which physically draws in blood into the corpus cavernosum, the spongy tissue responsible for erection. The bands— once the desired rigidity is achieved, this constriction band is placed on the base to prevent immediate venous outflow. Or the blood leaving the penis, essentially trapping the blood in the tissue to maintain the erection. Here's a safe protocol on how to use it. Safety is non-negotiable. Follow this 4-step sequence to avoid injury. First of all, make sure you shave around the pubic area and the base of your penis, and make sure that when you put the pump on that You pull down the scrotum so the scrotum doesn't get suctioned in. Apply a lot of water-based lubricant to the base of the shaft and also on the corpus cavernosum itself. So that way there's a lot of lubrication and also on the base of the cylinder of the pump and also on the side of the pump as well too. So So that way when you're doing negative pressure, it's easy glide and there's no resistance. Okay. So this also ensures a tight seal and prevents skin friction. Number 2, when you start the vacuum, you want to go slow and low. Insert the shaft into the cylinder, begin pumping slowly. Never use excessive pressure. You are looking for a gradual rise, not a forceful one. Stop immediately if you feel pain or pinching. Make sure that you also keep the scrotum down as well. You don't want to go more than 10 millimeters of mercury on the gauge right here. All right. Number 3, band application. So once you achieve good, sufficient rigidity, slide the tension band You want to slide it, the band, over the base. You remove the cylinder slowly and you apply the constriction on. So you want to keep the blood in the corpus cavernosum and that you never wear the band more than 30 minutes to prevent tissue ischemia or lack of oxygen. Number 4, after 30 minutes, Remove the band. The band is difficult to remove. Do not panic. Most are designed with a quick-release tab like this one here, or other constriction devices as well. Critical do-not list. To protect your vascular health, do these rules. No sleep. Never fall asleep while wearing the constriction band. You gotta stay awake. Watch for numbness. If you feel coldness, numbness, or significant discoloration, The band is too tight, remove it immediately. Preexisting conditions. If you are on blood thinners like warfarin or Eliquis or have Peyronie's disease, consult your urologist before using these devices as they can cause bruising and aggravate the curvature. Now, you can also use a constriction band, the pumping and the constriction band, right before intimacy as well too. So you can use it as a time to exercise your penis, or you can use it right before intimacy. So you can time it right before. And the whole thing is that the pump gives you the erection. You maintain the erection with the band, and then all it is is keeping the blood inside the corpus cavernosum for rigidity. Okay. So vacuum therapy is the gold standard for treatment For many clinics, but it's a tool for management, not a cure for underlying cause. So if you're using this regularly, you should be investigating why blood flow is compromised, whether is it your heart, is it due to diabetes, is it due to hormones, is it due to being overweight, or other things. So just know that you need to know the cause of why you're having ED. So I hope that was helpful. And if you're still having ED and still struggling with trying to figure it out, we have the Modern Man Club for you to access the Get Hard System where you can have the roadmap to get back the rigidity that you want, especially when using the penis pump and the constriction ring. Check it out in the Modern Man Club at NoEDMan.com because you do not have to suffer and you are not broken. All right. Also, if you want to work with me, check out Renew with Dr. Anne. We'll see how we can get you into the game again. See you next episode. See you next episode.
