Why You Need A Testicle Maintenance Routine

Dr. Anne Truong explains how sitting and pelvic tension compress veins in the scrotum, reducing blood flow. She demonstrates a two-minute massage routine, two to three times weekly, using light rolling strokes to improve drainage and catch testicular cancer early through self-exam.

Most men perform regular maintenance on their car, their computer, and even gym routine. Yet, when it comes to the most sensitive area, the male reproductive system, most men frankly have no idea what normal feels like. If you ever felt heaviness after a long workout or persistent tension that seems linked to your pelvic floor, you are not alone. Today, I'm breaking down the anatomy, of the scrotum, why gentle, intentional maintenance is a standard part of preventative urological care, and exactly how to perform a self-exam that could save your life. Most men think losing peak performance is just getting old. I will tell you it's not. There's a natural, proven protocol doctors rarely talk about that will restore your confidence without side effects. It is called the My Get Hard System, and you can get that by joining the Modern Man Club today. Go to NoEDMan.com. That's NoEDMan.com, and I'll see you there. I'm Dr. Anne Truong. I'm a sexual health medical doctor. I've helped over 7,000 men with ED. So to understand why we talk about massage in a clinical sense, we have to look at the muscle called cremaster muscle. This is the muscle that is responsible for the reflex that contracts the testicles when you're cold or when you're startled. This muscle surrounds the testicle. Then many men, particularly those who sit for long hours or deal with chronic pain down there, this muscle stays in a state of high tension. Essentially, it's stuck in a semi-tightened position. Which then lead to reduced circulation or reduced blood flow. And if the veins get compressed, and what happens is that there's not a lot of blood down there, and therefore the temperature is not being well regulated. And then you also have what's called lymphatic congestion, or a feeling of heaviness or dull discomfort after physical activity. So by gently manipulating the tissues like in your testicles, you aren't looking for stimulation. You're looking to encourage lymphatic drainage and muscular downregulation. So how do you do this? So I want to be very clear, this should be as light as testing the ripeness of a tomato, or as light as touching like an egg without crushing it. Never deep, never compressive. And you need to be in a warm room. If you're cold, the cremaster muscle will contract, making it impossible to feel the underlying structures. So use your thumb and your first 2 fingers. You are targeting the spermatic cord, which is the structure that sits right on top of the testicle, and the surrounding scrotal tissue. So the motion, using slow, gentle Rolling and circular strokes. You are not massaging the testicle itself. You are working the supportive tissue around it. So you want to use your thumb and your second and your third finger on both sides, and you're just massaging the whole scrotal area. And then the top of the testicles, which is the spermatic cord, which is the structure that actually transfers the sperm into the prostate. To be stored. So you're just massaging around the scrotal area here. So the duration is 1 to 2 minutes. You want to do this 1 to 2 minutes, about maybe 2 to 3 times a week. It is more than plenty. If you feel any sharp pain, nausea, or localized tenderness, stop immediately. This is your body telling you There's something wrong. And if you feel a mass, stop and go see your doctor. This is where it gets important. The real medical benefit of this routine isn't the massage, it's awareness. This is the perfect time to perform that testicle self-exam. So as you move, you are feeling for any hard, painless lump. The most common sign of a concern such that Testicular cancer. Significant changes in size or shape compared to before is important. And if you feel a dull ache in the groin or lower abdomen, if you find a new mass, do not panic, but do not wait. Schedule an appointment with your doctor to be evaluated. Testicular cancer is highly treatable when it's caught early, but it requires you to know what normal feels like So that way you can spot what's going on. Let me ask you, when is the last time you massaged your scrotum and testicle? Because this is the same way that we ask women to do their self-breast exam. You need to know what normal is for you. So I advise that you do it at least once or twice a week for optimal duration. Health is about being proactive, not reactive.
